December 31, 2003

Hey people in my ex class of BIT, here's the placement of the students. Some are still not added, feel free to contact me to add them.

The Monday BBQ was quite fun, quite different from what I thought initially. Met the old gang there, Eng Kee, Abel, Wei Kian, Puay Seed, Keng Hock, Daniel and Milton. We played quite a few games, which I believe it's actually ice breaker from their respectively uniform group. My class has always been one of the best in its level, Half the class belongs to School Council and Prefects' Board. Half my class are either a leader in their CCA or hold senior positon. It's quite silly actually, well, as long as it's fun, don't really want to complain much.

Left them early as my dad is fetching me. The rest are staying overnight at Hock's house. It was long pass the midnight, since my dad is available and I didn't bring extra clothes for overnight, might as well go home. The distance from Costa Sand Resort at East Coast to Parkway Parade was a hell of a distance. It's damn scary walking under the flats.

Reached home, switched on my computer and boss was telling me the timetable was out. Cool. Did some funny trick and downloaded half the timetable of my class, or rather, ex class. Called meiling and Ronald over the phone just to tell them the timetable was out and guess what, it's 1 AM already. The Temasek Polytechnic portal was so slow till I can take a shower and it's still loading. Well, most of my classmates including meiling doesn't have CDS (Cross-Disciplinary Subjects). Strange? Well, extra workload for them for the next semester. Anyway, I got into Psychology. It's the bottom of my selection, darn it. I wanted so badly to get into French. I force myself up so early just to register for this crap and I was not given.

So now I got separated from most of my classmates, only Han and Sharon with me. At least there's the 3 of us. It's going to be strange in a classroom with no one you know.

Took a 5 hours sleep before waking up and meeting Eng Kee to fix a new computer for him. Anyway, this is the spec of his computer, Intel Pentium 4 2.6C, 512MB DDR400, 80GB Maxtor SATA Hard disk, Asus P4P800C motherboard and ATi Radeon 9200SE. It cost $1250 after I ask the salesgirl for a discount. She's quite friendly actually.

Completed fixing everything after 1 hr or so. Not my fastest speed, it's held by Ronald currently. at 45min I guess. Went shopping at Cold Storage after hoping on to a cab. Nothing much, got myself hair conditioner, batteries for my wireless mouse, chicken breakfast ham and sweet wine.

Reached home and found my friendster account being hacked. Someone changed my profile to a female and replaced my occupation to "sales ass". This person even posted 2 bulletin messages, insulting my poly mate, Alan. Well, trust me, if this person added some strange testimonial or send some wierd message to my friends, you are going to be so dead. You know why? I going to make a police report. Yes, I am not kiddin.

Nothing much, trying to forget this incident now and listening to Norah Jones soothing music.

December 28, 2003

Woke up today at 3pm. Wanted to go out, but after bathing and having my lunch, I was just too plain lazy to get out of the house. Quite a sunny sunday, opened up my windows to air the room and make my bed. 1 more week to school, better get my early sleeping habit back on track, if not, I am going to miss my morning lectures and tutorials. Speaking of that, my timetable will be out on the 30/31 Dec. Just hope I can get french as my CDS.

Might be going for the BBQ afterall. Keng Hock asked me again today. I asked who's going and stuff. At least most of my friends and "better-than-normal" friends are going. At least I won't get bored over there.

Going to have my late dinner now. ta ta.
Not exactly a good day to start off in the morning. My dad broke my wine glass, not that I am angry, he is afterall my dad, but the idea of getting a replacement for it is something I dread of. It actually a pair of wine glasses, which I use it for drinking my irish cream, red wines and brandy. I am not exactly a heavy drinker, just once in a while. Think will get a replacement on monday, tsk, this gonna disrupt my planning for that day.

Make some changes to my Friendster profile while working today. It's just the same old crap, do check it up if you are bored.

Watched "Home Alone 2" today on Channel 5. A classic Christmas type of movie which I won't get bored of. It has been repeating almost yearly and me, been watching it since young.

So I was invited to the BBQ party (Read yesterday blog). Received a message right before I sleep, it's by her. I was assuming that "monkey" told her about him leaking this to me and found out I was not invited. Woke up and found another message by this good friend of her. Seems to be addressing to more than one person, "Hi ppl, you are invited to X party at ECP blah blah blah". So was I actually invited due to circumstance? God knows.

