December 31, 2003

Hey people in my ex class of BIT, here's the placement of the students. Some are still not added, feel free to contact me to add them.

The Monday BBQ was quite fun, quite different from what I thought initially. Met the old gang there, Eng Kee, Abel, Wei Kian, Puay Seed, Keng Hock, Daniel and Milton. We played quite a few games, which I believe it's actually ice breaker from their respectively uniform group. My class has always been one of the best in its level, Half the class belongs to School Council and Prefects' Board. Half my class are either a leader in their CCA or hold senior positon. It's quite silly actually, well, as long as it's fun, don't really want to complain much.

Left them early as my dad is fetching me. The rest are staying overnight at Hock's house. It was long pass the midnight, since my dad is available and I didn't bring extra clothes for overnight, might as well go home. The distance from Costa Sand Resort at East Coast to Parkway Parade was a hell of a distance. It's damn scary walking under the flats.

Reached home, switched on my computer and boss was telling me the timetable was out. Cool. Did some funny trick and downloaded half the timetable of my class, or rather, ex class. Called meiling and Ronald over the phone just to tell them the timetable was out and guess what, it's 1 AM already. The Temasek Polytechnic portal was so slow till I can take a shower and it's still loading. Well, most of my classmates including meiling doesn't have CDS (Cross-Disciplinary Subjects). Strange? Well, extra workload for them for the next semester. Anyway, I got into Psychology. It's the bottom of my selection, darn it. I wanted so badly to get into French. I force myself up so early just to register for this crap and I was not given.

So now I got separated from most of my classmates, only Han and Sharon with me. At least there's the 3 of us. It's going to be strange in a classroom with no one you know.

Took a 5 hours sleep before waking up and meeting Eng Kee to fix a new computer for him. Anyway, this is the spec of his computer, Intel Pentium 4 2.6C, 512MB DDR400, 80GB Maxtor SATA Hard disk, Asus P4P800C motherboard and ATi Radeon 9200SE. It cost $1250 after I ask the salesgirl for a discount. She's quite friendly actually.

Completed fixing everything after 1 hr or so. Not my fastest speed, it's held by Ronald currently. at 45min I guess. Went shopping at Cold Storage after hoping on to a cab. Nothing much, got myself hair conditioner, batteries for my wireless mouse, chicken breakfast ham and sweet wine.

Reached home and found my friendster account being hacked. Someone changed my profile to a female and replaced my occupation to "sales ass". This person even posted 2 bulletin messages, insulting my poly mate, Alan. Well, trust me, if this person added some strange testimonial or send some wierd message to my friends, you are going to be so dead. You know why? I going to make a police report. Yes, I am not kiddin.

Nothing much, trying to forget this incident now and listening to Norah Jones soothing music.

December 28, 2003

Woke up today at 3pm. Wanted to go out, but after bathing and having my lunch, I was just too plain lazy to get out of the house. Quite a sunny sunday, opened up my windows to air the room and make my bed. 1 more week to school, better get my early sleeping habit back on track, if not, I am going to miss my morning lectures and tutorials. Speaking of that, my timetable will be out on the 30/31 Dec. Just hope I can get french as my CDS.

Might be going for the BBQ afterall. Keng Hock asked me again today. I asked who's going and stuff. At least most of my friends and "better-than-normal" friends are going. At least I won't get bored over there.

Going to have my late dinner now. ta ta.
Not exactly a good day to start off in the morning. My dad broke my wine glass, not that I am angry, he is afterall my dad, but the idea of getting a replacement for it is something I dread of. It actually a pair of wine glasses, which I use it for drinking my irish cream, red wines and brandy. I am not exactly a heavy drinker, just once in a while. Think will get a replacement on monday, tsk, this gonna disrupt my planning for that day.

Make some changes to my Friendster profile while working today. It's just the same old crap, do check it up if you are bored.

Watched "Home Alone 2" today on Channel 5. A classic Christmas type of movie which I won't get bored of. It has been repeating almost yearly and me, been watching it since young.

So I was invited to the BBQ party (Read yesterday blog). Received a message right before I sleep, it's by her. I was assuming that "monkey" told her about him leaking this to me and found out I was not invited. Woke up and found another message by this good friend of her. Seems to be addressing to more than one person, "Hi ppl, you are invited to X party at ECP blah blah blah". So was I actually invited due to circumstance? God knows.

December 27, 2003

Bored. Spent the afternoon on the computer and mopping my house. 7 different areas to mop, not an easy task.

Lots of phone calls and messages during the evening. First, my brother in law seeking help on his computer. He always call on my mobile, though I really don't mind speaking on the house phone, just hope that my sister won't get enraged looking at the handphone bill at the end of the month.

"Monkey" was asking me about the computer parts as he's buying a new computer. Well, I suppose another friend of mine has been feeding him with thr wrong information and good thing he clarify with me. Not that I don't trust this friend but his egoistic manner always get the better of him. Sometimes, I simply ignore him to spare myself from his crap.

Well, "monkey" also told me about Cindy's gathering or some sort next week. Doesn't really bother about her, I'm not close to her, I don't like her, I give no heed to any business of her and I don't add her in my friendster. Just that the fact that I been informed of this and he thought I was invited makes me irritated. If I have no knowledge of it, I won't have think about it. Now he tell me about this, it seems that I am left behind. It also happen to me and a group of friends for Janice chalet. As long as I don't know I am not invited, it's fine.

Well, just not feeling that good today, mentally. I am free from my sickness, though I am still coughing a little.

Watched Norah Jones interview on Channel News Asia. Tempted to buy her album, her songs are great! She has a great voice too. It's a mix of blue and jazz. Maybe will keep a lookup the next time I visit CD shop.

December 25, 2003

Merry Christmas!

Well, didn't follow my dad to do the paperwork for his vehicle. Instead, went to watch movie with my mei (read: Godsister). She was late, got confused on the way to get out of the station maze at Douby Ghaut. We missed first 5 min of the movie - Love Actually. Anyway, Love Actually is superb! I love their British slang, started falling in love with their slang after watching "Sliding Door". After the movie, we walked around Orchard, from Plaza Singapura to Scotts Shopping Centre. We settled for dinner at this Hainanese restaurant named "Heng". It's located at Wisma, I ordered Beef noodles (with a choice of beef balls or beef slices) and lime juice while my mei ordered Laska and soft drink. The bill - $20.80. Kinda expensive but it's at Orchard, should be the standard rate, I suppose. Anyway, I always been interested in Hainanese culture, being a hainanese myself (Both my parents are hainanese).

We walked back to Centrepoint and took a train back. I followed her home before calling my dad and asked for a free ride home, plain lazy to take a bus.

Right now listening to Christmas songs by Michael Bublé and a group called "Vocaluptuous" and slipping a hot cup of coffee. The Vocaluptuous is a birthday present by Adeline. heh.

December 24, 2003

Finally completed writing my Christmas cards. All those that have been good this year, do check your mailbox. :)

Went Bugis after doing the postal stuff at Singapore Post Centre. Lots of people doing last minute Christmas shopping at Cold Storage, grabbed a packet of cookies and sushi. yummy. Wanted to buy the Billabong 3/4 pants but can't really decide on the color, should I take brown or black? If only Ronald is with me....

Went home and out again. This time with my mom. Doing some last minute shopping before the start of my birthday celebration. Bought satays and some other stuff before my dad come and fetch us. Anyway, the new car will be ready to collect on the first of Jan... wee, very excited, although I don't have a license...yet.

Reached home, oh boy, everyone were there already. My sisters and my brother-in-laws. The KFC delivery arrived shortly and we commence on my birthday feast. Lots of food, yummy! Well, my birthday present was a Timberland shirt, doubt I will be wearing it to school, it's long sleeve, I will try to wear it next time, but I seldom wear long sleeve, no pants to match with it.

After everyone went off, my dad and I had a drink of VSOP. The taste is somehow like Irish Cream but without the milky taste. Right now eating on my sushi with some of the VSOP.

Thanks everyone for the preparation of my pre-birthday celebration (Jesslyn and gang), birthday presents (Adeline, Jesslyn and gang) and the birthday greetings (Ron, Daniel, Adeline, Cheng Cheng, Michell, Nadia, Ronald, Wei Kian, Jesslyn and gang). This from the bottom of my heart. My memory is kinda bad, if you are not mentioned above, do remember to tell me, okie?
Take care. ta ta.

December 23, 2003

Falling sick, went off early before my meeting with Adeline to see my doctor. She gave me the normal stuff, antibiotic, cough syrup (yucks) and some painkiller.

Rushed to Bugis in a cab and try to scout around for a Christmas present for Adeline, bought Christmas cards on the way while scouting. In the end, decided to get something edible for her. If you are reading this, Adeline, hope you like it. :).

Met her at Paya Lebar MRT and we exchanged our present, a birthday present for me and a Christmas present for her, heh. She still the same, doesn't change much since I last saw her in school. Wanted to follow her to the bus stop, but it feel kinda awkward as we seldom talk except through Messenger and sms. Also, I was afraid I might be late for the meeting with Jesslyn and gang.

Over at the Tanah Merah MRT, I was the first to arrive. Strangely, every meeting with them, I was the always the latest, now I was the first. Perhaps it's my birthday celebration? heh. Ivan was the 3rd to arrive and guess what? He highlighted his hair, haha, quite refreshing in my opinion. The girls are the last, Jesslyn look cool in her new hairstyle and also Tian Nee with her straightened hair.

We proceed to Changi Airport for dinner at Swensens. I ordered Breaded Chicken with lemon sauce, yummy. Shouldn't have eaten this, kinda "heaty", right now, I am suffering from the effect of it, coughing non stop. We chatted quite alot, our life during the holiday and stuff. As usual, Boss was so shy, he don't wish to have his picture taken. Anyway, we manage to have a group photo taken by one of the Swensens staff.

Took a bus down to Tampines Mall. From there, we window shop around and went on for our photo taking craze, we must have look real silly over there. haha.

After that, we went home, overslept again. Called up my dad to fetch me home from the bus stop, heh.

Well, now it's after 12, time to open up my presents. From here, I like to thanks Jesslyn and gang (Boss, Ivan and Tian Nee) for the wonderful night and the present, Adeline for the present, "Cheng Cheng", Nadia and my mei for the Birthday greeting. You people really made my day.

