Start off the day with The Straits Times, not for the current affair, since I only read at night. cellphones' ad! Aha! Been having the thought of upgrading my cellphone before my Kuala Lumpur trip, eyeing the Sony Ericsson K700i, price still going strong though.
Decided to visit Sim Lim Square since I won't be doing anything except staring at the wall. It was gonna rain but decided not to bring the umberalla. Felt weird holding my iPod on my hand since I 'm not carrying my usual sling bag.
Late lunch over at Burger King, actually prepared a coupon before leaving the house. Mushroom Swiss! Bleah. Quite a filling lunch, didn't know they include a box of chicken sticks (That's what you call that?).
Saw Wen Bin while crossing the road, woah. There he goes again with that "Bang-don!" rubbish. Anyway, he's on his way to collect cake. He's driving too...oh well. Asked what am I doing over there, window shop what else. Then he goes, alone? so sad? What's wrong with shopping alone, weird dude.
Read a few books over at Kinokuniya and got a box of shortbreads for my cookie jar. Joined mom for dinner like 2 hours after my late lunch. Chatted about lots of stuff, my sisters, my childhood, etc. This type of mother and son chat bring us a little closer.
Back at home, chatted with my buddy over at Down Under. Apparently life isn't going good for him, exams next week and he can't get the head of it. Affected by his friend's death caused by car accident, oh man. Aye, take care, mate.
In a good mood today, most likely becos' today work assignment isn't that heavy, so I could trash around and taking thing slowly.
Oh, the background song is Out of My Head by Fastball, many of my friends have been asking. Nice eh? Lyrics included for your listening pleasure. Enjoy.
Out of My Head by Fastball
Sometimes I feel
Like I am drunk behind the wheel
The wheel of possibility
However it may roll
Give it a spin
See if you can somehow factor in
You know there's always more than one way
To say exactly what you mean to say
Was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
How could I have ever been so blind?
I was waiting for an indication
It was hard to find
Don't matter what I say only what I do
I never mean to do bad things to you
So quiet but I finally woke up
If you're sad then its time you spoke up too

Where do you work?
Was chatting with my friend who is working at Heeren during the vacation. I think it's cool to be able to log in to MSN Messenger while working. Then she asked me, "where are you working during the vacation?" I was dumbfounded. "I'm not working. Staying at home." was my reply.
Generally, most students around my age are working during their vacation. Most people will go huh? if you tell them you are not holding a vacation job.
Maybe I should get a job for the next vacation. Work as Mac Evangelist or something.
The cactus wound I sustained last week at Ikea hasn't heal. Think I will see my doctor tomorrow.

Look! A new keyboard!
Using Creative Prodikeys as a keyboard just feel so weird and ... big? If you are wondering what's a Prodikeys, it's a music and PC keyboard. Took the initiative to search the picture for illustration.
Headed down to Sim Lim Square to get a decent keyboard. Searxhed around, Logitech's white keyboards look boring, can't trust BenQ neither can I trust Acer (Since both are under the same company), finally settled on a Microsoft keyboard. Also sent in my faulty TDK CD Writer for replacement.
Finally told mom about my trip to Kuala Lumpur. Strange that I only inform her when I 'm already in the final part of my planning. I know she trusted me, so didn't really seek permission beforehand.

So long, goodbye, keyboard.
Got the idea of doing some serious cleaning of my keyboard and mouse after reading Digiral Life, a supplementary magazine from The Straits Times. Cleaning the mouse was easy, unscrewed the rear side, wet tissue to clean away the scrolling wheel and exterior. Volia! Done in less than 3 minutes.
The keyboard involves more work, using a screwdriver to manually uncap all the keys. The junk that accumulated from the years of usage is extremely, gross. I think I took an hour and a half to wash each individual keys and remove the oh-so-gross unknown substances from the keyboard. I think I sprayed dettol a little too much, my keyboard refused to work after plugging in. Oh well, that was my favourite keyboard. It's a Hewlett Packard keyboard with japanese characters and blue LEDs. Think I will get a replacement tomorrow, typing on my Creative Prodikeys is just so weird.
Have you ever wonder, how life will be, beyond polytechnic education? For the males, it will be 2 years after National Service but for the females, it's straight after polytechnic.
For me, it's still the education path, entering varsity and get a degree before joining the work force. A diploma won't get you anywhere far, neither will a degree give you an edge over diploma holders.
The sight of diploma holders working in the lower hierarchy of an organisation and degree holders that couldn't get a job after getting their degree just tell us how competitive life is, in Singapore. You either climb up the social and education ladder or get left behind.
It's a dog eat dog world out there.