December 27, 2003

Bored. Spent the afternoon on the computer and mopping my house. 7 different areas to mop, not an easy task.

Lots of phone calls and messages during the evening. First, my brother in law seeking help on his computer. He always call on my mobile, though I really don't mind speaking on the house phone, just hope that my sister won't get enraged looking at the handphone bill at the end of the month.

"Monkey" was asking me about the computer parts as he's buying a new computer. Well, I suppose another friend of mine has been feeding him with thr wrong information and good thing he clarify with me. Not that I don't trust this friend but his egoistic manner always get the better of him. Sometimes, I simply ignore him to spare myself from his crap.

Well, "monkey" also told me about Cindy's gathering or some sort next week. Doesn't really bother about her, I'm not close to her, I don't like her, I give no heed to any business of her and I don't add her in my friendster. Just that the fact that I been informed of this and he thought I was invited makes me irritated. If I have no knowledge of it, I won't have think about it. Now he tell me about this, it seems that I am left behind. It also happen to me and a group of friends for Janice chalet. As long as I don't know I am not invited, it's fine.

Well, just not feeling that good today, mentally. I am free from my sickness, though I am still coughing a little.

Watched Norah Jones interview on Channel News Asia. Tempted to buy her album, her songs are great! She has a great voice too. It's a mix of blue and jazz. Maybe will keep a lookup the next time I visit CD shop.

December 25, 2003

Merry Christmas!

Well, didn't follow my dad to do the paperwork for his vehicle. Instead, went to watch movie with my mei (read: Godsister). She was late, got confused on the way to get out of the station maze at Douby Ghaut. We missed first 5 min of the movie - Love Actually. Anyway, Love Actually is superb! I love their British slang, started falling in love with their slang after watching "Sliding Door". After the movie, we walked around Orchard, from Plaza Singapura to Scotts Shopping Centre. We settled for dinner at this Hainanese restaurant named "Heng". It's located at Wisma, I ordered Beef noodles (with a choice of beef balls or beef slices) and lime juice while my mei ordered Laska and soft drink. The bill - $20.80. Kinda expensive but it's at Orchard, should be the standard rate, I suppose. Anyway, I always been interested in Hainanese culture, being a hainanese myself (Both my parents are hainanese).

We walked back to Centrepoint and took a train back. I followed her home before calling my dad and asked for a free ride home, plain lazy to take a bus.

Right now listening to Christmas songs by Michael Bublé and a group called "Vocaluptuous" and slipping a hot cup of coffee. The Vocaluptuous is a birthday present by Adeline. heh.

December 24, 2003

Finally completed writing my Christmas cards. All those that have been good this year, do check your mailbox. :)

Went Bugis after doing the postal stuff at Singapore Post Centre. Lots of people doing last minute Christmas shopping at Cold Storage, grabbed a packet of cookies and sushi. yummy. Wanted to buy the Billabong 3/4 pants but can't really decide on the color, should I take brown or black? If only Ronald is with me....

Went home and out again. This time with my mom. Doing some last minute shopping before the start of my birthday celebration. Bought satays and some other stuff before my dad come and fetch us. Anyway, the new car will be ready to collect on the first of Jan... wee, very excited, although I don't have a license...yet.

Reached home, oh boy, everyone were there already. My sisters and my brother-in-laws. The KFC delivery arrived shortly and we commence on my birthday feast. Lots of food, yummy! Well, my birthday present was a Timberland shirt, doubt I will be wearing it to school, it's long sleeve, I will try to wear it next time, but I seldom wear long sleeve, no pants to match with it.

After everyone went off, my dad and I had a drink of VSOP. The taste is somehow like Irish Cream but without the milky taste. Right now eating on my sushi with some of the VSOP.

Thanks everyone for the preparation of my pre-birthday celebration (Jesslyn and gang), birthday presents (Adeline, Jesslyn and gang) and the birthday greetings (Ron, Daniel, Adeline, Cheng Cheng, Michell, Nadia, Ronald, Wei Kian, Jesslyn and gang). This from the bottom of my heart. My memory is kinda bad, if you are not mentioned above, do remember to tell me, okie?
Take care. ta ta.

December 23, 2003

Falling sick, went off early before my meeting with Adeline to see my doctor. She gave me the normal stuff, antibiotic, cough syrup (yucks) and some painkiller.