Till now, going to play online for awhile before tucking in early waiting for my family celebration. :)

December 22, 2003

Couldn't go out today, darn. Got a mild fever, sore throat and running nose. *sniff*

Woah, it has been raining non stop for 2 days, the wet weather makes the feeling of Yuletide kinda alive. I will have prefer a wet weather for Christmas rather then a hot sunny weather.

My sisters coming back on my birthday, yahoo! I was taken in by surprise when they asked me what I want for my birthday. Until now, I have everything I wanted and it's kinda odd when someone ask you what you want for birthday, it just doesn't feel right.

Gee, looking forward to meeting Adeline and Jesslyn and gang tomorrow. Bought something for Adeline last year as a Christmas present, this year, it's kinda late to do any shopping, maybe I will just snowball it till her birthday.

2 days more before meeting my godsister for movie, wee, I just feel lucky to have so much friends around me.

Strange, received an odd message today on my handphone, "You have received an E-Greeting from Walt (HP No: ********), Please visit E-Ideas to view the greeting". So from my handphone, I entered E-Ideas and this person leave a greeting, "Hi, interested to be friends?". I don't know whether am I smart or dumb but I just sent a reply thanks him for the greeting and stuff. Alright, this person is a male, well, he's interested to be my friend, I suppose he got my contact from the E-Ideas friends list. We chatted awhile through sms, he's name is Walton, 28 years old. He's kinda easy going, told me he's gonig to watch Lord of the Ring tonight and ask me if I am going to watch it, remember to bring a jacket as it's cold and the show lasts 3 hrs. Not bad for a friend though.

Pray that I will recover from my sickness tomorrow.

Right now, going to make gluntinous rice ball for my family. Yummy. Kinda easy, just boil the water together with pandan leaves and ginger when it started to boil, add in sugar until it's sweet. Put in the rice ball, when it float, it's ready to eat. heh. Cutting the pandan leaves from my garden now, so long, good bye.

December 21, 2003

Still in my holiday mood, just feel so different at home now. Wanted to go out to get my Christmas cards, check whether Cold Storage accept any last minute booking and develop my film from the Penang trip . Oh well, why does it have to rain today?

Christmas appoaching! Next week, finally. Really looking forward to the Christmas, I am actually a Christmas baby as told by the doctor but came into this world 2 days before Christmas. To my Polytechnic friends, yes, my birthday is on the 23rd December. Sorry to keep it a secret from you guys for so long. heh.

This year birthday is so much different. My friends usually don't celebrate for me as they are usually working or overseas, it' falls on a school holiday afterall. But this year, I have people like Adeline, Jesslyn and gang and maybe my godsister to celebrate with me. Frankly speaking, this is the first birthday which I will be celebrating with friends, I don't know how I will react on that day.

Think I am going to be sick. running nose and sore throat. Been skipping my daily medicine ever since the Penang trip. Let's hope that I will be well for the whole of next week. Got so many things planned out already.

December 19, 2003

hell yeah. Back from Penang. Spent the 13 hours ride back to Singapore sleeping.

Back at Lavender MRT, we went for breakfast before going our separate way home, I shared a cab with Ronald.

Well, overall, Penang was quite fun. Though much of the clothing stuff you can get it at Singapore at the same price. Wanted to buy a Levis jeans, but thinking over it, might as well get it in Singapore since it's roughly the same price.

The food is great! Their prawn mee was delicious, not quite the same as the variety found in Singapore. "Lok Lok" is quite okie, but I find it unhygienic, as the boiling water is shared, when a new batch of people takeover the table, they will use the same water which you just used. "Lok Lok" is basically a type of steamboat, the food are placed on a satay sticks (reused also) and you place it in the water to boil it before dipping it in satay sauce.

Meiling's relatives were very friendly, enjoyed their warm hospitality. They insisted on treating us every meal, even booked a mini van for us to for sightseeing. At the last day, they even treat us seafood at a restaurant. We tried to pay, but they paid before we can take any action.

Gonna take a rest now. Will have a mini guide when I am free to do one. :p

December 14, 2003

Cool, going off to Penang tomorrow. Called the travel agency, told me my booking is confirmed. But forgotten to ask whether the hotel is the one I selected or some other hotels, because I remembered telling the staff if the selected hotel is unavailable, they could help me select other hotels. Called them again, they told me they are unsure of the hotel and will give me a call tomorrow again. Gee... Going to fill in the travel visa later.

Well, a normal sunday. Sisters are back and brother-in-law are back, chatted awhile and I was back to my computer game. One of my sister ordered a roast beef thingy for me, sort of a christmas dish for me. Speaking of Christmas, I have to rush to complete my Christmas order at Cold Storage tomorrow before departing Singapore.

Have to run a tight schedule tomorrow. Going for my haircut, christmas stuff to order and get a new CDRW to store my mp3s.

Going to apply my travel insurance online now. ta ta.
A new game for me, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Spent more than 12 hours straight on the game, challenging, till now, only manage to complete 30% of the game.

Spent the afternoon and evening playing the game and waiting for the travel agency to give me a call. They are still waiting for the hotel confirmation when I gave them a call. I just hope they will give us the status a.s.a.p. on Sunday. Don't really want to rush out of the house the moment they give the confirmation on Monday.

Cried over the movie, The Iron Giant. It's a nice show, at first, I thought the ending was quite saddening, the Giant in order to protect the town, gave up his life. But in the end, he's still alive, as his scattered parts crawl back together and form back the Giant.

Was in the best of mood today when this little kiddo came along and disturb me. Don't really want to add him to my MSN Messenger list, but someone gave him my contact anyway. I was watching Band of Brothers when he ask me some stuff. Well, he hit a raw nerve of mine and I just couldn't take it. I just tell him I am busy and block him of my list. Guess what, he got 3 contacts, and I blocked 2 of them, the other I don't know his email. Stupid kiddo, go get a life.

okie, going to do some important stuff.

December 12, 2003

Thought of joining down to the PolyClinic to get my hepatitis immunization but ronald and meiling arranged to meet at 3 pm. Over at the train station, met Ronald by surprise, so the 2 of us went down together to Golden Miles to meet Meiling.

Finally, meiling's aunt allows her to go. Don't ask me why her aunt want to poke into this, I myself is already sick of doing the asking and arranging the stuff. Done our booking at one of the agency and it's not really confirm yet. The agency has to confirm with the hotel first. Quite a high possibility that the hotel will be fully booked. If only we have booked early. Now waiting for 2 working days before the agency contact me.

It was raining heavily when we reached Bugis. Wanted to make reservation for the christmas foodstuff at Cold Storage but there's no one at the counter. Talk about quality service. We bought sushi. Simply loves the flying fish and salmon roe sushi. delicious!

Walked to Raffles City. Nothing much over there, walked around, wanted to get one of those Ocean Pacific broad shorts, but doesn't come with any pocket, the design is kinda nice. Marks and Spencer stop selling tit bits? I went Centrepoint last time and couldn't find any, over here, it's the same situation.

Shopped at Jason market, just like any typical supermarket, but is suited for the higher income class and expats. It's runned by Cold Storage anyway.

Meiling parted with us at the train station while Ronald and I went City Link to look around. He got himself an umbrella at $6 cos it's rainy. haha. On our way to the bus stop it was raining cats and dogs. Good thing I bought along an umbrella this time. My mom always reminds me to bring umbrella when the sky is dark and always her advice is turned on deaf ears, this time, really have to thanks her for her constant reminder.

Seems like it's 2 weeks more to Christmas and also, my birthday. ho ho ho. Changed the background song to The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). Hope you people enjoys it. Included the lyrics too.

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

Hey, anyone wanna watch "Love Actually"? I still looking for someone to watch with me. Can be a group or alone, doesn't really matter. :)

December 11, 2003

Went down to Toyota showroom with my dad to make the booking. Finally, after all the car viewing. It's a arctic silver model, 1.6 Automatic gear. My dad asked me to do all the paperwork, writing the cheque and stuff, then the sales engineer (actually is salesman, but they call themselves sales engineer) said something like, "your son run your business for you ah?". My dad was like smiling and saying no. Actually, I been helpig my dad to write cheque since young, I love doing that, don't ask me why, I just love to do paperwork, I open my dad's letters too. heh.

Went ICA building to meet up with Meiling and Ronald. My dad gave me a ride there from the showroom. Surprise to see Binxun (Meiling's brother) and Norman (Meiling's cousin). Anyway, we make our way to Golden Miles Complex to take a look at the prices of the tour package. Norman as usual, a restless monkey, very playful. One thing about Golden Miles Complex is a strong odour. It's smell like rubbish, I remembered my sister told me, when she's at Thailand, their food market have this strong smell that smells like rubbish. I bet it's the same smell she's referring to. It's pork. yucks.

Well, after walking around asking, we manage to shortlist 2 travel agencies. Went to a nearby market for dinner (known as Army market). Shop around the army market after dinner, it's quite an early dinner, around 5.30pm.

Walked to Suntec after that. Spent almost 2 hours at carrefour, I bought bread and sushi while Ronald bought a rack. Everyone of us had sushi along the way to Bugis.

We walked to Bugis as Ronald suggested to Meiling and the 2 kiddo about more cabs over there. After they left, Ronald and I was waiting for the bus. I want to rush home to watch Charmed but the bus just didn't arrive. Suddenly, I remembered the bus which the both of us were taking had a change in the route some when last week. I went to take a look at the bus board, true enough, it's not serving the Bugis bus stop. -_-

We took another alternate bus and it's way over 10 pm. Reached home at 10.30pm and didn't catch the front part of Charmed, so don't really know what the hell is going on. AGGRH.

Was playing Warcraft 3 online with Ronald when he suddenly tell me he got to go. Guess the reason? Meiling want to talk to him about changing the date of the tour to end of the month just because her primary school friend want to join in. Hey great, for the sake of one person, she ruining the whole thing. If there's really a change in date, I am considering not going. I have a whole lot of activites planned for the end of the month. I am not going to give it up just becos of 1 silly dude.

She keep on making funny request for the trip and till now, she haven't even confirm yet. This sucks big time. god damn it.

December 09, 2003

First of all, got to apologies for not updating my blog for the last 2 days (Sunday and Monday). The Blogspot server was down on Sunday, couldn't update it and on monday, went for another chalet which was sort of a Polytechnic class gathering. As I usually update my blog at night and the fact that I was out in the early evening, so another day of blog not updated.