Knowing your root
Tiring day today. Woke up early to join Meiling and Ronald for tea at this traditional Hainanese coffee shop. Anything that has to do with my dialact attacts me, seriously I won't have wake up early if it's Coffee Bean or those hip hop cafe joint.
One familiar sight over there is the marble table. A traditional Hainanese coffee shop is never complete without marble tables. I do have one over my place, salvaged from my grandparents' coffee shop. I wanted to order thru hainanese, but dropped the idea. Don't want to embarrass them with my amateur hainanese. I think if dad and mom were there, they would have ordered in fluent hainanese.
Headed to Golden Miles Complex with Meiling to check on coach's availability. Enough seats for the 5 of us and cheaper than I thought. They offered us this first class coach which has massaging chairs, movie on demand right in front of you for each passengers and even serve meal! Yeah, you even got to chill out at the VIP lounge while waiting for the coach to arrive. Still deciding though, most likely won't go ahead with this first class coach as it gonna cost us SGD$20 more.
Meiling and I joined Ronald for dinner later on at Old Airport Market. Great food over there. Still remember the gang went there for supper after studying late at night over at Hock's house. Everything changed so much. oh well.
That's all for today, rather tired after today trip.

uh oh! That's the last train!
Meet up with Sharon and Peter at Dhoby Ghaut MRT. Was a little late, couldn't sleep the previous night, tossing around on bed. Went over Sharon's place to repair her computer. I think her house is cool! There's computer in her kitchen!
Stayed over for dinner and fix up her computer until it's kinda late. Couldn't network the 2 computers even though it could access the other computer's files. Finally give up on it, but at least you could surf on broadband connection now.
Reached the station at 11.30PM and to my horror, the last train departed. I was like, OH MY GOD! Peter and I were still happily deciding which train to stop to catch the last bus. Luckily there's still a few buses over at the interchange. Decided to take the bus that travels to Paya Lebar, still a long distance from my house.
The bus journey is extremely long, imagine from one part of Singapore to the other end, because it's pass midnight, it took us 50 min, can't imagine if it was during the daytime. Shared a cab later on with Peter.
Still planning the KL/Genting trip with Ronald and Meiling. Gonna be a 4 days 3 nights over at Kuala Lumpur and 2 days 1 night at Genting. Most likely be staying over at serviced apartment over at KL. Gonna be fun.

Rainy Orchard
The beginning of the rainy season? Been raining for the past few days this week. I just love the rain, especially when it get all dark and a cup of tea, ahhh...
Met my sister at Wisma Atria to shop for my blazer. Get my measurement done and gonna wait a few days. Parted way with my sister and brother-in-law after that. Headed down to Kinokuniya. Been quite out of touch with my books, The De Vinci Code is one book you gonna get! Next is, Eats Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation. The latter I borrowing from Wen Bin. Time to start my reading habit again.
Was about to take the train home when dad called. He's nearby and asked whether I need a ride. Great! Arranged to meet up at Grand Plaza Parkroyal Hotel. Shopped a while at Shaw Centre - Isetan and the DFS (Duty-free Shop) nearby. Over at DFS, it's crowded with japanese students, reminds me of the days back in secondary school when we have exchange programme.
Browsed through the Burberry boutique, nothing interesting. While waiting for dad outside the hotel, Noi saw me. I didn't notice her, until she called my name.
The TB030 gang meeting up at night to watch football at Chijmes, still deciding whether to join them as sunday is my family day. Hmm.