Rushed to Bugis in a cab and try to scout around for a Christmas present for Adeline, bought Christmas cards on the way while scouting. In the end, decided to get something edible for her. If you are reading this, Adeline, hope you like it. :).

Met her at Paya Lebar MRT and we exchanged our present, a birthday present for me and a Christmas present for her, heh. She still the same, doesn't change much since I last saw her in school. Wanted to follow her to the bus stop, but it feel kinda awkward as we seldom talk except through Messenger and sms. Also, I was afraid I might be late for the meeting with Jesslyn and gang.

Over at the Tanah Merah MRT, I was the first to arrive. Strangely, every meeting with them, I was the always the latest, now I was the first. Perhaps it's my birthday celebration? heh. Ivan was the 3rd to arrive and guess what? He highlighted his hair, haha, quite refreshing in my opinion. The girls are the last, Jesslyn look cool in her new hairstyle and also Tian Nee with her straightened hair.

We proceed to Changi Airport for dinner at Swensens. I ordered Breaded Chicken with lemon sauce, yummy. Shouldn't have eaten this, kinda "heaty", right now, I am suffering from the effect of it, coughing non stop. We chatted quite alot, our life during the holiday and stuff. As usual, Boss was so shy, he don't wish to have his picture taken. Anyway, we manage to have a group photo taken by one of the Swensens staff.

Took a bus down to Tampines Mall. From there, we window shop around and went on for our photo taking craze, we must have look real silly over there. haha.

After that, we went home, overslept again. Called up my dad to fetch me home from the bus stop, heh.

Well, now it's after 12, time to open up my presents. From here, I like to thanks Jesslyn and gang (Boss, Ivan and Tian Nee) for the wonderful night and the present, Adeline for the present, "Cheng Cheng", Nadia and my mei for the Birthday greeting. You people really made my day.

Till now, going to play online for awhile before tucking in early waiting for my family celebration. :)

December 22, 2003

Couldn't go out today, darn. Got a mild fever, sore throat and running nose. *sniff*

Woah, it has been raining non stop for 2 days, the wet weather makes the feeling of Yuletide kinda alive. I will have prefer a wet weather for Christmas rather then a hot sunny weather.

My sisters coming back on my birthday, yahoo! I was taken in by surprise when they asked me what I want for my birthday. Until now, I have everything I wanted and it's kinda odd when someone ask you what you want for birthday, it just doesn't feel right.

Gee, looking forward to meeting Adeline and Jesslyn and gang tomorrow. Bought something for Adeline last year as a Christmas present, this year, it's kinda late to do any shopping, maybe I will just snowball it till her birthday.

2 days more before meeting my godsister for movie, wee, I just feel lucky to have so much friends around me.

Strange, received an odd message today on my handphone, "You have received an E-Greeting from Walt (HP No: ********), Please visit E-Ideas to view the greeting". So from my handphone, I entered E-Ideas and this person leave a greeting, "Hi, interested to be friends?". I don't know whether am I smart or dumb but I just sent a reply thanks him for the greeting and stuff. Alright, this person is a male, well, he's interested to be my friend, I suppose he got my contact from the E-Ideas friends list. We chatted awhile through sms, he's name is Walton, 28 years old. He's kinda easy going, told me he's gonig to watch Lord of the Ring tonight and ask me if I am going to watch it, remember to bring a jacket as it's cold and the show lasts 3 hrs. Not bad for a friend though.

Pray that I will recover from my sickness tomorrow.

Right now, going to make gluntinous rice ball for my family. Yummy. Kinda easy, just boil the water together with pandan leaves and ginger when it started to boil, add in sugar until it's sweet. Put in the rice ball, when it float, it's ready to eat. heh. Cutting the pandan leaves from my garden now, so long, good bye.

December 21, 2003

Still in my holiday mood, just feel so different at home now. Wanted to go out to get my Christmas cards, check whether Cold Storage accept any last minute booking and develop my film from the Penang trip . Oh well, why does it have to rain today?

Christmas appoaching! Next week, finally. Really looking forward to the Christmas, I am actually a Christmas baby as told by the doctor but came into this world 2 days before Christmas. To my Polytechnic friends, yes, my birthday is on the 23rd December. Sorry to keep it a secret from you guys for so long. heh.