Was busy checking out with the various travel agencies on the Penang trip, Meiling was asking for funny requests and at the end, after 3 calls to this travel agency, decded to tell her directly, "Hey, how about this, I give you the number and you go ask them yourself?" She sort of give up on her odd request and give me a break. I was already late for the appointment to meet Boss at Tampines to go to the chalet together.

Took a bus down, quite a long journey, traffic jams every now and then during the journey. Was late by 15 min, arranged with him to meet me at the Post Office while I go hand in my NKF Donation card to the counter. Speaking of this, I didn't really go seek donation, was in the midst of my projects deadline, so couldn't really go ask my friends. Forked out $20 from my own pocket and put my family names down. At least I didn't surrender an empty donation card, it's good enough, isn't that so? :)

Over at the chalet, I feel kinda wierd. It been a while since I last contact them. BUt after a while, the same old feeling is back. Make quite a few new friends over there, though I did not ask for any contact from them. There's "Mohammand Ali", Mohammand Mathatir (hope I got it right), Pei Qi (Han's gal), Samuel (Met before, Mayvis' guy) and Nad's brother (ya right, his guy actually). Don't know how "Mohammand Ali" got his name, he's a chinese, at least from his looks, well since everyone called him that, I might as well. Hey, he got a younger brother by the name of Brandon too. cool eh?

Faith was like calling me a mummy's boy throughout her stay at the chalet. Seriously, I don't know why she called me that. I can stay overnight anytime and anywhere. I don't have a fixed time to reach home and my parents don't really control my social life. But hey, the funny part is, she's not staying overnight, all the crap talk about she has a choice of whether to stay overnight or go home. HAHA! I bet she's went home cos' she has a curfew or something. No offence, okie? :p

Boss lost like $80+ during the chalet. I think he's kinda silly to bet on so much money while playing blackjack. People like me bet on ten cents, while he, $10 per game. totally nuts. The worse part is, he didn't earn any money, but lost all of his capital. haha. For me, earned about 4-5 times my capital. The overall winner should be Mayvis and Samuel.

Slept at around 4 A.M. Still can hear the jokes cracked by James and Samuel. Soon I fell asleep with my classical music playing on my headphone.

Woke up 8 A.M, again, by the jokes cracked by James and Samuel. These 2 are great jokers, haha. Went off for an early lunch after changing my clothes. "Mohammand Ali", Han and Boss was with me over at the food court, but I was the only one eating, both Han and Ali bought food back for them. While Boss was waiting for me to go home together.

Took a bus down to Pasir Ris MRT, alighted at Tampines MRT before taking a bus home.

Kinda tired now with only 4 hrs of sleep. going to sleep now. ta ta.

December 07, 2003

woah, 7.30 A.M. now. Just reached home from the chalet. Not really a class chalet, more of a family chalet, not mine family though. There's 7 of us, Li Sze, Daniel, Abel, Eng Kee, Zui Kai and of course, Milton. His family booked the chalets, 4 units in total. Well, never got a chance to enter the room, only for their family, I guess.

Went to play bowling, kinda fun, but the shoes kinda comfortable without socks. We chatted till the morning with instant noodles and alcoholic drinks to keep us going. Those alcoholic drinks are bought by someone else, I am afterall, an underage. Sitted outside BK and we played some unlogical IQ games, yeah, it's kinda boring. Parted way with them, leaving Abel, Eng Kee, Daniel and me to go home. tHey have to attend church mass while I just follow with the majority.

The new Teva slippers hurts. Not quite use to it, bought it in the afternoon after buying my memory from Sim Lim. Speaking of memory, it reminds me of this person. She's told me memory affects the internet speed, LOL! If that is so, my desktop will be running at 2GB/sec, can't find any logical explaination for the relationship between internet speed and memory. haha. Oh dear, think I going to spend a fortune on the DECT cordless phone, went SingTel's Hello! shop and was observing each model carefully. Gonna get it after receiving the money I paid for my classmates for the class chalet.

Rushed down to the chalet in the last train after completing my work, left me with no time to type my blog until now.

Might not be going for the TP Class chalet afterall, quite tired after today. Besides being tired, Ronald has been asking me to help him install his broadband stuff on the 9th. So probably giving it a miss.

*yawn* Going to sleep now.

December 06, 2003

Went ICA Building today with Meiling and Ronald to settle our travel document stuff. Gosh, Ronald was wearing the same shirt as me! But his was red while mine was dark blue. But the design is the same. I been getting wierd stare from some people. yucks. While waiting for our turn, there's this middle age guy who started to chat with me. He said "your passport got so many chops, went overseas alot ah?". I replied yes and add some comment, trying not to appear rude. Then he took a look at my queue number and said, "can go together with you later? I missed my queue, don't want to wait". uh ha, so that's his real intention for being so friendly.

So allowed him to come along with me. Over at the counter, the officer said something like each passport need a different queue number. Then she asked whether are we related. I was like eh? The uncle did all the talking. Anyway, the officer was kind enough to extend his son passport after dealing with mine.

Meiling went off early to attend to some family stuff, while Ronald and me went Bugis to get his telephone cable, he was so excited about his coming broadband connection on tuesday, asking me to go his house to install the modem. Spent an hour over there before proceeding to Plaza Singapura.

Actually Ronald wanted to go WWE Smackdown, but after my constant nagging, he decided to give up his idea of attending. Nothing much at Plaza Singapura, went around window shopping and find my classmate over there.

Walked to Herren, and there's this dark blue polo T that got my attention. But they only have Medium. I thought I will be wearing small. Walked to Takashimaya (?), and went the food court, oh my, it's so packed! Can't even find a seat. No choice, went Wisma food court. It's kinda small, I think less than 10 stalls. Anyway, I got the Polo T I been eyeing. Tried the small size, it's fitted me well, but decided to get Medium.

At the food court, I ordered fish noodles. not really filling. After our late dinner, walked to C.K. Tang and window shop there.

Over at Far East, the shops are closed when we reach there. Decided to meet Meiling for coffee at Coffee Bean. Took a train there. We discussed about the Penang trip and kinda surprise everyone is quite confirm that they are going. Gonna make a call to check out with the travel agencies.

ta ta, munching on my snack while checking out details on Penang.

Wanted to sleep early last night, but ended up chatting late with "cheng cheng" and ting ping. Gee, it's nice chatting with the both of them. I find that it's easy to communicate with people when you treat them more than just friends. I don't chat with girls like they way I chat with them, we can talk a wide range of topics, which sometimes, I don't usually discuss with normal friends. Open minded girls are more outgoing in my opinion. Not really implying that most of my female friends are narrow minded, but I tend to keep a certain distance from them, most likely it's because we are not that close or I feel that we lack a mutual understanding due to a lack of continuous communication.

Christmas approaching soon, gonna collect my friends' address to send christmas card. If you have been good, I will send you a Christmas greeting. :)

Suppose to go out today, but was enjoying my sleep, mentally, refusing to get up. Well, missed Jesslyn and gang movie outing and Ronald's airport outing.

Was checking my Temasek Polytechnic mailbox and found a email informing me of my contribution to the class as a Subject Representive. I thought only Class Representive earns SEAL point. Anyway, it's great that your contribution has been noticed.

Ting Ping asked for my horoscope and after telling her, she was like "no wonder". She said people of my horoscope are wierd. Am I really that wierd? *grin* Except for my frequent mood swing and my "HATE TO BE DISTURBED WHEN SLEEPING" behaviour, I am much like others, a normal human being. Speaking of sleeping, I hate it when someone called me when I am still in bed. Well, Ronald has been scolded/tortued by me for waking me up in the middle of my sleep.

AGGRH, missed Gotcha today on channel 5. Wanted to watch but fall asleep on the bed with my TV on. I am gonna hate myself for this, today is suppose to be extremely funny compared to last week. There's this girl going, spotting for couple and tell the guy why he didn't contact her after that night. It's funny. yeah.

Gonna watch Love Actually one of these days. Suppose to watch Uptown girl with adeline but somehow, forgotten my promise to her to watch that movie together. Maybe will ask the old gang whether they want to watch together before I ask my other friends to watch.

Right now listening to Ono Lisa. She's a great Bossa Nova singer. Highly recommended by me. :)

Gonna make a cup of coffee and maybe play an hour of game before sleeping. ta ta.

Changed the background song to I'll be home for Christmas
If you like, you can sing along, included the lyrics.

I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow
And mistletoe
And presents 'neath the tree
Christmas eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
Christmas eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
If only in my dreams

Suppose to be slacking at home doing nothing, but the Corolla Altis is ready for test drive! My dad came home and ask me to join him as the sales agent called him up to test drive Over at the showroom, we waited awhile for the car to be ready and went around looking at the various models. The Corolla Altis is quite a good car, the engine is silent and powerful, but a little virbation when exceeding 60km/hr. After that, we went to see Toyota Primo, it's a parallel imported car, not available through Toyota authorized dealer. strange, why are they not importing such a fine car? Given a chance, I will choose this over the altis. But given a choice between Continental and Japanese cars, I will gladly take continental.

Went Ikea to shop for a new shoe rack after our car viewing. Treated my dad over at the restaurant. Just got my pay and it's my first time treating him. Ordered, meatballs (YUMMY!), cream of asparagus, pancakes and 2 cups of coffee. The cream of asparagus look kinda disgusting with its pale green color, but it taste great. After our tea break, we bought the shoe rack and decided to go Junction 8.

Junction 8 changed alot, my last time over there was in the month of May. Window shop around the stores after that went for dinner at the food court. Both of us ordered beef noodles. It just taste so fine with the taste of sesame oil. yummy!

Quite a long day for me. Trying to sleep early tonight. Might be joining my friend at the airport tomorrow, was asked to join Boss and gang for movie, but my friend asked 2 weeks before, so I guess I just give the priority to him.

December 03, 2003

woah, can't believe it, I actually spent 6 hours on Lord of the Ring: The Return of the King today. From the moment I woke up to my dinner. Excluding my toilet break and lunch of course. Completed the game, now I am going to be so bored without any new game. :(

Checked the rate for driving lesson, omg, at least $1200 if I enroll in a driving school. $54 for an hour of practical lesson, total madness. Oh yeah, friday will be the official launch for Corolla Altis. Maybe will go next week with my dad.

Not sure whether should I go out tomorrow, maybe will ask Ronald out to Orchard to shop.

ta ta.

December 02, 2003

Nothing much today. Was in front of my computer whole day long.

