Feeling real lousy today. Fever did not subsided, still coughing, nose overwhelmed with mucus. AGGRH.
For a second I thought I gonna faint, my face was pale and I have this weird feeling in my head. Eventually, I decided to head to my family doctor. Queue was long, like 10 patients before me. Mom called up soon after I registered. Think she was worried about me, she came down and accompany.
My family doctor is just so adorable, a middle age female doctor. Don't know why, she always have a way to make me smile even when I am freezing under the cold air conditioner.
Had dinner with mom afterwards. Didn't know she's interested in Singapore Idols! She was discussing with me who has a higher chance of winning. Shopped around before a ride home.
My thermometer just shows 38 degree celsius, high fever. oh well.
Day 4 in Kuala Lumpur
Today the last day of our stay in Kuala Lumpur. Packed our stuff and checked out. The hotel was kind enough to take in our luggages while we did our last minute shopping at KLCC Suria.
Had dinner at this resturant, Madam Kwang (Hope I got it right), that serves both chinese and malay fares. I had kway teow soup while the rest ordered western, chinese and malay fares.
Did a real last minute shopping since we need to return to the hotel before 5 and catch our coach at 5.30PM. I bought a Levis T Shirt, yeah.
Rushed back to hotel via KLCC Park, took quite a few photos on our way back. Was almost late for our coach, reached the bus station at 5.35PM and the cab driver was giving us a lesson on history, mainly biased on their side. He seems to have a clear hatred against our government.
Indeed, there's a different for first class coach. Messaging chairs with attached LCD and meal onboard. Cool eh? Meal was McDonalds, we got to select what we want and a stewardess serves us while we are on the highway back to Singapore. She look into the smallest details, asking us whether is it cold and need a blanket. luxury eh?
Watched Meet Joe Black and Windstuck on my personal LCD. Great shows, almost cried for Windstuck, a touching Korean movie.
Arrived at Golden Miles Complex at 11.40PM. Headed to Kallang River to watch some Thai festival celebration going on there. Dad came later to pick me up, since it's almost midnight, asked dad whether is it possible to send everyone of them home.
That ended my Kuala Lumpur trip.

Do you blog?
Someone asked me today, "Do you blog?". For a minute, I couldn't think of an answer. The true is, I do blog, else you won't be reading this. But, if I widen my targeted audience, I will have less to write about, since I don't want to let some of my daily ranting hurt others.
So I lied. *grin*
Coming down with a fever, dry cough and running nose. Never felt like this for a long time, must have been the late night sleep over at Kuala Lumpur. Sisters back today, usual stuff, chatting etc.
Called dad out in the late afternoon to visit SITEX 2004 at Singapore Expo. Got myself a TDK DVD+/-RW writer and a few DVD+R media to try it. Imagining storing 4.7GB of data on a single disc, pure madness eh? The good ol' CDR only stores 700MB. Just think of the number of anime I could burn on a single DVR+R, woohoo. Go figure.
Had dinner with dad after SITEX 2004 at Kallang Old Airport Market. Delicious wantan noodles and fried oysters with eggs for dinner.
Could hardly believe it, one more week to the new semester. I'm just starting to enjoy the holiday and it's gonna end in 1 week time? Give me back my december holiday! oh well.
Day 3 in Kuala Lumpur
Started the day with a stroll down the KLCC Park to KLCC Suria. Had our lunch at this resturant serving pizza and pasta. Personally, I'm fine with pizza and pasta, but having it in Kuala Lumpur when you can easily find one in Singapore? It's not like it's cheap. Bleah. Anyway, the most expensive lunch in Kuala Lumpur during the trip, RM$120.
Took a cab down to Bejaya Time Square since the rest of them wanted to try the Theme Park. Had a hard time searching for the right cab, even when the whole of KLCC Suria is filled with cabs waiting for customers. This cab driver wanted RM$30 for the 5 of us. Alright, better luck with the second one, RM$13.
Given a chance, I won't have try the Theme Park. I'm too old for such thing, but since the rest of them wanted it, why not. I'm not going to go into details, basically there's this machine that goes round and round, suppose to make you dizzy and vomit, another robotic arm that turns 360 degrees that caused you to drop off your coins from your pockets (during the ride, I was clutching my digital camera in my pocket, the ride isn't scary, but the thought of my digital camera dropping was), bumper cars (I guess no explanation for this), merry go round and some kiddie train ride.
After all the rides, I was having a bad headache and almost vomitted. Some moron kept turning the seat in the Merry Go Round ride.
Headed to the shops over at Time Square and bought some snack for my family. I doubt they're interested, just bought it for the sake of buying it. Headed to Body Glove where Ronald bought the sling bag he's been eyeing ever since the second day.
Had a light dinner over at this mobile steamboat van. In Penang, they call it "Lok Lok". This auntie who was enjoying herself there chatted with us, telling us how expensive things were in Singapore and compared the size of the shopping centres of Singapore and Malaysia.
Bought beers, alcoholic drinks, chinese dumplings from Giant and also KFC. Had quite a mini feast at our suite. Know what? The room service even go the extra mile and provide us with cooking oil and chinese vinegar.
Watched Taxi and The National Treasure before tucking in.