This year birthday is so much different. My friends usually don't celebrate for me as they are usually working or overseas, it' falls on a school holiday afterall. But this year, I have people like Adeline, Jesslyn and gang and maybe my godsister to celebrate with me. Frankly speaking, this is the first birthday which I will be celebrating with friends, I don't know how I will react on that day.

Think I am going to be sick. running nose and sore throat. Been skipping my daily medicine ever since the Penang trip. Let's hope that I will be well for the whole of next week. Got so many things planned out already.

December 19, 2003

hell yeah. Back from Penang. Spent the 13 hours ride back to Singapore sleeping.

Back at Lavender MRT, we went for breakfast before going our separate way home, I shared a cab with Ronald.

Well, overall, Penang was quite fun. Though much of the clothing stuff you can get it at Singapore at the same price. Wanted to buy a Levis jeans, but thinking over it, might as well get it in Singapore since it's roughly the same price.

The food is great! Their prawn mee was delicious, not quite the same as the variety found in Singapore. "Lok Lok" is quite okie, but I find it unhygienic, as the boiling water is shared, when a new batch of people takeover the table, they will use the same water which you just used. "Lok Lok" is basically a type of steamboat, the food are placed on a satay sticks (reused also) and you place it in the water to boil it before dipping it in satay sauce.

Meiling's relatives were very friendly, enjoyed their warm hospitality. They insisted on treating us every meal, even booked a mini van for us to for sightseeing. At the last day, they even treat us seafood at a restaurant. We tried to pay, but they paid before we can take any action.

Gonna take a rest now. Will have a mini guide when I am free to do one. :p

December 14, 2003

Cool, going off to Penang tomorrow. Called the travel agency, told me my booking is confirmed. But forgotten to ask whether the hotel is the one I selected or some other hotels, because I remembered telling the staff if the selected hotel is unavailable, they could help me select other hotels. Called them again, they told me they are unsure of the hotel and will give me a call tomorrow again. Gee... Going to fill in the travel visa later.

Well, a normal sunday. Sisters are back and brother-in-law are back, chatted awhile and I was back to my computer game. One of my sister ordered a roast beef thingy for me, sort of a christmas dish for me. Speaking of Christmas, I have to rush to complete my Christmas order at Cold Storage tomorrow before departing Singapore.

Have to run a tight schedule tomorrow. Going for my haircut, christmas stuff to order and get a new CDRW to store my mp3s.

Going to apply my travel insurance online now. ta ta.
A new game for me, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Spent more than 12 hours straight on the game, challenging, till now, only manage to complete 30% of the game.

Spent the afternoon and evening playing the game and waiting for the travel agency to give me a call. They are still waiting for the hotel confirmation when I gave them a call. I just hope they will give us the status a.s.a.p. on Sunday. Don't really want to rush out of the house the moment they give the confirmation on Monday.

Cried over the movie, The Iron Giant. It's a nice show, at first, I thought the ending was quite saddening, the Giant in order to protect the town, gave up his life. But in the end, he's still alive, as his scattered parts crawl back together and form back the Giant.

Was in the best of mood today when this little kiddo came along and disturb me. Don't really want to add him to my MSN Messenger list, but someone gave him my contact anyway. I was watching Band of Brothers when he ask me some stuff. Well, he hit a raw nerve of mine and I just couldn't take it. I just tell him I am busy and block him of my list. Guess what, he got 3 contacts, and I blocked 2 of them, the other I don't know his email. Stupid kiddo, go get a life.

okie, going to do some important stuff.

December 12, 2003

Thought of joining down to the PolyClinic to get my hepatitis immunization but ronald and meiling arranged to meet at 3 pm. Over at the train station, met Ronald by surprise, so the 2 of us went down together to Golden Miles to meet Meiling.

Finally, meiling's aunt allows her to go. Don't ask me why her aunt want to poke into this, I myself is already sick of doing the asking and arranging the stuff. Done our booking at one of the agency and it's not really confirm yet. The agency has to confirm with the hotel first. Quite a high possibility that the hotel will be fully booked. If only we have booked early. Now waiting for 2 working days before the agency contact me.

It was raining heavily when we reached Bugis. Wanted to make reservation for the christmas foodstuff at Cold Storage but there's no one at the counter. Talk about quality service. We bought sushi. Simply loves the flying fish and salmon roe sushi. delicious!