Playing a new game - Lord of the Ring: Return of the King. The game is so real to the movie. They extract part of the movie and place it in the game, which then you take on either one of the 3 main characters. One thing about this game is the difficulty. I usually play games at normal difficulty, but for this, even at easy, I couldn't complete. Finally a challenge, I say.

Asked by my friend to join him on Thursday at Changi Airport to welcome those WWE stars. Yucks, I hate WWE, it's so dumb. I was wondering what is he thinking when he actually told me that. Might join him, but not to welcome those WWE fakesters, but to surf internet with my laptop. Okay, this dumb, I can surf net at home, I know.

Chatted with Ricky on cars today. OH great, he got his driving license before me. Getting a license in Australia is much faster than Singapore. zzz. He might be getting a Nissan Pulsar (a.k.a. Sunny in Singapore). So we were arguing whether auto or manual gear is better. I think Singapore should abolish license for manual gear, why would someone prefer to drive a car that requires the constant changing of gears? Startup at gear 1, low speed gear 2, medium speed gear 3, cruising speed gear 5. I rather drive a auto car. Period.

December finally. Not really looking forward to it even though Christmas fall on December. So now I have 1 month more before school starts. Great. Gonna become crazy over the overwhelming projects and tutorial stuff.

Gonna make a cup of coffee now before continuing my game.

December 01, 2003

Normal sunday. My sisters are back today, as usual. My brother in law was back too. Helped him to copy some files to his CDR, needed for his sister's computer. One of my sister went off early as the husband need the car to play golf. Chatted with them about work and stuff. Nothing much to talk about.

Went off to SITEX in the late evening. Took a cab there as I am just too lazy to take bus and it's kinda late already. In the middle of the journey, I find myself quite uneasy, I usually have this feeling when I forgotten something. Sure enough, searched my pocket and found out I forgotten about my handphone. darn.

I hate it, can't contact my friend over there. I feel so lost without my handphone... Just can't live without it. Over at SITEX, bought Netgear 54mbps Wireless PC Card, much cheaper than on the first day. Also got 50 pieces of high end graded 700MB CDR and 5 pieces of audio graded CDR. Been 'burning' lots of CD nowadays, games, audio, anime and stuff. Just used up 10 pieces for my games.

Completed my shopping at 9 P.M. My friend asked me to wait for him so we can go home together, he told me he will be done at 9.30 P.M. Guess what, at 10 PM, he's still not out yet. Hungry and cold standing at the MRT isn't what I enjoy most. Couldnt even call him when all the public phones are used by indians calling back to their hometown... In the end, decided to go home without him. Over at Paya Lebar MRT, gave him a call, he's still at Expo MRT. -_-

Had a late dinner, never thought that I will be home so late... Thanks goodness my gastic pain didn't occur.

okie. ta ta.

November 30, 2003

Nothing to write about friday. Nothing exciting except for solving Ivan's computer problem.

Went SITEX (yea, again) today. Actually wanted to get Microsoft Office 2003 at the promotion price but reached there, the queue is like... never mind. Explore around the various booths and chatted with my friend who was working over at Lexmark. Spent about an hour there before going off. Anyway, I coming again tomorrow, the last day is when the vendors start their crazy price slashing. :)

Went marketing at Cold Storage. Bought lots of stuff, tit bits, M &M Peanut (yummy.) and my shaving blades. Darn, the shaving blades so expensive, $12 just for 3 pieces... totally nuts.

Work work work and more work. At least today is much better than the previous week, update crap and stuff, boring.

No wonder Ting Ping is having so much relationship problem. She sent me that guy photo, oh mine, he's so handsome. wahahaha. No wonder so many girls like him.

okie, going to play game. ta ta.

November 28, 2003

Received an wierd sms from a friend today. She asked me what am I doing now with her email included inside. I replied, "Just woke up, why did you include your email?". 30 min passed, 1 hour passed, 2 hours passed, 5 hours passed, no reply. lol. Wierd.

Played Gunbound for awhile after lunch and went to take a shower. Gonna meet Ivan at Singapore Expo to take back my telfon tape. Took a bus down to Tenah Merah MRT, it's those kind of special bus, it stops only at Tenah Merah MRT. Was listening to my discman (Christmas songs!) when I notice all the passengers getting down, I thought I reached the MRT and follow suit.

Take a look around and found out I actually get down 1 stop before the station. The weather is really nice anyway, don't mind walking down. The weather is cooling but with the sun shining brightly, I can feel the coldness of the wind and the warmth of the sun, somehow give me a feeling of the winter season.

Over at SITEX, called Ivan to ask where he is and went to find him. As usual, still so tanned. LOL, hope he's not reading this. Anyway, his mom appeared and I went off. Feel shy meeting parents of my friends, still remember that time at this girl's house, her mom just came home and I was so scare that she will enter the room, I mean, I was alone with her in the room, what if she think of ...erm... never mind.

woah, SITEX... so exciting, all the IT stuff. Went around with Ivan hunting for a headphone. He's loaded, bought a wireless router and a laptop. He went off shortly after his parents called him. Greeted his parents too. Anyway, there's this cute girl I met at Acer booth. She has a round face, at least 1.5m. She explained to me about the new acer laptop and stuff (Ivan should have buy that...).

Shortly after Ivan went off, Ronald, my friend came. He's applying broadband and followed him around the SingNet booth. We were sort of walking around the SingNet booth when this cute girl from Fujitsu booth approached us and said "oi, you all walk 1 round le, should come and see Fujitsu mah". Ronald and I was like, "eh...?" Then we said thanks and walk off. haha, she's very cute. She smiles at us after we walked past her again. Quite a nice girl.

There's so many things I gonna say about SITEX, but I guess people here are bored with my craziness for computers. heh.

Went back at 7 P.M. Parted way with Ronald at Paya Lebar MRT and took a bus home for dinner. Just in time for Gotcha. Skipped shopping with Ronald just becos of this. Gotcha is so funny!

okie, I going back to SITEX on saturday and sunday. Saturday to get the cheap Microsoft Office 2003 and sunday to buy all my stuff. The vendors usually offer great discounts on the last day. My wireless router actually costs $299, but I bought it at $199 at the last day. Hope Ivan won't regret buying his laptop on the first day. hehe.

Updated my background music to - Merry Christmas Everyone. This is the song which I like the most in my collection of Christmas songs.

November 26, 2003

Was suppose to sleep early yesterday, somehow, chatted with Ting Ping for an hour or so... Ended up tucking in at 4 and manage to fell asleep at 5 am. Chatted with her on relationship and stuff, didn't know I will be a great help on these and never expected her to share her problem with me.

It's car viewing time again... Woke up 10 A.M. early by my dad and started our journey. Went Toyota showroom first before going for lunch at Dunman Food Centre, it's somewhere near East Coast Road.

After lunch, we went Commonwealth to look at more cars... Spent the whole afternoon today solely on car viewing... I am so excited to drive a car, must get a license a.s.a.p next year.

Need to sleep early tonight, gonna go for SITEX tomorrow at Singapore Expo.... wee, computers, printers, digital cameras and laptops, I coming for you!

November 25, 2003

Decided to stop a day of blogging for yesterday and merge it with today blog. Nothing much happened yesterday, so might as well skip a day. heh.

Didn't do much today, starting to resume my sleeping late habit, slept at 4 A.M. and woke up at 1.30 P.M. Was chatting with Ronald and Meiling on the Malaysia backpack trip on the phone yesterday. Seriously need to get a new phone, it's irritating me with the selective tranmission of voice. I doubt the trip will be a success, by the time we manage to plan everything, the holiday will be over. Anyway, wish all my malay friends a Selamat Hari Raya.

AGGRH, missed "The Sound of Music", I thought the movie will be showing at night, turn up it's in the late afternoon. Switched my TV and find some wierd alien movie instead.

Oh my god, I eyeing the Canon digital camera... I am always a conservative person when it come to photography, preferring film camera over digital camera. I am rather surprise at my own urge for a digital camera. But frankly speaking, digital camera doesn't come close to film camera in term of picture quality, but the ability to preview your own shoots immediately unlike film camera which you have to develop the film. My photography investment is worth nine hundred dollars, consisting the camera, 24mm, 50mm, 70-210mm lens and motor drive. Should I abandon my current camera and go for digital camera? Hmm...

Invited by my friends to join them for a paintball match. Kinda expensive, but Abel was persuaded me to join them... should I? So many decisions to ponder on.

November 24, 2003

Woke up at 1 A.M. and decided to watch the last episode of the anime, the ending is quite touching almost wanted to cry.

My sisters are back today. One of them bought her photos from their holiday trip to Australia. Oh my, how I love the scenery of Australia. My brother-in-law even gave me a copy of their photos in CD.

Speaking of photos, I might be getting a new digital camera in the near future. Spent the afternoon doing some catching up with my sisters and talk about life etc. They bought some snack back for me too. Yummy.

Went out at night (9.30 P.M.) after my friends wanna go out and have a chat. Went Coffee Bean again. This time round, we didn't stay there, we drink it along the way down to Geylang Seri (Again...). Went there to see the Bazar, spent almost 2 hours there. We bought Ramly burgers and chicken wing and ate it at the provided tables along the bazar. Bring up the idea of going Genting in December, both of them were so excited. If this is finalized, this might be the first trip overseas with my friends.... wahahaha, very excited I am.

Parted with one of my friends since she is staying quite near. While the other guy, Ronald, went to the bus stop with me. Suddenly, my handphone rang. ah ha, it's my dad. Asked him to fetch me home since I might not make it for the last bus (It's 12.30 A.M.). Went to the bus stop with Ronald and waited for my dad. Ronald wanna hitch a ride home, so I asked my dad. This isn't the first time Ronald took a ride back home in my dad's car, anyway, I just ask my dad out of politeness and respect, can't possible make him look like my personal chauffeur ya? Seriously, he don't mind fetching my friends home. He's a great daddy. hehe.

Reached home at 1 A.M. Had a round of Gun Bound with Boss after bathing. Right now typing away at my blog. Going to sleep. ta ta.

November 23, 2003

Went Sim Lim Square today straight after lunch. Rushed there in a cab, was late for an appointment. Suppose to collect something I bought over the internet. Didn't buy anything today, just went there to collect my stuff and chat with my friend who was working there. Went to take a look at the Panasonic digital cameras at the Panasonic fair at the 1st level, impressive built, but feature and quality wise, I think Nikon and Canon still have an edge over them. Why did they spent so much on advertisement (that Ayumi - Jap pop star)? Shouldn't they spend it on R&D? haha, crapping too much today.