Give me a break.
Woke up with a fever, sore throat and running nose. AGGRH. I hate it when I'm sick. Suppose to go out to settle mom's stuff and also shop at computer fair - SITEX, Singapore Expo. Too sick to get out of house, sigh.
Mom just commented on my overwhelming collection of black tee shirts. Heh, bought a few pastel color tee shirts from Abercrombie & Fitch and Levis back at Kuala Lumpur to lighten my closet.
The school administrator removed the page to check on the new timetable, so there is no way you can check on your timetable. Wait for it to be released on 2nd of December.
Day 2
We had plenty of fun the night before so we couldn't really woke up early today.
Started off by a stroll down KLCC Park, which is just a short distance away from our hotel. Amazing sight over there. Over at KLCC Suria, we stopped by Auntie Anne for pretzel. Guess what? It's almost half price when you convert it to Sing Dollar!
Took the LRT to Dangi Wang to transfer to the monorail service. It wasn't linked, so we walked quite a distance to the monorail distance. Alighted at Imbi Monorail Station which is where Bejaya Time Square is located. Bejaya Time Square is a huge shopping complex which has 2 hotel buildings linked to it and has the biggest indoor theme park. 9 floors of shopping madness, but most of the shops on the top floors are unoccupied.
We stopped by Body Glove, the rest of them will enjoying themselves over there, the clothings over there doesn't appeal to me, so I just help them in choosing the design and colors.
Late lunch next at Time Square's Delifrance. Nothing to rave about, normal stuff back in Singapore.
Walked to BB Plaza for window shopping. Ling was looking for a certain Fossil watch, so we stopped by a watch retail outlet and asked around. Didn't get anything.
Decided to have our dinner at Chinatown, but after realizing we are so close to Jalan Aloy, we stopped there for dinner. Quite a feast, wantan noodles, "ba tu ka", claypot rice, kung pao chicken, fried eggs and stir-fried tofu.
Walked to Chinatown after that. Gosh, it's a long walk there, like 25 min. Chinatown at night is so much different from the day, it's bursting with life with streets filled with stalls retailing clothings.
Took a train back to our hotel and spent the night watching VCDs we bought at Jalan Aloy.