Walked to Raffles City. Nothing much over there, walked around, wanted to get one of those Ocean Pacific broad shorts, but doesn't come with any pocket, the design is kinda nice. Marks and Spencer stop selling tit bits? I went Centrepoint last time and couldn't find any, over here, it's the same situation.

Shopped at Jason market, just like any typical supermarket, but is suited for the higher income class and expats. It's runned by Cold Storage anyway.

Meiling parted with us at the train station while Ronald and I went City Link to look around. He got himself an umbrella at $6 cos it's rainy. haha. On our way to the bus stop it was raining cats and dogs. Good thing I bought along an umbrella this time. My mom always reminds me to bring umbrella when the sky is dark and always her advice is turned on deaf ears, this time, really have to thanks her for her constant reminder.

Seems like it's 2 weeks more to Christmas and also, my birthday. ho ho ho. Changed the background song to The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). Hope you people enjoys it. Included the lyrics too.

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

Hey, anyone wanna watch "Love Actually"? I still looking for someone to watch with me. Can be a group or alone, doesn't really matter. :)

December 11, 2003

Went down to Toyota showroom with my dad to make the booking. Finally, after all the car viewing. It's a arctic silver model, 1.6 Automatic gear. My dad asked me to do all the paperwork, writing the cheque and stuff, then the sales engineer (actually is salesman, but they call themselves sales engineer) said something like, "your son run your business for you ah?". My dad was like smiling and saying no. Actually, I been helpig my dad to write cheque since young, I love doing that, don't ask me why, I just love to do paperwork, I open my dad's letters too. heh.

Went ICA building to meet up with Meiling and Ronald. My dad gave me a ride there from the showroom. Surprise to see Binxun (Meiling's brother) and Norman (Meiling's cousin). Anyway, we make our way to Golden Miles Complex to take a look at the prices of the tour package. Norman as usual, a restless monkey, very playful. One thing about Golden Miles Complex is a strong odour. It's smell like rubbish, I remembered my sister told me, when she's at Thailand, their food market have this strong smell that smells like rubbish. I bet it's the same smell she's referring to. It's pork. yucks.

Well, after walking around asking, we manage to shortlist 2 travel agencies. Went to a nearby market for dinner (known as Army market). Shop around the army market after dinner, it's quite an early dinner, around 5.30pm.

Walked to Suntec after that. Spent almost 2 hours at carrefour, I bought bread and sushi while Ronald bought a rack. Everyone of us had sushi along the way to Bugis.

We walked to Bugis as Ronald suggested to Meiling and the 2 kiddo about more cabs over there. After they left, Ronald and I was waiting for the bus. I want to rush home to watch Charmed but the bus just didn't arrive. Suddenly, I remembered the bus which the both of us were taking had a change in the route some when last week. I went to take a look at the bus board, true enough, it's not serving the Bugis bus stop. -_-

We took another alternate bus and it's way over 10 pm. Reached home at 10.30pm and didn't catch the front part of Charmed, so don't really know what the hell is going on. AGGRH.

Was playing Warcraft 3 online with Ronald when he suddenly tell me he got to go. Guess the reason? Meiling want to talk to him about changing the date of the tour to end of the month just because her primary school friend want to join in. Hey great, for the sake of one person, she ruining the whole thing. If there's really a change in date, I am considering not going. I have a whole lot of activites planned for the end of the month. I am not going to give it up just becos of 1 silly dude.

She keep on making funny request for the trip and till now, she haven't even confirm yet. This sucks big time. god damn it.

December 09, 2003

First of all, got to apologies for not updating my blog for the last 2 days (Sunday and Monday). The Blogspot server was down on Sunday, couldn't update it and on monday, went for another chalet which was sort of a Polytechnic class gathering. As I usually update my blog at night and the fact that I was out in the early evening, so another day of blog not updated.

Was busy checking out with the various travel agencies on the Penang trip, Meiling was asking for funny requests and at the end, after 3 calls to this travel agency, decded to tell her directly, "Hey, how about this, I give you the number and you go ask them yourself?" She sort of give up on her odd request and give me a break. I was already late for the appointment to meet Boss at Tampines to go to the chalet together.