After Sim Lim Square, crossed the road and went OG to take a look at the Billabong t shirts, no new arrival, sigh. Quite a lot of people at OG.

Grabbed a Mcpepper and ice lemon tea over at Bugis McDonald, not really hungry, just wanted to have something to chew on, the double layer of beef is heavenly! Over at SingTel's Hello Shop, there's a promotion for cordless DECT phone, should ask my parents to get one, my home phone isn't functioning normally. Anyway, DECT phone are better compared to normal cordless phone, they uses digital signal instead of analog.

Went the bookstore at 3rd floor, nothing much that interests me, wanted to buy this book - "Fengshui master gone south". It's a story about this Fengshui master who have an interest on crime scene and blah blah blah, oh yea, i forgotten the details.

Walk around Seiyu before boarding a bus home.

Hectic schedule today. Lots of job assignment to be completed. Luckily its holiday now, if not, I don't think I can manage it. My studies till now, haven't really been affected by my work, at least, judging from my result. If this continues, I might have to give it up for my studies. At least the puny salary doesn't affect me.

Don't know what had got into me. I got quite emotional just now after watching anime. It's rather saddening, so many characters in the anime got killed. Now left with the final episode, I am hesitating on whether should I watch or not. I know the ending will be extremely saddening, I might cry. Just like that time when I watch AI: Artificial Intelligence . I cried throughout the whole show. One reason why I hate to watch drama, I can't bring myself to face the ending, might be skipping the last episode of Holland V.

ta ta, going off to sleep.

P.S. Changed the background music, hope you like it.

November 21, 2003

Was happily replying to my sister's sms when she asks me what I want for Christmas when I receives "Message sending failed". Just then my handphone vibrates, I select "Read" and I almost get a shock. "Exam Results for .... ". Didn't really expect the result to be sent today, but oh well. Nothing much to talk about, I just read through the results nonchalantly.

Informed my friends about the release of the results, helped one of them to check, but the Temasek Polytechnic website was sort of displaying a server busy error. Invalid login even with the correct userID and password combination.

Completed Max Payne 2 while waiting for the website to be ready. Got disturbed by my friend while playing, AGGRH, hate being disturbed in the middle of the game. So I helped him to check, his results quite okie, not that bad from what he told me.

Watched anime whole day long after completing Max Payne 2. Think I need something to pass the holiday by, almost completing my anime.

ta ta.

November 20, 2003

Was asked out by Ronald to see the Body parts exhibition. But I declined his offer, been going out these few days, need a break at home.

Played Max Payne 2: The fall of Max Payne all day long. It's a great game, good graphics and storyline. But as usual, when I play RPG (Role-Playing Game) I will get a headache. So took a break in between.

Went to collect anime CDs in the late afternoon. Walked about 3 bus stops distance to meet this fella to collect. After that, went Heartland Mall to do some shopping. Went Popular and MyEDB to look at books and magazines. Nothing interesting. At Cold Storage, bought chicken (my mom told me to...), Calbery's Chocolate powder, Ruffles chips and Campbell's New England Clam Chowder soup.

Right now slipping a cup of chocolate drink. 3 teaspoons of condensed milk, 3 teaspoons of Calbery's chocolate powder and a mug of hot water will do the trick. Yummy.

November 19, 2003

Went car viewing with my dad today again. Woke up 10 A.M. and went 2 different showroom to look around.

Bought lunch back home and went off shortly after finishing my lunch. My dad had lunch outside as he need to attend to his own stuff. Hop on a bus and went Paya Lebar MRT to meet Meiling and Ronald. Going Ikea to shop around.

Quite a long journey walking from Queenstown MRT to Ikea building. All 3 of us grab the hotdog set with drink. Hey its cheap, $1.50 will get you a hotdog and 1 small drink. Started our shopping from the 1st floor, Meiling was looking around at photo frames, while Ronald was simply amazed at the lightings. Well, for me, I more interested in kitchen stuff. Those tea cup set kinda tempting, heh. Anyway, we saw Chan Liping (Holland V) and her husband. She doesn't look that fat in real life.

We went the 2nd floor and Ronald started to get so interested in computer desk. He can't decide on which to get, keep on asking both of our opinion but still wish to keep to his own choice. Xian Zhi and Regine joined us soon after. I think everyone of us wanna bash Ronald or something, he really can't make up his mind. Finally we went to Ikea cafe to take a break. Hey, the food there is simply amazing! I ordered Prawn salad, mango juice and a large plate of meatballs (15). The prawn salad is more of prawn with salad rather then salad with prawn. The whole bowl i think there's about 20 prawns and only a few vegtables. The meatballs are superb! It consists of pork and beef and the cranberry jelly with the sauce topping go well with the meatballs. Yummy! I am coming back for more! wahahaha.

Went back 1st floor to collect Ronald's desk. Took 2 tealight candle holders and a packet of red candles. Going to burn them every night, ho ho, christmas is coming! Oh well, Ronald having second thoughts again. He keep on switching the desk he took eariler on. Mind you, it weights 10 kg and 20 kg for the different computer desks which he's interested. Finally he make up his mind. AGGRH.

At the end of the day, we parted with ronald as he need to take a cab home with his desk while the 3 girls and I took the same bus home. I'm the only one that need to transfer bus while all 3 of them don't have to. Lucky fellas. Listened to my Christmas songs on my way home.

okie, gonna play Max Payne 2 and watch CSI at the same time. goodbye.
Woke up at 12 P.M. today, a slight improvement from the daily 2 P.M.

Helped Daniel's friend on her computer today. At first, I am able to solve the first problem, after that, the second problem seems to cause her computer to be unable to access the internet. after I offered my solution. Have to help her over the phone, but I am kinda shy talking to a stranger, especially female, so my friend acted as the middleman and help us pass message. Couldn't really help her, cos at first she doesn't want to use the Remote Assistance feature, she scare I am a hacker or something, so I am unable to get to the bottom of it. Anyway, my friend said she has a nice voice. heh.

After helping her, I was late for my appointment with my friends at Coffee Bean at 9.30 P.M. Reached there at 9.35 P.M. ordered the Christmas mint coffee ice blended (Forgotten the name) and a piece of "My mom's scone". Hey the coffee is great! Highly recommended! Meiling's brother look like a mini businessman. Well, he will be collecting his PSLE result this Saturday, wish him luck.

Went Geylang Seri bazar with them later on. Like a mini Chinatown during Chinese New Year, lots of foodstuff and so on. Bought Ramly burgers for my family. I thought I am late for the last bus since I arrive at the bus stop at 12 AM sharp but it turn up otherwise. While waiting for the bus, saw this 2 Caucasian guys, one of them, his boxer is showing up and his T shirt is like so short, yucks. It's brown in color. (Sorry for the details, haha).

Now I am munching on my Ramly burger, yummy.

November 17, 2003

Think I am suffering from insomnia, only manage to sleep at around 4 a.m. when I tucked in 15 min earlier. My biological clock is messed up totally by the late night sleep, will try to sleep before 2 a.m. today.

Didn't went swimming today with Daniel, something cropped up at home. Nothing serious though, just wanna stay at home to ensure everything is going fine. Was in a Christmas mood today (that explain the Christmas song playing in the background), greeting everyone in MSN Messenger with my laughter, haha.

Did nothing much today, went around disturbing friends in MSN Messenger, surfing hardware forums, playing gunbound and watching TV. Learnt some new German words from my mom today over dinner, still trying to learn. Both my mom and my sister speaks German. Learning a new language is so fun! Except for Chinese.

Might be going out with Chan Hui tomorrow to watch "Identity". But somehow, I got a feeling I might come up with a stupid reason to miss the appointment. Just feel like staying at home.

If you have noticed, there's a small section on the left titled "Currently listening". This image will tell you what I am singing currently on my computer, the image changes real time, which mean it is accurate. But if the song remain unchanged, it means I not listening to any music. Kinda cool huh?

November 16, 2003

AGGRH... couldn't blog yesterday. Apparently Singnet underwater pipeline to the US was cut off (Think of this large optic-fiber lines under the sea). Couldn't play gunbound, blog, surf international websites, etc. Just stuck with local websites, good idea, support local talent?

Yesterday was my first day of work after taking a 3 weeks break for my projects and exams. Thinking back, I still prefer rushing for my projects or slack at home in my bed watching TV all day long. The pay (allowance?) is so puny that I think I might quit after a few months more.

For those who are curious, I am working as a website updater for a major IT website.

Lousy sunday. At least one of my sister is back, someone to talk to. She bought lunch for me and chatted a while before she went to read The Sunday Times. Was playing her Sony Ericsson T610 mobile, been eyeing this model for quite a while, but with the release of the new Samsung (SGH-E700) and Nokia (6600), I am keeping my options open. Anyway, my sister gave me her new name card, the texture kinda "plastic". Maybe I will scan the card if there's a demand here.

Watched "Star Wars" just now, switched over to the Channel 8 when the show ended, it's some gambling movie, those revenge stuff. Guess what, Shuqi acted in it, don't really like her.

Going swimming tomorrow with Daniel, haven't swim since the start of O level. Let's hope I haven't lost my touch yet.

That's it. ta ta.

November 15, 2003

Helped Faith with her blog till kinda late, so woke up 2PM in the afternoon. Well, must agree that her blog certainly look better with the 2 Clay Aiken photos.

Decided to clean my house air cons today. Not an easy task having to carry the ladder to each air cons to remove the filters and clean it. Not to mention having to clean the cooling fins.

Anyone getting CDRW? There's a promotion tomorrow, a TDK 52x24x48 CDRW retailing at $59, I think usual price is around $80? There's more, Philips soundcards at $18, Microsoft Optical desktop (Keyboard and mouse) at $38. Interested? Can join me tomorrow, might be going if I manage to wake up early.

November 13, 2003

Guess what? Met Mayvis and her boyfriend while on my way down from Plaza Singapura Golden Village to Carrefour. I wanted to say Hello Mayvis, but ended up calling her Michelle. It been like only 1 week and I already forgotten their names.

Anyway, watched "Wishing Stairs" with monkey and Abel. Thought the whole gang will be there, but ended up most of them are busy, so left the 3 of us. Could only get tickets for the first row, kinda hard to view the screen from the first row. Not as scary as I thought. There's homosexuality involved in this show, between the 2 lead actress. There's this particular group of girls screaming away even when the scene isn't scary at all, everyone was laughing away at them, haha.