Academic year overview
As I said before, Judgement Day came early today. Received mine result through sms in morning.
I'm quite satisfied with my result, although it could have been much better if I did put in more effort. Maintained my GPA and cohorts' standing. Top 25%, distinction and those mumbo jumbo stuff.
Finally, will be taking these subjects next semester,
Heck, no pure computer subject, I would have love it as much as Object Relational Database.
Suppose to celebrate with the usual peeps, but backed out at the last minute. Spending some quality time at home with family. :)
Watched Super Size Me in the evening. Quite informative, really give a new meaning to the usual family oriented McDonalds. Doubt they are not that social responsible after all.

All things swedish and chinese
Met up with Ronald and Meiling again. Went Ikea this time. Did enjoy ourselves over there, the wonderful furniture display and most importantly, FOOD! Alright, I am such a glutton. We shared a plate of fries with nuggets, chicken wings and I had a plate of kid size spaghetti.
Bought a cookie jar and photo frame over there. Gonna keep my yummy cookies in this cool jar next to my study table and frame up my family portrait.
Shopped around Queensway Shopping Centre, just discover that besides the normal sports apparel the mall is famous for, they have quite a few spectacles shops. Been wanting to change my spectacles for quite some time, aye, time to save up.
Headed to Chinatown for dinner. Claypot rice and dumpling for side dish. I always like to have an early breakfast at Chinatown, but being such a night owl, it's always lunch time when I woke up. One day, when I got my driving license, I gonna drive my family for breakfast, cool eh?
Gonna be Judgement Day today. What else but the release of exam result. I'm not going to rant about how badly I did for my subjects, just so fed up with myself. I think tomorrow I will just stay in my room and do some self reflection for my lousy result.
This week just isn't a great week to get my result. Bad luck seems to be wherever I am. That bloody bird incident, the fall over at Geylang Serai and pricked my whole left hand with cactus at Ikea. AGGRH.
Wish me lots of luck.
Photos from today outing, enjoy.

Eat Drink Man Woman
Another day spent on fine food. Time for my regular jogging regiment.
Went for a haircut over at this new saloon. Before that I was contemplating whether should I cut off my overgrown lock, you see, I suddenly have a liking for long fringe.
Rushed home after my haircut to wash up, running late for my appointment with Ronald and Meiling. Dad drove me to Parkway Parade and even feed my wallet, great eh? As usual, we went window shopping before late dinner at the first level food court. Normal food court fare, nothing special.
Met Keng Hock while on our way to the bus stop. Proudly shown me his iPod 30GB, I don't suppose he got it first hand since 30GB is not in production, superseded by my 15GB edition. Anyway, the 3 of us took a bus down to Geylang Serai to enjoy the atmosphere over there.
Didn't had quite a good experience, this malay teen was like trying to pick a fight with us. Totally childish. I bet he must have a poor childhood. No offence, this isn't a racist statement, just an individual that spoilt my mood.
Bought the famed Ramly Burger and a dozen of prawn fritter. Great stuff, man. Abandoned the two of them halfway since dad was here to fetch me.
Don't really know what am I going to do tomorrow. I'm suppose to fix my friends' computers, Sharon and Meiling, but I'm just plain lazy.
Exams result out in 1 day time, wish me luck.

The most unproductive day ever. Slacked whole day long at home, glued to my computer. I really need a life.
My boring afternoon starts the moment I woke up at 1. Retrieved newpaper from my front gate and got a shock of my life, Home users face fines or jail for illegal downloads. Bloody americans. Apparently it's part of the FTA. First they force us to sell chewing gums, now this. Please just vote Bush out.
Doesn't really affect me, I got my stuff through much safer method than Kazaa or BT. :)
Watched Pearl Harbor until evening. Missed the broadcast by channel 5, oh well. Just food for thought, do you know that it is rumoured that Roosevelt (the wheelchair bounded President) delayed informing Pearl Harbor the imminent attack by Japan and divert key units out of Pearl Harbor? During that period, the Congress is against the idea of sending troops to Germany to aid Churchill. By enraging americans, he sucessfully convinced the Congress to send troops to foreign land.
Suppose to meet up with Ronald and Meiling at Geylang Serai. It was raining heavily in the afternoon and not wanting to get my shoes dirty, rejected the idea. Maybe I will make a trip down personally tomorrow after my haircut.
Alright, gonna read the newspaper again (twice per day) before I hit the bed.