Took a bus down, quite a long journey, traffic jams every now and then during the journey. Was late by 15 min, arranged with him to meet me at the Post Office while I go hand in my NKF Donation card to the counter. Speaking of this, I didn't really go seek donation, was in the midst of my projects deadline, so couldn't really go ask my friends. Forked out $20 from my own pocket and put my family names down. At least I didn't surrender an empty donation card, it's good enough, isn't that so? :)

Over at the chalet, I feel kinda wierd. It been a while since I last contact them. BUt after a while, the same old feeling is back. Make quite a few new friends over there, though I did not ask for any contact from them. There's "Mohammand Ali", Mohammand Mathatir (hope I got it right), Pei Qi (Han's gal), Samuel (Met before, Mayvis' guy) and Nad's brother (ya right, his guy actually). Don't know how "Mohammand Ali" got his name, he's a chinese, at least from his looks, well since everyone called him that, I might as well. Hey, he got a younger brother by the name of Brandon too. cool eh?

Faith was like calling me a mummy's boy throughout her stay at the chalet. Seriously, I don't know why she called me that. I can stay overnight anytime and anywhere. I don't have a fixed time to reach home and my parents don't really control my social life. But hey, the funny part is, she's not staying overnight, all the crap talk about she has a choice of whether to stay overnight or go home. HAHA! I bet she's went home cos' she has a curfew or something. No offence, okie? :p

Boss lost like $80+ during the chalet. I think he's kinda silly to bet on so much money while playing blackjack. People like me bet on ten cents, while he, $10 per game. totally nuts. The worse part is, he didn't earn any money, but lost all of his capital. haha. For me, earned about 4-5 times my capital. The overall winner should be Mayvis and Samuel.

Slept at around 4 A.M. Still can hear the jokes cracked by James and Samuel. Soon I fell asleep with my classical music playing on my headphone.

Woke up 8 A.M, again, by the jokes cracked by James and Samuel. These 2 are great jokers, haha. Went off for an early lunch after changing my clothes. "Mohammand Ali", Han and Boss was with me over at the food court, but I was the only one eating, both Han and Ali bought food back for them. While Boss was waiting for me to go home together.

Took a bus down to Pasir Ris MRT, alighted at Tampines MRT before taking a bus home.

Kinda tired now with only 4 hrs of sleep. going to sleep now. ta ta.

December 07, 2003

woah, 7.30 A.M. now. Just reached home from the chalet. Not really a class chalet, more of a family chalet, not mine family though. There's 7 of us, Li Sze, Daniel, Abel, Eng Kee, Zui Kai and of course, Milton. His family booked the chalets, 4 units in total. Well, never got a chance to enter the room, only for their family, I guess.

Went to play bowling, kinda fun, but the shoes kinda comfortable without socks. We chatted till the morning with instant noodles and alcoholic drinks to keep us going. Those alcoholic drinks are bought by someone else, I am afterall, an underage. Sitted outside BK and we played some unlogical IQ games, yeah, it's kinda boring. Parted way with them, leaving Abel, Eng Kee, Daniel and me to go home. tHey have to attend church mass while I just follow with the majority.

The new Teva slippers hurts. Not quite use to it, bought it in the afternoon after buying my memory from Sim Lim. Speaking of memory, it reminds me of this person. She's told me memory affects the internet speed, LOL! If that is so, my desktop will be running at 2GB/sec, can't find any logical explaination for the relationship between internet speed and memory. haha. Oh dear, think I going to spend a fortune on the DECT cordless phone, went SingTel's Hello! shop and was observing each model carefully. Gonna get it after receiving the money I paid for my classmates for the class chalet.

Rushed down to the chalet in the last train after completing my work, left me with no time to type my blog until now.

Might not be going for the TP Class chalet afterall, quite tired after today. Besides being tired, Ronald has been asking me to help him install his broadband stuff on the 9th. So probably giving it a miss.

*yawn* Going to sleep now.

December 06, 2003

Went ICA Building today with Meiling and Ronald to settle our travel document stuff. Gosh, Ronald was wearing the same shirt as me! But his was red while mine was dark blue. But the design is the same. I been getting wierd stare from some people. yucks. While waiting for our turn, there's this middle age guy who started to chat with me. He said "your passport got so many chops, went overseas alot ah?". I replied yes and add some comment, trying not to appear rude. Then he took a look at my queue number and said, "can go together with you later? I missed my queue, don't want to wait". uh ha, so that's his real intention for being so friendly.