After the show, went Suntec with them. They are going to attend to some church stuff while I follow them for awhile before going for my dinner alone. After they went off, I went Tower Records and shop around, viewing at CDs, magazines and so on. Bought "The Hunt for Red October". It's a movie about this russia submarine - red october.

Went Suntec food court for dinner. Dinner was, pig organs soup. It been quite a while since I last ate this. Think it was like 6 years?

After dinner, walked to Carrefour to do some shopping. Bought Neutrogena Anti Residue shampoo, coasters for my mug (always leaving ugly stains on my table), Wasabi coated green pea (oh my god, i love this!), instant noodles, mashed potato mix and clothes hanger (for my mom).

Yeah, Christmas is finally approaching! Which mean, my birthday is approaching too! wahaha, looking forward to my christmas log cake, turkey, beef, oh my god, i can't wait for christmas. Must get ready my collection of christmas CDs.

Modifed my computer to be a Mac computer. Look kinda nice, take a look here.

November 12, 2003

Overslept. Suppose to go Bugis with Tian Nee, Jesslyn and Ivan, but wake up like half an hour before the time we suppose to meet, so might as well just stay at home.

Think my holiday is going to spend on Gunbound... Been playing Gunbound to kill time. Was wondering whether should I join the Kaykating STAR 1 Course, doubt my friends will be excited, maybe I just give it a miss.

Tomorrow gonna watch "Wishing Stair" with my friends, really looking forward to this. Had quite a fine day watching "Matrix Matharon" with them.

Anyway, the advertisement song for the "Estee Lauder" perfume kinda nice. Anyone know the name of that song?

Was wondering should I change my blog address and give it to a selected few? This blog was suppose to be a private website meant for a selected few. Well, people like George (uh opps.), Adeline, Ron, Regine and Ling Zi sure get themseleves a ticket to this selected few. Hey you people, thanks for reading my blog regularly.

Shall continue blogging tomorrow, hooked on the television watching "Charmed".

There is no spoon. - The Matrix

November 11, 2003

Suppose to go test drive car with my dad but he went back office without informing me, oh well...

Forced to wake up this morning by my friend. He wanted to play Gunbound and wanted me to join him, he went off after I come online. Think he got annoyed from waiting for me, lol.

Was about to change the mouse feet when I recall my telfon tape is with Ivan. Which mean I have to wait 2 months more when school starts to take it back from him.... oh no....

Guess I just slack around at home for a while before going off at night with my parents for my brother-in-law's sister wedding.

Chatted with Ting Ping in the afternoon. Have quite a long and nice chat with her. I think it been quite a while since I last chatted with her. Talked about life, school, friends etc.

Back from the wedding dinner. The 9 course dinner is quite ok, not too bad. The restaurant kinda small for 50 over tables, but overall, the environment is still quite attractive, there's silver ballons all over the restaurant's ceiling, which I think is kinda cool.

Reached home around midnight after sending my brother-in-law and sister back.

Guess what? Gonna play Gunbound now. Wee~
OH GREAT! THIS IS SO DAMN DAMN F**KING GREAT!

I got blamed for everything, every god damn issue.

Now take a look at this freaking statement,
*censored* says:
he selfish
*censored* says:
dun wan book

This is the rude shock I received when forced to woke up from my sleep.

EVERYONE JUST KEPT ASKING ME "wHEN ARE YOU BOOKING", "BOOKED?"

And guess what's the joke? No one paid up.

Now I am accused for being selfish for not booking? Selfish for coming up with this class chalet thingy? Selfish when no one pays me the money?

SO BE IT. I AM WASHING MY HAND OFF THIS.

November 10, 2003

Boring day.

Spent the afternoon playing game and crapping with my friend, Ricky.

Somehow got addicted to Gunbound. Played quite a few rounds of match with my friends. It's quite fun, saving enough money to get a shirt.

Think the chalet will be a disappointment. Practically no one is paying up, so far, I think only 1/3 of the class population paid. Since they are not willing, why should I bother?

Adios, Gunbound again.

November 09, 2003

OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!

I can't believe it! I found 2 of my primary school friends in friendster!

OH MINE! How they evolve from a young little girl to such a fine beautiful lady!

I am full of envy for them...

Sigh, those were the days... I yearn the good ol' days of primary and secondary school life.

November 08, 2003

Matrix revolution, 2 thumbs up for it!

Met my friends at Somerset MRT, on oue way to Marche at The Hereen, we guys do quite a lot of catching up, just like the good ol' days in Secondary school. Due to the long queue over at Marche, we guys went to some crepe restaurant at the top level for dinner.

Ordered Poached Salmon. This is the restaurant I won't recommend if you are in a rush although the service is good. The drinks took 10 min to serve, the soups 30min and the main dish 45 min. Chatted over dinner and have quite a lot of fun.

Walked down to Plaza Singapura. On our way, met this girl which all of us know, well, she changed quite a lot, to "positive outrageous"? Don't know what happened, but everyone seems so generous willing to pay for food and stuff, quite scary when you are buying something and so many people volunteering to pay for you...

During the first show (The Matrix), those bunches of rowdy Caucasians kept shouting stupid remarks and even dance at the front of the screen during the interval break. Maybe they are born like this, oh yucks.

I met this female Caucasian, which I believe is a Briton. It's simply (one sided) love at first sight. She has those gentle eyes, the more I think of it, the more my heart ponder for her. Met her twice, during the 2nd interval break when collecting the breakfast and at the ground floor outside 7-11....

After the Matrix Revolution, most of us are totally busted. Most went off, while 2 of my friends and I went MacDonald at Plaza Singapura for breakfast cos they want to wait for the bank to open or something.

Reached home at around 10.30am, the snail-like bus was moving so SLOW that my legs almost wanted to give up. Took a 3 hrs nap before watching anime and fell asleep (again) for another 4 hours.

Aye, misses the good ol' days.

November 07, 2003

Boring Afternoon, Exciting Night.

Going off for dinner at Mache now and watching Matrix Marathon (The Matrix + Matrix Reloaded + Matrix Revolution) tonight. The show will start at 11.30PM until 6AM.

*Gone*

November 06, 2003

Wasn't feeling well after lunch when I was just about to leave the house for my last paper - Computer Systems. My stomach just got this odd sensation, gastric pain?

Reached in school about 10 min and met Boss on the way. Oh well, he's complaining about how hard the previous papers were and never study for today exams and blah blah blah...

I can't believe it, Computer Systems MCQ is damn freaking easy. I spent like less than 5 min for the MCQ. For the structure questions, I think it's average. Not that easy and not that hard. Simply love this question, "How does SCSI Differ from USB and parallel in term of connection", Ans: "SCSI unlike USB does not offer a simple method of daisy chaining devices, a therminal is needed to be done on each individual devices to identify each device as unique for data transfer."

Went off 1.5 hrs early after completing the paper. The girls actually wanted to go Mache for celebration, but Sharon wanted to go somewhere nearer. I know somehow this is not going to work, so I went ahead to Tampines Mall while waiting for them to give me a call since they told me they are going Tampines Mall too.

Bought CDR over at Challenger and went for a haircut (again). Meanwhile, received a message from Michelle informing me they going to Pizza Hut at Hougang... declined their offer and went ahead with my own plan.

After haircut, went KFC for my own celebration. Was playing with my chicken when Boss appeared out of nowhere giving me a fright. Almost throw the chicken at him, WAHAHA. He actually invited me before the exam to join him and his friend for pool, but rejected him. Ok, he's doing it again, telling me how hard the CMSY paper is and how he is going to fail and take sup paper and blah blah blah.... If he continues on, I would have throw my drumstick at him.

Well, guess today will be the last day for the class of TB030 since next year we will get separated. Gonna miss Han, Peter and Faith, Boss, Nadia, Sharon, Michell, Ivan, Jesslyn, Tian Nee, Alan and many more...

Going to watch "Kill Bill" now. Adios.

November 05, 2003

Today Internet and Information Systems in Organisation paper is totally screwed up. There's so many questions which I am unsure of.... My answers are filled with crap. Don't wanna into details, just kinda sad over it.

Don't really what to say about Faith. Pure luck? Haha, think she will understand when she read this.

Went for a late lunch with Peter, Faith and Ivan. Gee... my first time seeing Faith behaving so blissful, maybe becos of eh.... this someone?

Nothing much to talk about today. Maybe I am just tired, there's one more paper to go...

Maybe I will go for a haircut after the last paper.

Computer Systems, here I come...

November 04, 2003

Today is the day. The day for my Macro Economics paper.

Always have mixed feelings for this subject. This is the one and only subject which I didn't get a pass during the mid term test. All my other subjects are like A grade until this subject came along and make me a fool. I understand what the lecturer is teaching during lectures and I know how to do the tutorials and stuff. When it comes to test/exam, my mind is just a blank.

Sounds depressing eh? Continue reading below.

Reached school like 8.40AM and met Jesslyn and Tian Nee on the way. Quite surprised to see some of my fellow classmates still outside the classroom. People like, Han, Faith, Boss and Ivan. Well, maybe they are awaiting for my arrival.

When I flipped through the questions, I was like, OMG? Economic growth rate? This is the only formulae in the Inflation chapter which I didn't pay much attention to... Didn't think much about it as this isn't the first questions. After completing the MCQs, I decided to do some backward calculation to find the solution and BINGO! I got the correct answer.

I was SO HAPPY after that paper. I am quite assured that I will get more than a pass for this. Especially the last question on the transmission mechanism. Anyway, I bet everyone is happy with the paper. Especially faith who mentioned about it in her blog.

Wanted to have lunch outside the school but Jesslyn and Tian Nee wish to have lunch in Business school. Oh well, maybe they misses the western food uncle with his "Chicken cutlet one!".

After lunch, decided to go supermarket to get some comfort food to prepare myself for IISO. This is the only subject which you can't find any help from textbook. Overslept on the bus again... usual place as yesterday. Ang Mo Kio Interchange... about 20 stops away from my house. Sigh, must be too tired.

IISO, sigh, here I come.

November 03, 2003

My dad woke me up quite early this morning. Manage to do some mail checking and grab those energy food (Weider) before leaving the house.