Movie, Shop, Eat
Suppose to be stsying at home waiting for the courier, but went out instead. Tried to change it to another date but they had dispatched. oh well.
Watched Exorcist: The Beginning with Ronald. Nice show, will give it a 3 out of 5 rating. The old school of frightening movie-goers still works. It's quite in-depth, you need to read between the lines to actually know what's going on.
Went shopping at Hereen and Isatan afterward. A billabong shirt caught my attention. I will be back for it. :)
Met up with Meiling and had our late dinner at Gluttons Square. If you have been in touch with our Singapore Tourism Board effort in promoting Singapore, you will know where is it. It's located somewhere near Centrepoint where they sell great local fare. But at that kind of price, you can have a mini feast in Malaysia.
We had fried kway teow, egg melette with oysters, chicken rice, barbecued sting ray and desserts. Beginning to miss my weekly trip to Malaysia with my parents last time.
Headed down to Little India. Didn't had quite a good experience there, blame the cursed bird for what it did to me. Went Mustafa to shop around. Didn't make it for public transport and don't want to bother my dad since it's well after midnight. Midnight transport still affordable since Little India is kinda near to my place.
Exam results offically out this saturday. Expecting the sms to be sent on wednesday or friday. I dread this moment of anticipation, AGGRH.

The evil of gambling
What's so interesting about gambling? The thrill of it? I didn't see gambling becoming such a big issue to me until my friend told me about his addiction to it. That explains why he has been constantly asking for loan from me.
Like most of my other friends, he comes from a well to do family, half of his family over at America and he's in Singapore studying for his diploma. A few months ago until now, he has been asking for loan for me. Sure, no problem, I'm just helping a friend in need. But it sort of become a weekly thing. Finally he confessed, he been betting on 4D.
My impression of 4D has always been old men game, but a youth like him betting on 4 digits weekly? Gosh.
I'm not sure how am I going to help him neither am I going to feed his gambling habit.
Boring sunday. Rushing my job from the moment I woke up to the late evening. Sisters back and I can hardly afford any time to share with them. Anyway, got a new CD from my sister, I Love Paris. What a title. I think she went gaga over previous Europe trip. I think I'm going gaga too from the photos she took. No doubt about it, Europe is a picturesque destination.
Spoke with Adeline last saturday. She had her graduation ceremony, I think she's very excited about it. For my graduation ceremony, I wasn't the least excited about it. It's a few weeks more to the big O and I'm parting with my friends. Anyway, wish her good luck for the big O.
Ahh... nostalgic moments.

What's for dinner, mister?
Spent the afternoon in town. Headed to Sim Lim Square to get a sim card device that allows you to backup your messages and phonebook on your computer. The first step before my phone upgrade. I reckon it's time for an upgrade after enduring months of loose keypad. Looking for a suitable model now.
Muji and U2 having sales! I thought the Muji white long sleeve shirt look nice, but decided against getting it. Over at U2, nothing cool about it. Pondering whether should I get a blazer for my next 1 year of school. Sister got a cool 50% voucher from G2000 for her birthday.
Headed to Cold Storage to get fresh food for dinner tonight. Yea, I'm cooking. Also bought Hershey's Dutch Chocolate Mix and Arnotts Farmbake Chocolate Chip Fudge.
Most people doubt my ability to cook, on the contrary, I learnt how to cook long before secondary school days. With parents away from home, I have since learnt to be independent on my own, cooking not the usual instant noodles fare, but a real meal.
Tonight menu was,
Simple fare, just the right portion for me.
That's about it, quite a huge assignment today, got to rush.