So allowed him to come along with me. Over at the counter, the officer said something like each passport need a different queue number. Then she asked whether are we related. I was like eh? The uncle did all the talking. Anyway, the officer was kind enough to extend his son passport after dealing with mine.

Meiling went off early to attend to some family stuff, while Ronald and me went Bugis to get his telephone cable, he was so excited about his coming broadband connection on tuesday, asking me to go his house to install the modem. Spent an hour over there before proceeding to Plaza Singapura.

Actually Ronald wanted to go WWE Smackdown, but after my constant nagging, he decided to give up his idea of attending. Nothing much at Plaza Singapura, went around window shopping and find my classmate over there.

Walked to Herren, and there's this dark blue polo T that got my attention. But they only have Medium. I thought I will be wearing small. Walked to Takashimaya (?), and went the food court, oh my, it's so packed! Can't even find a seat. No choice, went Wisma food court. It's kinda small, I think less than 10 stalls. Anyway, I got the Polo T I been eyeing. Tried the small size, it's fitted me well, but decided to get Medium.

At the food court, I ordered fish noodles. not really filling. After our late dinner, walked to C.K. Tang and window shop there.

Over at Far East, the shops are closed when we reach there. Decided to meet Meiling for coffee at Coffee Bean. Took a train there. We discussed about the Penang trip and kinda surprise everyone is quite confirm that they are going. Gonna make a call to check out with the travel agencies.

ta ta, munching on my snack while checking out details on Penang.

Wanted to sleep early last night, but ended up chatting late with "cheng cheng" and ting ping. Gee, it's nice chatting with the both of them. I find that it's easy to communicate with people when you treat them more than just friends. I don't chat with girls like they way I chat with them, we can talk a wide range of topics, which sometimes, I don't usually discuss with normal friends. Open minded girls are more outgoing in my opinion. Not really implying that most of my female friends are narrow minded, but I tend to keep a certain distance from them, most likely it's because we are not that close or I feel that we lack a mutual understanding due to a lack of continuous communication.

Christmas approaching soon, gonna collect my friends' address to send christmas card. If you have been good, I will send you a Christmas greeting. :)

Suppose to go out today, but was enjoying my sleep, mentally, refusing to get up. Well, missed Jesslyn and gang movie outing and Ronald's airport outing.

Was checking my Temasek Polytechnic mailbox and found a email informing me of my contribution to the class as a Subject Representive. I thought only Class Representive earns SEAL point. Anyway, it's great that your contribution has been noticed.

Ting Ping asked for my horoscope and after telling her, she was like "no wonder". She said people of my horoscope are wierd. Am I really that wierd? *grin* Except for my frequent mood swing and my "HATE TO BE DISTURBED WHEN SLEEPING" behaviour, I am much like others, a normal human being. Speaking of sleeping, I hate it when someone called me when I am still in bed. Well, Ronald has been scolded/tortued by me for waking me up in the middle of my sleep.

AGGRH, missed Gotcha today on channel 5. Wanted to watch but fall asleep on the bed with my TV on. I am gonna hate myself for this, today is suppose to be extremely funny compared to last week. There's this girl going, spotting for couple and tell the guy why he didn't contact her after that night. It's funny. yeah.

Gonna watch Love Actually one of these days. Suppose to watch Uptown girl with adeline but somehow, forgotten my promise to her to watch that movie together. Maybe will ask the old gang whether they want to watch together before I ask my other friends to watch.

Right now listening to Ono Lisa. She's a great Bossa Nova singer. Highly recommended by me. :)

Gonna make a cup of coffee and maybe play an hour of game before sleeping. ta ta.

Changed the background song to I'll be home for Christmas
If you like, you can sing along, included the lyrics.

I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow
And mistletoe
And presents 'neath the tree
Christmas eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
Christmas eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
If only in my dreams

Suppose to be slacking at home doing nothing, but the Corolla Altis is ready for test drive! My dad came home and ask me to join him as the sales agent called him up to test drive Over at the showroom, we waited awhile for the car to be ready and went around looking at the various models. The Corolla Altis is quite a good car, the engine is silent and powerful, but a little virbation when exceeding 60km/hr. After that, we went to see Toyota Primo, it's a parallel imported car, not available through Toyota authorized dealer. strange, why are they not importing such a fine car? Given a chance, I will choose this over the altis. But given a choice between Continental and Japanese cars, I will gladly take continental.