Great to be home!
Woohooo! I'm back from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This was the most exciting trip compared to my previous trip with the same group of people to Penang, Malaysia.
Here's a breakdown of my trip, gonna be long winded, so grab some popcorn and enjoy.
Day 1
Arrived at the bus terminal at 3.30AM in the morning. The scariest moment of the trip for me. It was dark and the street was filled with taxi drivers touting at the tourists, like us. We were walking to nowhere until we stopped near a hotel to check on our map. This chinese taxi driver was shouting at us, telling us not to go any further down.
We decided to hop on the taxi and head for the nearest place where we can find food. I wasn't that hungry at that time. Cab fare was agreed on, they don't use meter for goodness sake. We stopped at this place called Jalan Aloy where there's a few stalls still open. Had fried rice and a plate of fried eggs, decent stuff.
We had the idea of walking to our hotel even though we don't know where are we. Finally we give up hope and took a taxi to our hotel, Suitestay Executive Residences.
Being the one who settled all the paperwork and accommdation, I approached the reception and asked when is the earliest time we could check in. My instinct tells me that they were sort of expecting us. The moment I told him my name is Mr. Brandon, he added on, Mr. Brandon Wong? I did sort of mention about early check in with the Guest Manager in my email.
First impression of the room was, spacious! A living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms with toilet each. Not to mention a dressing room for one of the room and a mini TV for the other room.
We had a short nap for a couple of hours before setting off for Malaysia's Chinatown, Jalan Petaling. The LRT ride was alright, a short length carriage, smaller than Singapore MRT but bigger than our LRT. We alighted at Pasar Seni Station, a few minutes walk away from Chinatown. We had our lunch at this coffee shop serving rice with vegtables. Frankly speaking, it's kinda gross, cos I hate rice with vegtables, the rest seem to enjoy themselves though.
The daylight Chinatown was boring. I tried to search for interesting souvenir for my friends back in Singapore, but it seems that all the stalls were selling a metal impression of the Petronas Twin Tower.
Headed to the Central Market for more shopping. The group stopped by Famous Amos for a break. A few dollars cheaper than Singapore, so I guess the cookies was worth it. For me, I headed to the pharmacy to purchase prescriptive drugs, saved myself a few dollars.
On our way back to our hotel in the late afternoon, we stopped by Dunkin Donuts for donuts! You can't find it in Singapore with the last branch closed at Junction 8, so we were going gaga over it.
A short nap again and woke up at 7.30PM. Walked down to KLCC Suria (Petronas Twin Tower Shopping Mall) for our dinner and shopped around. You can find almost all the branded stores over there, Burberry, CK, Armani Exchange, Quiksilver, Diesel, Levis, etc. Dinner at the food court, had oven baked fish with bla-la-chn (is that how you spell it).
Watching The Incredibles again was sure boring. I wasn't in my best of mood then after bring forced to watch it again. I hardly watch any movie twice.
Ended the day after a late night walk from the midnight movie.
A short conclusion for Day 1. My impression of Kuala Lumpur wasn't very positive. From the newspapers, you can always find articles on the horrible crimes committed over there. After the first day, I find it rather safe after all.

Spent the whole afternoon packing my stuff, worrying if there's enough clothes to last throughout my stay over at Kuala Lumpur.

Timetable Woes
I'm wasn't really in the best of mood since the previous night. Timetable out and there is absolutely no one in TB030 that's in the same class as me. So it's kinda back to square one again, making new friends, looking for quality group members and lunch mates. Heck, this sucks. I'm not completely introverted, but it's hard to start the ball rolling. I am not choosy when it comes to group members, but neither do I accept those kind that just slack off and leech off from his members' effort. My first year was a good example.
With the help of Sharon, providing me with all the names she could think of, I turned the database upsize down and consolidated a list of the cohort's classes. Someone nicknamed me the timetable king, heh. I think it has become part of my hobby before every start of a new semester.
Perhaps being alone in a class isn't a bad idea after all, you talk less, you pay more attention, you have nothing on your mind but just homework. Yeah, like a complete nerd. Anyway, I'm not gonna end up like this completely, Wen Bin in my french class, how cool could that be? He's like the smartest and coolest guy around in my course.
Sisters back! Woohoo, got my suit and matching pants. I'm not sure whether will there be a chance to wear it next semester for presentations and such, for my course, it's more of a formal tie and shirt attire, wearing a suit in the eyes of many is just overdressing and frowned upon.
My luggage bag still empty, I think I will just spend my afternoon packing my stuff tomorrow. Will be departing Singapore for Malaysia tomorrow at 10PM, I guess it's still early to pack now.

Shopping @ Bugis
Headed to Sim Lim Square to do some shopping, bought screen cover for my iPod and Sony Ericsson cellphone.
Bugis Junction next. Wanted to have fast food for lunch, but the crowd at McDonalds and KFC was overwhelming. Decided to have my late lunch at Delifrance. Chicken Shepherd Pie, Corn Soup, 2 slices of gralic breads and a tall cup of latte. Great stuff.
Bought Levis and Renoma stuff from Seiyu. Levis giving this cool cellphone pouch for every purchase of $180, looks cool eh? Redeemed this cool Parco Bugis notepad free with every $50 purchase later.
Timetable out. Sadly, I'm alone this semester with no one I know. Kinda sucky.