web around me
Haven't been updating my blog for the past few days, eh, actually it's just one day, but it seems so long. Can hardly imagine I spent the first 4 days of my vacation doing nothing, absolutely nothing.
Watched Ocean Eleven the day before and I'm planning to watch New Police Story tomorrow. I'm so pathetic that I'm actually planning what to watch everyday, aye?
Rejected Michell's job offer. Really thank you for offering me a job, but the soul is willing, the body isn't. Was quite keen at the beginning until slackness starts to seep in. I ought to make a honest living by not leeching from my parents, but I just can't find a suitable job.
In fact, I can't even be bothered with my driving lesson. Mom gonna nag at me for not attending my driving lesson, oh well.
Malaysia trip with Ronald and gang put on hold until the release of our results. Looking forward to my results? No. There are quite a few subjects I gonna do well and another handful which I hate to think of. I'm praying hard my GPA won't fall below my usual 3+ range.
Going to visit Sim Lim Square one of these days to keep myself update on the IT trend. Alright, it's just a lame excuse for me to spend money. Going to get a SIM card reader to backup my phonebook, woohoo, new garget.
Suddenly realize that, I know nuts about the Fun Camp details. They tried to contact me but I was out of Singapore. No details, I guess I won't turn up. :( *grin*

:( *grin*

monochromatic vacation
Spent the day watching The Sum of All Fears, similar plot as The Hunt for Red October, story evolving around a CIA analyst. Instead of a nuclear submarine, we have a nuclear missile used as dirty bomb.
Great movies coming out! Exorcist: The Beginning and Wimbledon, just great isn't it?
Not very keen on the Genting-KL trip now. Hard to plan up something when people are indecisive in their wants and needs and lukewarm response.
Yeah, Mediacorp bringing back the new season of CSI! Catch it every tuesday night now!

First day of vacation
Alright, this is with regard to yesterday vacation. Apparently, my post might have caused some displeasure (nausea too) to someone.
Firstly, I didn't know you couldn't join us and no one, even you, told me about it. I gave you the benefit of doubt after you told me thru message that you couldn't make it as you're helping your sister, I thought the worse that I messaged over was the liar part, I hope that don't counts as abuse, unless you have a low threshold to abuse.
The previous post (She actually abandoned us when we are boarding the bus), it was penned in a light hearted manner, if that have caused you discomfort or any sort, I am sorry for my lack of tact, but I still stand by my statement.
Watched Resident Evil with Ronald. Nothing worth praising about the movie, the storyline digressed so much from the actual story that I think it deserve a negative score for it.
Joined the girls later on for dinner at Pasta Mania. Nothing much, shopped around before we're on our way home.
Heck, don't even know whether should I work. I'm starting to give up the idea of working, rotting at home seems to be much more enjoyable.

Wohoo! Exams finally over and done with! Passing Management Accounting paper isn't a problem, just wish I could keep up the standard like my coursework. Another good news, grade A for my Object Relational Database coursework! Alright, no more academic matter for now!
Vacation starts immediately straight after Management Accounting paper, TB030, my former semester 1 class organised Sentosa outing, how cool could that be? Faith that faker cheated us though, so maddening. She actually abandoned us when we are boarding the bus. I hope her friends do that to her too. (:
Over at Sentosa, we were debating whether to waste our time on fun golf or to have a game of vollyball at the beach. Of course we choose the latter, the sun is good for us and helps to cure sore adam apple *thinking of Yi Quen*
Everyone went wild, woohoo. I think we guys trash the girls badly, or is it the other way round? Opps, hope the girls didn't read this part. I think we did enjoy ourselves silly over there.
Trespassed the chalets' swimming pool for our own pleasure. Yi Quen must have gotta quite alot of attention without his undi.. opps. :x
Had our dinner over at HabourFront's Subway. Man, this the most expensive sandwich ever. But hey, great stuff with melted cheese, turkey ham, honey baked ham, olive, onion, beacon and a forest of salad. Celebrated James' birthday too. I think Subway's staff are just great. Gonna pen a letter of compliment later.
Exhausted at the end of the outing, good thing I arranged a free ride home from dad.
Photos are up, just click it to view.