Thought I will be late for exams, the bus is moving so slow. Oh well, but managed to make it in time before the reading time allowance. Don't think I will do as well as my Business Accounting test, but i think should be able to squeeze a pass for it.

Enough of the exams stuff, so depressing.

Went for lunch with Peter, Jesslyn, Tian Nee and Ivan at Tampines Mall. Was still thinking about my paper over lunch. I think I made quite a lot of careless mistakes... This is so perplexing, sigh.

I can't believe I do it again... Overslept while on my way home... This time, it's isn't just 1 or 2 stops... I overslept until the last stop - Interchange... Good thing that the bus arrived when I reached the interchange. The weather is going to melt me or something...

Home as quiet as usual... Just couldn't bring myself to bath and start my preparation for econs. Played online game for about 2 hours before my headache starts to hurt. Been having headache since last month... Guess even Prozac couldn't help me much. Must be the weather of something...

How I wish I could travel alone, my parents doesn't feel safe with me traveling alone. My sister went London alone at the age of 19 and I doubt they will allow even when I reach that age. Biased? Naw, been thinking too much. Vienna shall be the first place to visit once I am old enough. Long way to go...

The headache is killing me... I can't read my econs with the pain piercing through my head.... AGGRH. Popped 2 panodols down, hope all is well for now.

November 02, 2003

Somehow, I have a weird feeling for my business accounting paper. My seat number is "666". Doesn't bore well for me, it's satanic... Hope I can manage to get a pass for this....

Went through the P&L and balance sheet formats today, didn’t really do much studying today.

Went for dinner with my family at Thai Express. My sister drove us there in her recently bought Nissan Sunny. The ride is quite stable, but I believe European cars should be much stable as the car body are usually much more solid built compared to Japanese cars. Okie, enough of my craze about cars.

Well, the service over at Thai Express isn't that impressive, perhaps this the reason why there's no service charge. I love the Bangkok Chicken Rice which my mom ordered also my sister's soft shell crab with some reddish sauce. Mine doesn't taste that good, South Thailand Beef Curry. The curry tasted like some peanut sauce, but I love the mint leaves they added in.

Went marketing after that at Cold Storage. Took shampoo, noodles, sweets and stuff for myself. My dad fetched us home instead of my sister as she went off early. Inside the car, discussed with my dad on cars again. So hard to reach a conclusion. sigh.

Not going to burn any midnight oil tonight. Guess I just tuck in early tonight and go through the notes again in the bus. Looking forward to the end of my examinations - Thursday.

November 01, 2003

Went on a Friendster testimonial adding mood, spent almost 1 full hour adding and viewing my friends’ profile.

Not that productive today. Was surfing Friendster and chatting on MSN.... Till now, I only manage to complete half the past year paper... I must complete it by tonight no matter what... my revision for IISO and CMSY is still waiting for me to get started.

Listening to Mozart - Four Seasons, the full movement and piece (I suppose?). It lasted almost 1 hour... Using it as a time gauge, once the piece finished playing, 1 hour is gone.

Better stop blogging now, back to work.

October 31, 2003

Suppose to study with Boss and Ivan for business accounting. Oh well, both wanted to study at different location and me, have to decide on either one of their choices. Spent almost 1 hour on choosing the location. Rather study at home in this case, told them maybe not going and parted the chat. Back to square one, any problem just message Boss.

Trying to resist any temptation. Switched off the air con to prevent myself from falling asleep. Left the door wide opened so that my family members can check on me. Switched MSN Messenger on my desktop instead of my laptop to stop myself from chatting. Well, my laptop is still on my study desk, that's why I can type my blog.

After staying up late for this week, my ageing process has accelerated. My skin started to sag, I became much thinner (even after the late night supper), my back arched, my face wrinkled and grow sores, my head almost balding and hair growing all over my face. I am becoming a caveman... oh no, I am going crazy.

Listening to a Mozart piece, Requiem with all the business accounting stuff whizzing in my mind - Accrued revenue and expense, prepaid expense, unearned revenue, provision for doubtful debt, depreciation and control account. Used to be my favourite subject, now it seems to be so alien to me...

Watched anime to relax myself... In the anime, there's this girl who manipulate this guy using love as a medium. I feel sad for him at the same time, annoyed by the girl's action. Does this happen in real life? If it does, then true love must be precious. Silly me, getting touchy over an anime.

Ahh... the wonders of friendster. My friend added me even though we seldom contact each another since 4 years ago. Think at that time she doesn't have a good impression of me... Quite naughty when I was young.

How I look forward to my birthday and Christmas. Sigh. Back to my studies for now.

October 30, 2003

Cool, 3 days left and I just started on my revision on Business Accounting. Not to mention I need the other 2 days for my IISO and CMSY. Read through the accounting notes yesterday, everything seems so easy during lectures and tutorials, now all the topics lumped together, it looks so alien to me...

Was reading The Straits Times, noticed there's a Orchestra concert at the Esplanade. It's the Charles Dutoit and Akiko Suwanai with The UBS Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra. It's founded by UBS (Union Bank of Switzerland). Well, it's next week after my exams, should I or should I not?

Went through the business accounting past year paper. Completed the MCQs, quite ok, just 2 or 3 questions which I can't figure out... Thanks to Boss, he helped me in solving it through MSN Messenger... helpful fella yea?

Thinking whether to go back school to study tomorrow. Was asked by my friend to go back to teach her CMSY... Haven't even started my revision on this subject, how am I going to teach others? Let's just see whether can I wake up tomorrow.

October 29, 2003

Studied for 2 hours and couldn't concentrate anymore. The economics theories are killing me... So many stuff to remember....

Was in the midst of my study when my friend messege me asking me whether I want to study together with the old gang at the Airport. Sounds great, but the idea of leaving the comfort of my bed some how put me off. Told him I will message him if I am going... and from here, I fall asleep...zzz.

Study time again.

October 28, 2003

Rainy weather, what a wonderful time to sleep till the late afternoon, alas, I have to study for my exams.

It sudden comes to my mind that, Monday is actually the last day of school, might not be able to see my fellow classmates during the examinations period. From July until now, it's already 4 months. We might not be together in the next sem, so saddening.

Replaced the background music to Xi Shui Chang Liu, it's a chinese song about friendship.

Received a call from Call Search (1900-777-7777). They giving me free membership cos' I been using their service regularly. Wierd. But since its free, who cares?

Quite productive today, went through quite a few topics in Econs, might be able to complete it by tonight.

Looking forward to a class gathering at GV Plaza next friday. Watching Matrix Marathon at Golden Village, they are showing "The Matrix", "Matrix Reload" and "Matrix Revolution". From 11.30pm to next day 6am.... cool eh?

October 27, 2003

Late late late and late again. Was late for my Econs revision lecture as I slept at 4am in the morning. Rushed to school, but decided not to enter the lecture hall, just don't dare to enter cos' I am alone and there will be so many pair of eyes staring at me once I enter the hall.

Was studying outside the lecture hall when AC, Michelle and Peter came. Entered the hall together with them, at least there's 3 of us together. Happened to see this girl which I know outside Poly. She changed quite a lot, more attractive in my opinion. Anyway, she's from Law and Management.

Went through Inflation and Exchange rate today. Thanks to Han for lending me his notes to copy for the part where I missed. Anyway, borrowed IISO notes from my friend to photocopy, just too plain lazy to print the notes at home.

Studied at the sofa area at the staff level. It's quite cramp over there, can't believe that Peter went to push the sofa from some faraway place. Just hope that no one notice us and report or something.

Couldn't concentrate much while studying in school. Maybe that's due to the fact that I didn't check my mail this morning as I am rushing to school. Always feel strange when I didn't check my mail. Left the school when my friends decided they have enough for the day.

Went Tampines Mall with the usual peeps, Tian Nee, Jesslyn and Ivan. Ivan bought a new pair of Converse shoes, the design is cool, love the cloth texture. Very tempting....

"Tea break" was at PastaMania. Ordered the Bacon Aglio, Ivan ordered the Marinaia or somthing like this while the 2 girls ordered Tiramisu. Did something silly over there. I took one of the pocket menu and grade the food which I ate, so next time when I'm back, I will know what's nice and yucks.

Seriously need to revise the way I spend "my" money. Well, it's not exactly my money, I don't receive monthly allowance unlike most of my peers, I shares a joint account with my parents. I been spending quite a lot recently, maybe I should do some financial planning. Speaking of finanical planning, I think Temasek Polytechinc offers a subject on this. Maybe I should go check it out after my examinations.

Changed the background music to play only once instead of looping as one of my reader finds the music "ugly". Colorful expression, isn't it? haha. A little clue on who she is, she's a mushroom.

Didn't hold my camera for quite a while ever since I entered Polytechnic. Maybe I will go Orchard during the Dec to snap at those colorful lightings. Somehow, I always love December. Not because it's a school holiday, I just couldn't give an explaination for this feeling. It's the month when I met her. Well, there's more, but don't want to reveal so much about myself. I am kinda secretive yea?

Listening to Han's online radio. He makes quite a fine DJ. Maybe he should join Mass Comm, who knows? Maybe he might be the next Glenn Ong in making.

Just something interesting to share with everyone reading my blog. Next time, don't pronounce can't as erm, the way singaporean pronounce it. If your boss is an american, he's gonna laugh his head off. We pronounce it as "cunt", and you know the meaning is.... well, go check it out yourself. The correct way should be "can" with a silent "T" behind.

Gonna study for my econs. So long, goodbye.

October 26, 2003

Started watching anime on my bed the moment I woke up. One good thing about a laptop, portability. Don't know what's wrong with Kaaza, downloading speed was so slow. Must be RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).

It's a boring sunday, worsen by the approaching examinations. Somehow, I have a feeling I won't be doing well for it. Wanted to study in the late afternoon, but got a headache, so watched anime instead of studying.

Pancakes, yummy. After watching anime, went down to my kitchen and started making pancakes. Filling for the pancakes are mashed banana. How heavenly.

Went back to my room and the headache is back again. Decided to take a short nap which turn up to be 3 hours. It was already 9.30pm when I woke up. At least I am feeling better now. Have a quick dinner and went to bath soon after.

Really need to study, muted my laptop sound and ignoring my handphone alerts. Nothing can disturb me now, will check my ICQ, MSN Messenger and IRC when I am free.