Holland Village
Joined Ronald, Ling and her friend, Ah Siew (Uh, I forgotten her name) for lunch at Geylang East Market. We had fish soup with rice, yeah, good stuff, need to wait for half an hour just for it. While waiting for Zhi, we went book browsing at the nearby library.
Took a train and bus transfer before reaching Holland Village. Been there quite a few times with dad, ages ago. I remember it's one of his favourite hang out. Besides the roadside cafes, there's the Holland Shopping Centre, retailing mostly decorative items.
We parted way with Ah Siew at Bugis and decided to watch The Incredibles. I hardly watch animation movie, I must say it's the most interesting animation after Finding Nemo.
Had dinner at the basement food court before parting way with Ling and Zhi. No photos for today outing though I did bought along my camera. Had a bad headache after stepping out of the library till I reach home.
Popped a few aspirin pills, gonna have an early night today, got to wake up early for my last minute shopping before the Kuala Lumpur trip on monday.

I got the blues
Been listening to England Jazz FM 102.2 lately. Rather refreshing to listen to a non-local radio station and they play jazz, fusion, latin and blues like no other stations in Singapore.
Got up early for my haircut today. Nothing special, the usual short sloping style. Shopped at NTUC Supermarket after my haircut, got a few cans of Coke Light and snack. Tried mixing Vodka and Coke Light, taste weird but still drinkable.
Meet up with Ling and Ronald later at night for dinner. Seems like one of them know about my blog. Hmmm... now who could be the one?
17 days to a new semester, that's like 2 and half a week more. So looking forward to a carefree timetable, imagine 11 am to 2 pm, no early morning and I got to reach home early. Ahhh. Isn't that great? Dream on.
Got up early for my haircut today. Nothing special, the usual short sloping style. Shopped at NTUC Supermarket after my haircut, got a few cans of Coke Light and snack. Tried mixing Vodka and Coke Light, taste weird but still drinkable.
Meet up with Ling and Ronald later at night for dinner. Seems like one of them know about my blog. Hmmm... now who could be the one?

Singapore Motor Show 2004
Had a date with dad today, to visit Singapore Motor Show 2004 at Suntec. Woke up in the morning, had my lunch and had my round at Need for Speed Underground 2 while waiting for him to come over and pick me. We started off by having tea break at a traditional hainanese coffee shop over at East Coast.
It's a heaven over at the Motor Show for car lovers, 2 floors of exhibition halls taken just for this. The Lexus booth was the most impressive compared to the rest, they have a pianist playing in the background, live entertainment or what? Alright, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

The night before must have been the earliest time I tuck in, all because of the Polytechnic Forum early today. Woke up at 5 in the morning and decided to play punk, yeah, decided to give it a miss. I guess it doesn't reflect well on my Polytechnic should I fall asleep throughout the duration of the forum, you know, for the sake of the greater good.
Boring day as usual, watched CSI: New York in the afternoon and the original CSI at night. Guess I'm turning into a CSI freak, it's CSI: Miami tomorrow!
What's up with those people spreading rumour around? My friend's friend told her the new semester timetable is out. Utter rubbish. She saw this weird number besides the course and she thought it's the class code, good imagination eh? Then she starts spreading to all her friends that the new timetable is out, when it's just a code she's seeing.
Oh, after my friend told me about it, I did a check, it's just the course code. So much for the excitement.
Loving my Sony Ericsson so much. I spent one straight hour editing mp3s and "bluetoothing" it over from my Powerbook to my Sony Ericsson. Now I have ABBA - The winner takes it all as my ringing tone. Didn't know editing mp3s could be so fun, you know, fading in the starting and fading out the ending.
Gonna do a review for it soon.