Singaporeans' slanted perception
Found this interesting article from my email. It's kinda lengthy, so grab some food and drink while you read through.
Declaimer: I am not responsible for the below article, neither can I confirm the authenticity of the article. It is in my personal opinion that, the below article could have be written by a singaporen who has something against the female population.
Hello Singapore.
Actually I aint no outsider here, I lived in good o' Singapore, a rainy, suppressed and colored country for almost 15 years. I was born in Buford, North Dakota. I still remember one incident back 2 years ago when I was talking to this Chinese girl in a MRT train. She asked me where I was from. ' Buford, North Dakota, ' I said, feeling low, embarrassed to recall the poor town I was born. ' Wow, that place must be a great place to live, ' she replied. I was shocked.
What she and other Singaporeans didnt know is that Buford is almost a ghost-town in North Dakota. People living there straddles the poverty line. Amenities were scarce, internet access was almost unthinkable. But her attitude towards the Western World, especially that of the mighty United States Of Amercia, is often slanted and prejudiced. Most Singaporeans assume Whites are rich, and the Western hemisphere reign over the rest of the colored world.
I gamely asked her, ' What about Singapore? Isn't it a good place to live? '
' Hell no. Singapore is so low-class. I prefer the USA '
' What about China? Isn't that where your ancestors came from? '
' You must be kidding. I HATE China. '
Above is only a simple illustration of my point I am going to deliver today, but nonetheless reflective. Frankly, my grandparents were very poor back in Buford, and have to depend on state welfare for a living. My own parents weren't much better. They barely completed high school - My Dad became a Taxi driver and my Mum stayed at home to look after me and my brother. My Dad, the sole breadwinner, barely brings home US$800 a month, and my younger days in Amercian was a slew of horrible domestic fights, smashed bottles and other typical American violence. When I was 8 years old. Things started changing.
First, at the local church in Buford, one of my Dad's close friends told him of a Chink country in Asia, rich and peaceful, called Singapore. I guess you realise that my terms I use are strongly racist and descriminating - but that's how White Americans behave (of course not infront of colored people but when Whites are talking among themselves).
My Dad's initial responses were that of a reluctant no. Our foremost fears were that we're of a different race, our family is poor and were afraid to get a headstart. My parents were also only high-school dropouts. We're classical rednecks, is what americans would call.
But we eventually moved here.
It was a shift from hell to heaven. Or from trash to gods.
When we arrived in Singapore, we barely had any friends. I was 10 then. We turned to a local Catholic church. Their members were swarming around us, trying to drive in a good impression on us. They treated us very very well - though my family is poor and lowly educated. My dad eventually got a job in a local company as product supervisior that one of the church members is working in. My Dad's initial pay is around $2200. 3 Years later, my dad was promoted to the title of product manager. He now earns around $9400 every month.
Our family were surprised at our new-found wealth. More flabbergasted was that now our family has lotsa friends - yellow, browns and indians. Back in Buford, neighbours hardly interact. I had always thought that Singaporeans were very friendly and neighbourly people until I read recently that Singaporeans are becoming more and more cold. But what about my case? As another American kid in my Singapore American School tells me, "it's typical, those chinks and asians love to suck up to us, White Americans.'
I went into the Singapore American School. Pure white, was what I expected to see of the school population. But there are Chinks inside the school! I asked them why did they want to study here when they have a good education system outside. A typical reply: ' Our parents are afraid that a Singaporean certificate will not be internationally recognised.'
The word American itself speaks volumes about excellence. American is a posterboy of perfection. Everywhere in Singapore I go, armed with that body of blonde hair and blue eyes with crisp American accent, people treated me warmly. Store keepers, Taxi drivers, stewardess, every every Singaporean I met treated me like god. Not to forget, many Chink girls also fell in love with me.
I would like to admit that Im a virgin no longer (aint heck a unusual thing back in good ol' USA). Many Singaporean girls are willing to jump on bed with me. I was 16 when I started having sex. I used to have a Chink girl who was 8 years older than me. I also enjoy taking photos of naked chink girls when i went on bed with them. And i circulate them to my american friends.
I always thought that Chink girls are very conservative. Who knows that everytime i have sex, its mostly the girls' initiatives. Also they always confided their fantasy of marrying me and living in 'pleasant' America, in their words.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Singapore for being my paradise.
And Btw, that girl i talked about in the start of my article is a hua chong (issit correct? i dont know chink names) junior college girl, acting demure but actually very *@$%ty inside (as in towards me only and not asian men - beckham say they have small dicks? haha). Cant imagine such high educated girls have such slanted views
Now my view on the article
To sum it all, this article touch on how we worship caucasians as though they are so much superior than us. I do not disagree I do, at times, exhibit such mentality.
However, I do not go to the extent of despising my own country. It take quite a courage to voice out your negative view on your own country, especially when, face-to-face to a stranger. If the article is true, that girl deserve to be stoned by every single population of Singapore.
The reason for the kind hospitality in the writer's church might not be a part of this whole worshipping ideology. Since they are new to the country and are trying to adapt to our lifestyle, our singaporeans just go the extra mile to make them comfortable.
American whites called us chink, while we refer them as angmo, I suppose we are equal on this.
Posterboy for perfection? Maybe years ago, but with the Bush administration, maybe an excellent example for a misguided country. The Presidential Debate says it all.