Went Ikea to shop for a new shoe rack after our car viewing. Treated my dad over at the restaurant. Just got my pay and it's my first time treating him. Ordered, meatballs (YUMMY!), cream of asparagus, pancakes and 2 cups of coffee. The cream of asparagus look kinda disgusting with its pale green color, but it taste great. After our tea break, we bought the shoe rack and decided to go Junction 8.

Junction 8 changed alot, my last time over there was in the month of May. Window shop around the stores after that went for dinner at the food court. Both of us ordered beef noodles. It just taste so fine with the taste of sesame oil. yummy!

Quite a long day for me. Trying to sleep early tonight. Might be joining my friend at the airport tomorrow, was asked to join Boss and gang for movie, but my friend asked 2 weeks before, so I guess I just give the priority to him.

woah, can't believe it, I actually spent 6 hours on Lord of the Ring: The Return of the King today. From the moment I woke up to my dinner. Excluding my toilet break and lunch of course. Completed the game, now I am going to be so bored without any new game. :(

Checked the rate for driving lesson, omg, at least $1200 if I enroll in a driving school. $54 for an hour of practical lesson, total madness. Oh yeah, friday will be the official launch for Corolla Altis. Maybe will go next week with my dad.

Not sure whether should I go out tomorrow, maybe will ask Ronald out to Orchard to shop.

Nothing much today. Was in front of my computer whole day long.

Playing a new game - Lord of the Ring: Return of the King. The game is so real to the movie. They extract part of the movie and place it in the game, which then you take on either one of the 3 main characters. One thing about this game is the difficulty. I usually play games at normal difficulty, but for this, even at easy, I couldn't complete. Finally a challenge, I say.

Asked by my friend to join him on Thursday at Changi Airport to welcome those WWE stars. Yucks, I hate WWE, it's so dumb. I was wondering what is he thinking when he actually told me that. Might join him, but not to welcome those WWE fakesters, but to surf internet with my laptop. Okay, this dumb, I can surf net at home, I know.

Chatted with Ricky on cars today. OH great, he got his driving license before me. Getting a license in Australia is much faster than Singapore. zzz. He might be getting a Nissan Pulsar (a.k.a. Sunny in Singapore). So we were arguing whether auto or manual gear is better. I think Singapore should abolish license for manual gear, why would someone prefer to drive a car that requires the constant changing of gears? Startup at gear 1, low speed gear 2, medium speed gear 3, cruising speed gear 5. I rather drive a auto car. Period.

December finally. Not really looking forward to it even though Christmas fall on December. So now I have 1 month more before school starts. Great. Gonna become crazy over the overwhelming projects and tutorial stuff.

Gonna make a cup of coffee now before continuing my game.

Normal sunday. My sisters are back today, as usual. My brother in law was back too. Helped him to copy some files to his CDR, needed for his sister's computer. One of my sister went off early as the husband need the car to play golf. Chatted with them about work and stuff. Nothing much to talk about.

Went off to SITEX in the late evening. Took a cab there as I am just too lazy to take bus and it's kinda late already. In the middle of the journey, I find myself quite uneasy, I usually have this feeling when I forgotten something. Sure enough, searched my pocket and found out I forgotten about my handphone. darn.

I hate it, can't contact my friend over there. I feel so lost without my handphone... Just can't live without it. Over at SITEX, bought Netgear 54mbps Wireless PC Card, much cheaper than on the first day. Also got 50 pieces of high end graded 700MB CDR and 5 pieces of audio graded CDR. Been 'burning' lots of CD nowadays, games, audio, anime and stuff. Just used up 10 pieces for my games.

Completed my shopping at 9 P.M. My friend asked me to wait for him so we can go home together, he told me he will be done at 9.30 P.M. Guess what, at 10 PM, he's still not out yet. Hungry and cold standing at the MRT isn't what I enjoy most. Couldnt even call him when all the public phones are used by indians calling back to their hometown... In the end, decided to go home without him. Over at Paya Lebar MRT, gave him a call, he's still at Expo MRT. -_-

Had a late dinner, never thought that I will be home so late... Thanks goodness my gastic pain didn't occur.

okie. ta ta.