I'm slacking.
Woke up to realize that it's 3 in the afternoon, oh well. I think I just set my sisters off on a phone upgrading frenzy, all of them were excited and was bombarding me with questions on my Sony Ericsson K700i.
One sister of mine, who swear by Nokia phones was captivated by the beauty of Sony Ericsson. Look like I didn't make a bad choice after all.
Most of my appointments today were cancelled as I couldn't get my work complete in time. My plan to visit Singapore Motor Show 2004 with dad was cancelled too. Sigh.
One more week before my Kuala Lumpur trip, haven't prepare anything yet. There's the arrival/departure form to fill, money to convert to and a suitable luggage to use. The former luggage bag I used for my Penang trip, the zipper sort of, came loose. My house is filled with luggage cases but not a single bag, think I will have to get one soon.
Yeah, sister passed me a few hundreds for my trip. Nice of her to sponsor eh?
Just chatted with a ex-buddy of mine from Montfort. Reason for addressing him as ex-buddy was, many things have changed ever since school transfer. He always getting himself to all kind of silly trouble instead of concentrating on his studies. He's enlisted into National Service, now waiting to enter his camp.
Anyway, he wanted to setup a game server. I think I'm associated with Sim Lim Square, new computer, fix computer and virus.

In memory: Nokia 6610 (2003-2004)
I'm totally pissed off today. Why can't people think for themselves and others? I had to do the dirty job of resolving the matters for them and thinking every moment about it is causing a mental breakdown for me.
I don't know how to face this anymore, I just hope everything will resolve as soon as possible.
Bad news aside, I finally bought my Sony Ericsson K700i! Met my sister over at Compass Point in the afternoon, we had lunch and discussed about my Kuala Lumpur trip, which she worried for me as I will be arriving Kuala Lumpur at 0400 in the morning and an early check-in is subjected to availability.
Queue at Singtel Hello! Shop was rather short, like one person before our turn. My last encounter at Bugis Hello! Shop was a long 30min wait. Did my preparation before that, transferring my contact list from my phone to the SIM card, but turn up the messages didn't get transferred. I was rather sad after realizing it, well, first love is always the sweetest.
I am a happy boy with my new phone! You know, trying all the features and leaving my fingerprints all over. Before that, I was deciding between the Nokia 6230 and Sony Ericsson K700i, after looking at that puny Nokia screen, I made my decision.
Shopped around Compass Point with sister before joining Mom at Heartland Mall for her marketing. Had dinner together before another round of shopping before we're on our way home.
Oh, just remember receiving this call from the Students' Union, asking me to join a group of other members to represent the school in a Poly Forum held at Singapore Polytechnic. Gosh, they can't even get my name right! This Alvin called me and goes, "Hi, is this Bar-don or Bang-don? Eh, I don't know how to pronounce your name!" I told him I'm going but after he told me the time I have to reach school, I wasn't that keen anymore. Who knows? I might play punk on that day by not turning up.

Geylang Serai revisited.
Meet up with Ronald, Ling and her brother at Parkway Parade today. Was held up while on my way there due to the heavy traffic over Geylang Serai. Reminds me of Chinatown when the Chinese New Year is approaching, people rushing to prepare for the Chinese New Year celebration, quite a sight to behold.
Saw Carol over Parkway Parade. How nice of her to treat us while she's working. Really appreciate her treat though it doesn't really worth much to us.
Had late dinner with them over at this Chinese Restaurant, opened by Yao Ming, the tallest Chinese NBA player. Their specialty is noodles. Personally, I think there's nothing special about it, serving is more than enough and the noodles texture is like Singapore's thick been hoon.
Walked to Geylang Serai and as usual, it's snacking time! I bought this Japanese pizza thing with Salmon filling. I think it's awful after taking a bite back home. Overdosed with flour and I can hardly find any salmon in it. I think they should rename it as, "Japanese Pizza with salmon flavour".

