Wow, one of the only few times I am early for Business Accounting lecture. Amazing, I thought I would be caught in the traffic jam again but today traffic was smooth, travelling was a breeze. This is crappy, the lecturer said that cash flow statement was moved to the front from the back of the syllabus since it's the hardest. But did they realize that it's the third chapters before our examination? This is the hardest and the only chapter that contain the highest mark in the paper, oh great.
Went down to City Hall to meet up with my friend to collect my lens. It's a Sigma 24mm wide angle lens for Minolta which I loan it to him for his Australia trip. We go separate ways after he passed the lens to me. Sigh, school is taking so much of my leisure away. Sill remember I can just plan a shooting trip without hesitating. Now? I have to check my schedule thoroughly before committing myself. The last trip was to Chinatown, the photos are.... hey, wait, oh no, I haven't develop it. ahhhh, see what I mean?
Went
Gramphone since I am around the town area. They specialize in high grade audio/video discs. Bought
The Corrs - In Blue DVD-AUDIO over there, the sound is incrediblely smooth and clear, really beats the hell outta analog CD. Guess what? I manage to find Rebecca Pidgeon audio CD! But this isn't what I want, they are selling the compilation not
Raven which I am looking for. But heck, they have the songs I want. On closer inspection, found out that this isn't any normal CD, it's a SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc). If it's played on a SACD player, the sound will be on par with DVD-AUDIO. okie, enough of the jargon. So the bottom line is, I bought the disc. :)
Rebecca Pidgeon - this poorly scanned image which I ripped from the internet does her no justice
The moment I step out of the bus, it started to rain cat and dog. What luck. At least I choose the correct bag today, my Deuter backpack has a waterproof pod thar covers the entire bag, cool eh? Mom called me up to tell me the weather condition, not realizing that I am actually at the bus stop. She offered to fetch me home, ahhh, awseome.
Went to meet Jesslyn and Sharon for the movie -
Passion of Christ. I reached but decided not to meet Jesslyn and her friends as I am not the type of person that communicate easily. Went to the nearby CD shop and browse around. In the end, I give in and decided to meet them, nothing much to see around Cineleisure. Her friends are friendly, I initially thought that I be sitting there stoning, but they make me feel rather welcome.
The ticket for Passion of Christ - The Holy Grail
Didn't manage to catch the first few minutes of the show, then some inconsiderate jerks took our seats. What the hell? If I know it earlier, I will just ask them to get their arse off or I call the staff in. According to Sharon, they said their seats were taken so they took ours. What nonsense, really illogical, people took your seats doesn't mean you can do the same to others. zzz.
The movie is speechlessly superb, the effects were gruesome, no wonder it's rated M-18. The scene where the romans crucify Him was extremely gross, imagine the pain of having a nail driven through your palms and legs, fresh blood splashing and dropping from the end of the nails. I did notice that
little mushroom head besides me hiding her head in fear. Didn't really hide my head away as I am more or less have a higher threshold for such bloody scenes. It's really a nice show, perhaps a little draggy.
After "supper", we went on separate ways, took a bus to Bugis and meet my dad there. It's a free ride home again. la la.
Having Bonkers event in the morning, gonna tuck in early. sigh, a good saturday wasted.