uh huh, one more to go
Legal paper wasn't that tough, well within my expectation, it's after all, an open book examination. Finished my questions in time, so far, only spotted 1 careless MCQ error and 1 MCQ which is shrouded in shadow of ambiguity. Set a high expectation for this subject due to my interest in law and I been doing quite well for my coursework, almost scoring a perfect score for the mid semester test and my grade A project.
Looking forward to the end of Management Accounting paper, the end of my 3 semesters of accounting. Maybe will catch the movie or something after the paper. Exorcist: The Beginning will be on my must-watch list.
Time to get back to my revision, peace out.

Demoralized
After going through all these ordeal for the past 2 days, I been demoralized greatly. First it was E-Business Management and now, Hospitality and Management. Come what may, I must take things in stride and concentrate and focus my effort on my last 2 papers.
While reading through the newpapers, this article caught my attention, Please let our baby live - Newpaper 8 October 2004. A Britain judge ruled that doctors should allow a 11 month-old baby, Charlotte Wyatt, to die instead of reviving her.
How ironic, doctors took their Hippocratic Oath, yet they sought for such an inhuman right to end a life. What's the world coming to?
Back to revision. Peace out.

E-Biz Management screw up
E-Business Management is, screwed.
I did my usual revision, memorizing the whole notes, learning diagrams and I am still not confident of anything. Sat for the paper and my mind went bonkers. Besides the 2 diagrams (Three-tier architecture and payment clearance involving ACH), the rest is dead beyond redemption.
While people have 1.5 days for legal revision, I am having my hospitality and tourism paper tomorrow, effectively cutting my legal revision to 0.5 day. How screwed can I be?
AGGRH. Back to revision.
Peace out.

4 more to go
Feel like puking while on my way to school, shouldn't have read my notes on the taxi. Luckily, all is well when I reached school.
Management paper was, *grin* how should I put it? Let's say the time I spent during my self-exile was worth the effort. Struggled a little with SWOT analysis since it's where the marks are. The rest are a breeze through.
Just gotten news that my Object Relational Database project was a grade A work, woohooo! A grade A in exchange for sleepless nights, late nights in school and endless meetings in school. I'm contented :)
2 down and 4 more to go,
Another quiz, sad to say, I am not snoopy.

Late for my paper today, thought the bus in the afternoon will travel much faster than the regular morning bus, but throughout the journey, we have little school kids squeezing their way up the bus. Late for 5 min, there goes my reading time. Anyway, a credit pass isn't a problem.
Alright, Object Relational Database over, time to concentrate on Principles of Management.

Real to me
A few days of self-imposed exile in my room, I'm still unsure how confident I am prepared for the coming examinations. I know my work even before the revision week, but the thought of suffering amnesia in the midst of my paper just scare me off.
Suffered from a slight cold yesterday. Must be from the late night revision, slept almost daily at 4. Feelin' much better now after popping a few aspirin tablets.
Almost 2 months of vacation, I don't want to be a jobless couch potato wasting my life away. I need a job! Not for the sake of money but to spend my time. I dread the lifestyle I been having for my past vacations, sleep-eat-sleep.
Still thinking about the Genting-KL trip with Ronald and Meiling. Suppose to plan everything nicely, till now, what I have are leftlets. Going to leave it until exams over.
I'm bored, so did this quiz which I found out from Serena's blog. :)

You are Justice. To you, life is ultimately fair
and just. You are a strong believer in karma,
cause and effect. You proceed strongly with
your actions because you are correct and will
be rewarded. You are Justice, weigh matters
carefully and proceed.