Chill' out at Chinatown
Went out with Zhi, Ling and "Max Joe" to Chinatown today. I have to eat my words, I told them I wasn't going, in fact, in a aggressive manner. As usual, I was late again. First, I forgotten about my wallet which I have to make detour back. Secondly, I walked to the train station to make up for my jogging session today.
Headed to Maxwell market for our dinner - Congee. I think it's delicious. We had pork and sliced fish congee before Ronald joined in. We took a stroll down Ang Siang Hill, famous for gays cruising. I think we were early, but we did saw some suspicious males lurking around.
Walked down Amoy Street before reaching Far East Square and had another chill' out session over there. Saw Charlotte over there too. Over there, the place is crowded with the working class population, I think it's a cool place for chill' out session.
Took the same bus with the rest of them, but ended up over at Ling's place to collect Ronald's stuff. Shopped at Shop n' Save and I missed my last bus again. oh well, I have to called Dad to fetch me again.
Been a great day today. It's a holiday tomorrow, I suppose I will be staying in to avoid the holiday crowd

Met up with my friend over at Singapore Post Building to settle the accommodation over at Kuala Lumpur. Actually we are gonna take the train down to her aunt's office to fax since neither of us have a fax machine. Somehow, I have a feeling Singapore Post provides faxing service, so went in and give it a try. Yeah, turn out I'm right. Gave the hotel a call minutes after faxing over the stuff, everything is confirmed now.
Took a train down to Simei to meet up with Chan Hui. Passed him my Basic Driving Theory guide book since he's taking his test somewhere next week. Toured around the nearby shopping mall - Eastpoint, I must say it's quite a boring mall, except for the huge pets' shop on the first floor.
Next was Meiling's house to fix her computer. It seems that our friend failed to get it up after 2 attempts. Anyway, this was the second most powerful computer I was ever called in to help, Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz with Hyperthreading and DDR400 512MB (256MB on dual channel). Managed to get it done after half an hour and spent the rest of my stay searching for information on our Kuala Lumpur trip.
Headed to Geylang Serai (again) with her and the brother to shop around. Bought food and meet up with Dad for a ride home.
Excitedly looking forward to this weekend, Saturday to meet up with sister to get my new cellphone and Sunday with dad to visit The Singapore Motorshow 2004.

Holiday Preparation
Headed to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority with Ronald, Meiling and her siblings to settle our travel documents. For me, I'm just there to get a extension chop on my passport. It's the National Service thing, as long as you are liable for National Service, your travel document must be extended yearly.
Walked down to Golden Miles to purchase our coach tickets. Gonna be a first class coach back from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. I think it has been advertised quite a few times on television, massaging chairs for all 16 seats, Audio Visual on Demand, video games, food served on board and attendant to serve us too. Kinda like airline eh?
Window shopping at Suntec with Ronald, Meiling and her brother. Dinner next over at Suntec food court. Her brother using Sony Ericsson K700i, tried the functions of the phone and it's quite easy to handle for a die-hard Nokia user like me. Sisters are great!
Today has been a great day! Because it's Family Day! My self-declared Family Day actually. I got the go-ahead with my cellphone upgrade, with everything paid by my sister! Most likely getting it this saturday or next week.
Might be watching MAMMA MIA! this week with my sisters. Couldn't confirm yet as my many other sisters need to check their schedule.
Still deciding between a Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Time for some intense research.

Having a bad headache now, struggled through my work but decided to continue in the afternoon.
Went out with dad today to Compass Point over at Seng Kang in the evening. Just shopped around, nothing much. Dad intend to get a new cellphone, so offered him my advice.
Met Serena over there, she saw me and sent me a message. Wanted to pop over and say a hi, but think she was busy with her work.
Manage to pursue dad to try out the Seng Kang LRT. Actually, it's my first ride too. Dad was simply amazed at the kind of technology that LRT utilized, you know, driver-less system. Anyway, I think this is his first ride on the public transport system. Nothing beats driving around Singapore in your own transport, eh?
Time to ditch the faulty Nokia 6610 for a new one. Just wait till I get the approval from my sister, since I gonna upgrade the plan which she's paying.