Listening to classical pieces by Fredric Chopin now. I like the Prelude in E Minor Opus 28 No. 4 most. Here’s what I think about this piece. A fake sense of happiness in the melody of sadness is portrayed through the almost identical notes. It evokes a sense of self consciousness in the listener (me).
Forced myself up to go back school for IISO and CMSY revision. Well, not much of a revision, just going through the exams format and some important chapters. Was late, so attended only 10min of IISO before going for breakfast with the class.

After CMSY lecture, Richard actually chatted with my class! Well, he worked in NSC before embarking on a teaching job. He doesn't have a good impression on the BIT cohort though. Said we lack discipline or something like this.

Was pulled away from the lecture hall by Boss and Jesslyn, they can't stand Richard I suppose. Anyway, Jesslyn left early due to some appointment. So there's Tian Nee, Boss and Me. So on our way to Tampines Mall for lunch, we took the same bus as the gang of Michell and Han. HAHA!, Sharon get caught for attempting to take a free ride on the bus. Wee, majority of the class going to play LAN games at Hougang. Wanted to join them, but couldn't bring myself to abandon Tian Nee and Boss. I am afterall, a very loyal friend.

Lunch was at Pizza Hut. As usual, Boss as at his "so generous" self. He treated us Pizza hut, couldn't decline his offer cos' I do not have ready cash, unless I use my plastic.

Parted way with Tian Nee as she's on her way to meet her friend. So Boss and me roams about Tampines Mall and Century square. We went scouting for my MD recorders and his earphones. Finally he settled for the earphones over at Challenger.

Been troubled by family problem since last week. Though this doesn't really concern me, but as a brother, I am affected in a way or so. This is something so serious that I can't even tell my closest friend. Let's hope I can fully concentrate on my exams for now. I pray to God to protect my family from harm and let this ordeal be over as quick as possible. amen.

October 24, 2003

Left my desktop and laptop on for the whole night after falling asleep right in front of my laptop. Gosh, wake up at 8am and switched off everything.

Unproductive day for me. Didn't do much studying. Went out in the afternoon to Clementi to pass stuff to someone. On the trip toward there, saw Han's secondary school. Kinda big.

Took long bus trip down to Sim Lim after that. Scouting around for MD recorders' price and window shopping on computer parts. Feel kinda wierd leaving the place without buying anything. Going to get my MD recorder next month after saving enough money.

Bought myself a Billabong T shirt. Oh my, the queue was so LONG... Spent almost 10 min waiting to pay up for my t shirt. Went Cold Storage to get myself a pancake mix, gonna make pancakes, yummy. Let's hope the maple syrup at home is still usable.

Just receive an international call on my handphone. At first, I thought it's my relatives from Hong Kong SAR, but checked the country code just now, it's +81, which belongs to Japan. Who can that be? Strange.

Going to do some reading on my macro economics now.

October 23, 2003

Was thinking of whether to attend for the replacement lesson for Business Accounting today since I didn't turn up due to project on monday. Finally make up my mind not to attend, since my attendance has always been full, one absent won't do much harm. So I was happily going around the lab poking at everyone's computers when Faith asked me to join her for Business Accounting. Well, how can I reject a girl's request?

Today class and my actual class have so much differences. Mrs Tong treated them better than our class! Well, since today is the last lesson, shouldn't complain anymore about her.

Went for a quick lunch with Faith after Business Accounting. Need to rush for Computer Systems tutorial after lunch, turn up 10 min late. Richard Lim doesn't appear to be in a good mood. His expression after Tian Nee plugged out the projector was so CUTE! Those kind of expression when you are pissed off and still trying to laugh. Should have bring a camera to capture that moment.

Seriously, I don't know why does people think that you are busybody when you are seriously concern for someone. Something bad happened to my friend's loved one. I treated her more than a friend, she sort of like a elder sister to everyone. When I asked my friends why she leave early during the Computer Systems tutorial, they give me those "mind your own business" expression. Anyway, she told me what happened. I wish her loved one a speedy recovery and good health.

Was on the way home with Ivan when we talked about some stuff. If I am the one who is causing the misunderstanding, I am really sorry, but I am not. Well, those who know what I am speaking should understand. Nothing much to explain about.

Just finished the apple strudel I bought with Ivan after we went for a short window shopping at Century Square and Tampines Mall.

okie, gonna stop here for my dinner.

Shall continue tomorrow, holiday, wee~
Just to mark my presence from Silicon Lab in Temasek Polytechnic.

Completed Activity Flow Disgram and Information Flow Diagram, nothing much to do now. Surfing the internet for mini disc recorder.

Should I go for Business Acconuting or should I not? Hmmm....

Strong and carefree I seems to be, but vulnerable and troubled I am.

Any song from "Bread" describing what I am feeling now.

Lost Without Your Love by David Gates,

Lost and all alone.
I always thought that I could make it on my own.
But since you left I hardly make it thought the day.
My tears get in the way, and I need you back to stay.

I wonder through the night
Search the world for the words to make it right.
All I want is the way it used to be
with you here holding me.
I've got to make you see,
that I'm lost with out your love.
Life without you isn't worth the trouble of.
I'm as helpless as a ship without a wind,
a touch without a feel
I can't believe its real
and someday I'll wake and find my heart won't have to break.

Yes, I'm lost with out your love.
Life without you isn't worth the trouble of.
All I want is the way it used to be
I need you here with me.
Oh darling can't you see,
If we had love before we can have it back once more..

October 22, 2003

Didn't study much for this week, must stop going out from this week. Mug, mug and more mugging.

Business Accounting lecture, went through last year paper, understand the subject well, just to memorize the formatting and stuff. Was talking while listening to the lecture, feeling kinda guilty.

I think that I am a good "multi tasker". Since young, I have been doing my studies in front of the TV. I can study for my exams with music (not loud music of course, classical music is my choice). I can do my homework while thinking about other stuff. Just making full use of my brain. heh.

Went dinner with Jesslyn. Chris, Ivan and Tian Nee at Kenny Rogers. Was totured badly by Chris with his never ending crap. He's a joker, haha.

Went window shopping after that. Both Ivan and Chris got a matching polo tee, how loving. heh.

The gang was chatting happily, but I wish I could go home and continue my studies... and they just go on and on, finally, they ended their chatting...

Watching Charmed now, going to bath after this and continue CSI.

October 21, 2003

Late again. Just can't bring myself to go and bath. Thanks God that Ivan woke up earlier than me (Surprising?) and helped me to sign my attandance for CMSY lecture. Gee... today Macro economics lecture was damn boring, the teacher sounds so mono, almost fall asleep if I don't have my abundance supply of sweets.

Went for some exercise with my course mates. Don't know what's Faith and Nur are up to, they actually hit the squash ball and it went *poof* disappeared. $3.50 gone just to replace it and they found out they actually do not have to buy a new one. haha.

Was "ping pong-ing" with Han, Nadia and Nur. My first time playing it, Han is a great mentor, now I know how to handle the ball and stuff. He's paitent enough to waste his time on me, he simply rocks.

Went to bath after 1 hour of ping pong, the feeling of the cold water against my hot body feels so great, on cloud nine. oh man, what am I talking about?

Macro economics tutorial was fun, learn quite a lot of stuff. Jeannie is a good teacher, love her so much. Everyone was so excited to learn new stuff, like me.

haha, I just knew it. Sharon and Alan are an item. At first don't believe our source, until now, haha.

Parted way with Tian Nee at the Bus interchange. Was feeling kinda low, so I went to eat. Chicken pita kabab? Hope I got it right. Doesn't taste as nice as the one I bought from Geylang Seri, woah, that was 4 years ago. Even the security guard was against me, went Courts to take a look at computers with Milo from Mcdonald in my hand. "Hello, you are not suppose to bring drink here". Damn it. I give him a look, and say, I going off soon. Continue with my viewing and left.

Suffering from depression now. Going to eat my nuts.

October 20, 2003

Was almost 1 hour late for today CMSY lab lesson. Called my group members, turn up Faith was late too. So waited for her and went in together. Didn't know this could invite some gossip from my classmates. oh well.

Lunch was at School of Design with Nur and Faith. The black pepper steak taste real good, even better than the School of Business. The serving was too little though. Couldn't understand what's wrong with Boss. He could just take the model and load it up the cab alone, why does it need all of us to be there? What a waste of time.

Skipped Business Accounting tutorial to do the final touchup to the model. Seriously, given a chance, I won't skip the tutorial. I rather attend it now and forget about everything, now I have to attend either the wednesday or thursday lesson.

Han's group model is impressive and good. Think they could score an A. Han is really a born leader. Any group with him will surely do well, just take a look at his communication skills group. Speaking of the presentation, I have nothing much to say. I didn't perform well, I can't find anything to talk about. Everything was in a mess, Boss don't want to follow the cue we given him, there's so much thing I can bitch about, but I am not any good too.

Frankly speaking, I am quite angry at Boss. Firstly, he threaten not to bring the model and let us fail if no one is helping him. Oh well, what can I say? During the presentation, he didn't do what he's suppose to do. He still has the gut to tell me he's nervous. That's it, I am going to flunk this subject.

Weren't in a good mood. Went Tampines Mall to buy audio CD. Sadly, American Wedding soundtracks were sold out, left with 2 choices. David Gates (Member of "Bread") - A lifetime of music and Clay Aiken. In the end, I decided to buy David Gates.

On my way home, bought Apple Strudel to treat my depression.

No more presentation, now only left with my exams. Will start mugging this friday.

Today gossip bring up something for me to ponder. What will my life be in the next 10 years? Most properly a bachelor, slogging away to support myself. Even though my dad will be making me the co owner of the house after my 21st birthday, I still have to fork out the huge property tax, which is a killer. Maybe I adopt a child. The life of a bachelor. I don't deserve to have a girlfriend or a wife. I am too egoistic.

A song dedicated to myself, It don't matter to me by David Gates (Playing in the background),

It don't matter to me
If you really feel that
You need sometime to be free
Time to go out searching for yourself
Hoping to find time to go to find

And it don't matter to me
If you take up with someone
Who's better than me
'Cause your happiness is all I want
For you to find peace your piece of mind

Lotta people have an eager hang up
'Cause they want to be the only one
How many came before it really doesn't matter
Just as long as you're the last
Everybody's moving on and try to find out
What's been missing in the past

And it don't matter to me
If your searching brings you back together with me
'Cause there'll always be
An empty room waiting for you
An open heart waiting for you
Time is on my side
'Cause it don't matter to me
It don't matter to me....