Some thoughts to share
Could hardly sleep the night before, mind filled with nonsensical thoughts. Decided to get up and flip through my Graduation Day photos. The emotion is indescribable, you long for the good ol' days, yet you know it's impossible, life has to move on. I see the cheeky smile of my friends, the bond between us and how we struggle through examinations, it just make me long for the life we passed by.
With everyone scattered at the different educational institutions, each having new friends, it's hard to arrange a gathering to meet up sometime. I do miss this friend of mine, which have looked after me back in secondary school. Somehow, we stopped communication right after the big O.
Spent the afternoon watching 2 great videos, Notting Hill and CSI: New York.
I was mesmerized by Julia Roberts' smile, it's very natural and cheerful. As for Hugh Grant, he's a great actor. I'll watch any romance and comedy movies staring Hugh Grant, like Bridget Jones's Diary and Love Actually.
CSI: New York, spin-off of the famous CSI and CSI: Miami series, deserve a thumb up from me. I been a fan of serial with crime as a theme, you should see how excited am I when Channel 5 started airing both CSI and CSI: Miami on both tuesday and wednesday respectively.
School starting pretty soon, 1 month from now, 6th December 2004. One more semester before my internship, I do hope I can get my internship overseas. It will be a dream comes true.

Indian Cuisine
Been raining heavily these few days, I guess it's a wonderful weather when you are staying at home with the cold wind blowing.
Joined Meiling and Ronald for dinner. Indian Cuisine this time round. It's a restaurant near the famous indian temple at Katong. Pretty decent stuff, we had Curry Fish Head, Chicken 65 (it's the name stated in the menu), potato cutlet and dosai with potato stuffing. Curry fish head was good, we ordered the small size and turn up it's more than enough for the rest of us. Chicken 65, weird name but it's just chopped chicken fried in indian spices. Not sure whether the rice is free serving, but it was the most expensive item per person after the curry. Rice on banana leaf with 3 side dishes.

Chomp Chomp night out
Spent the whole afternoon glued on computer screen looking at the USA Presidential Race result. Pretty heated up, Bush gaining a small percentage over Kerry in the early afternoon (Singapore Time) until Floria called on Bush which push the margin between the two even higher. Until the late afternoon, it was on a close draw, 254 votes for Bush and 252 votes for Kerry.
Should Ohio called up for Bush, all is over. Bush will have gathered the 270 votes needed to stay on office.
I suppose we are looking at a new war with Bush retaining the presidency.
Joined the TB030 gang for dinner at Chomp Chomp Hawker Centre. Was kinda late, the bus frequency was like 14 - 19 min per bus and I missed it. Yeah, we had fun over there, good food and great humour. Heineken beer to go along with the food and to celebrate our end of semester result.

USA Presidential Voting Day
Another day like any other, wake up, newspaper, computer, lunch, computer, dinner, computer and sleep. Went jogging in the late evening, not as vigorous as last week but better than my normal jog.
USA Presidential Voting Day, who's gonna emerge as the final winner? Bush. I am a supporter of Kerry, but sometimes the reality is cruel. I bet he gonna resort to underhand method.

It's raining ice cream
I bought $30 worth of ice creams and I think I'm crazy. It was a rainy afternoon, I was refilling my cookie jar and was about to start my gaming session when the ice cream man called, outside my house.
My hand was on a plastic glove and full of shortbreads and my dog was barking madly. I just want them to get lost so I told them simply I will get one tub of Wall's ice cream. Like any salesman, he must have know that I am a easy prey, they start to psycho me to get like 36 cones of Wall's ice cream. No, one tub is fine, please. Why don't you get more? You can store them up to 1.5 years and you can enjoy it slowly.

To make thing worse, mom got me a box of ice cream and my freezer now have like 21 cones and 2 tubs of ice cream?

My hand was on a plastic glove and full of shortbreads and my dog was barking madly. I just want them to get lost so I told them simply I will get one tub of Wall's ice cream. Like any salesman, he must have know that I am a easy prey, they start to psycho me to get like 36 cones of Wall's ice cream. No, one tub is fine, please. Why don't you get more? You can store them up to 1.5 years and you can enjoy it slowly.

Mentioned about the car accident that happeneed to my friend's friend over at Down Under - Perth. Happened to read it today on The New Paper: Sunday Edition, was deeply saddened by it. She survived the first accident but not the second, which she was just an innocent bystander. May she rest in peace.
Today has been very much a normal quiet sunday. Received a job offer to promote a service and assist the general public on the usage of it during one of the IT Exhibition, SITEX 2004. It's during the week when I'm out of town, so most likely if I am keen, I will be working during the weekends. Hey, look! I got myself a vacation job!
