Went back school today. Most of the teachers left, well, at least I still know Mrs. Lim from my CCA. My CCA, well, I guess the tradition will continue on, fewer new members. Gee, the chairman and the vice chairman are a couple, strange or what? LOL. Met the ex TA which everyone was so crazy about, his name is Eric. Introduced myself to him, doubt he know me, since he joined the school after I left as a vice chairman. Boring speech as usual by the principal, I guess the performance are the only event which I enjoy most. Looking at the choir performing bring back fond memories of the time when I performed.
On the bus to sim lim square, met someone who sound and look like Michell. I was shocked when I hear that voice on the bus, when I turn around, oh my god, a exact clone of michell. scary isn't it?
Went to scout for Zip Disk, cheapest which I can find is $13.50. Guess I will give up on getting a zip Drive, will be getting a new USB Thumb drive instead. The SanDisk 128MB USB2.0 costing $108 looks great. Got myself the 12 girls band DVD today.
I think I just look so stupid just now. Well doing my work, I actually doze off in front of the computer and dropped my wireless mouse. Good thing it's still working, else I will have to pay for it.
Will update the background music soon. do check it in a couple of days.

AGGRH. Couldn't make it for business accounting lecture. When I woke up, it's like one hour passed the lecture, goodness, I tried to sleep early, but in the end, still didn't make it. I just hate 8am lesson!
Indo-chinese girls are beautiful. Why do I say that? Hmmm... During one of my trip to Malaysia (Not Penang), I notice this group of indo-chinese people and I just couldn't stop myself from staring at the girls. My friend, Ricky, who is now studying in Perth told me a great deal about them. He's an indonesian afterall. Now my class, there's this indo-chinese girl, woah, I think she's a beauty. Well, I am not the only one making that statement, my friends said that too. :)
Went shopping at Queenway Shopping Centre today with Ronald. We were scouting for shoes and clothing, for the chinese new year. Well, Ronald got his shoes first, a Adidas White shoes with red velcro strip. It look kinda nice, but think it doesn't suit me. I am quite choosey when it comes to shoes, my dad gave up on me many years ago, I simply can't make up my mind on which design. So I spent about an hour and a half before deciding on a adidas shoes. It's those classic design, with the 3 stripes, I know it's kinda common, but it is the best among the rest. The design name is Cntry Rip 3D. The uncle gave me a discount since my friend bought his shoes from the uncle shoes. Cost me a hundred. After that, we bought a t shirt each. Mine is billabong. Meiling joined us after awhile later. She bought hers from the same shop too. Well, discount for her again. :p
We took a cab back to meiling house, actually she wanted to share a cab, so she forced us to share a cab with her. Ronald and I took a bus from her house down to Parkway Parade. Nothing much, just walk around having our dinner.
Going to sleep early tonight. Going back to my alma mater for CCA orientation. Doubt any of the students will remember me, almost all of my friends left the school already. Well, maybe just have a chat with the teachers. :)

Talked to my mom on the zip drive this morning. She isn't that happy that I might be getting a second hand zip drive which going to set me off by $100. She wants me to get a new zip drive cos' she said since I might be using it for the term of my study in Teamsek Polytechnic, why not get a new one?
My mom is that kind of person which would rather spend more than save if the quality of the product is compromised.
Now here comes the hard part, get a new zip drive or get a second hand? The amount I saved from it will be less than a hundred, like $70+.
My longest day in school today. 4 hours of break, due to my psychology tutorial and lecture today. After lunch with han and sharon, went to my psychology class. I was early, don't wanna spend time walking the whole floor looking for the room. Hey guess what, this guy, Gerald is from my class. I was inside the room looking for seat when I felt a hand touching me, oh yeah, that's him. He said something like are you from the same class as me and stuff like this. Actually, I have a slight impression of him after my friend who was from the same class as him told me about him. He's a nice guy, very friendly. If it was for me, I will have just keep my cool.
Psychology was fun, but its those type of wordy stuff which you have to memorize. But my interest is there, just hope I can substain it throughout the semester. My tutor is Mr. Nurfield Jeff. He's a nice tutor, from Canada. Think he married a local and settled down in Singapore. He shown us photos of his wife, children and him. Also, just find out the bookshop conned me into buying the journal book which is not necessary.
Parted way with Gerald as he is going Tampines to meet his friend. Well for me, make my way to photocopy shop to get the student manual for psychology. So happen that Jesslyn and Tian Nee were in his school at the canteen, they called me up and ask me to join them. oh yeah, they were claiming they waited in school specially for me, haha. how true will that be? :p
Went Tampines Mall after parting with them at the bus stop. Just wanna take a look at the price of zip drive and decide whether should I buy it or not. I spent like 30 min over there, looking at computer stuff. Just remembered my printing paper is running low on stock, but just can't that particular brand which I preferred. It's Hewlett Packard Everyday paper. It's slightly thicker than other brand, good quality stuff.
Went back Temasek Polytechnic for my 6-7 psychology lecture. Waited outside for Gerald, but at the last 5 min, he still haven't turn up, so decided to enter myself. The lecture halls of engineering block is so steep, 1 fall and I bet you will end up in hospital. Took a seat at the back row. As the lecturer is introducing the course, Gerald turn up. I make some noise for his attention, but think he's busy finding a seat, ended up me going to the front row to join him, at least, there's someone to talk with.
Well, we exchanged contact number at the end of the lecture and even took bus together with his friend. Not bad, at least someone I know in the psychology subject. Else, thursday tutorial and lecture is going to be so dead.
Collect my photos from the Penang trip at the interchange. Wow, it's nice. Always love using the Fujifilm Press 800 series. Although it set me off at almost double the price of normal film, I am always happy with the end result. Going to show it to Ronald and Meiling tomorrow.
My dad's Altis is ready for registration, looking forward to driving it after getting my licence. Which will still be a long way to go.
Ta ta, going for my shower.
P.S. I am going to scout for cheap Iomega 100MB Zip Disk on saturday. Might be $3 cheaper than what the school is selling. If you are interested, do inform me.

Isn't a great way to start the day with. Spilled a bottle of apple juice on my jeans while waiting for Boss. He asked me to wait for him to enter the lecture hall together, guess what, we are like 5 min late and when I saw him apporaching, he was walking in a relax manner.
Starting to like Networked Multimedia (NMM). Been always wanted to learn graphics designing, guess we will be learning that with Macromedia Fireworks. During Comm skills, my group has to brainstormed on a problem, well, we have fun doing that and also chatted. Surprising to hear Xiaowan (new classmate) saying that I look young, though I always thought I look old and stern.
Today really isn't my day. Great, so using a handkerchief is sissy? If you think it's a yes, I can only tell you that, you have a immature mentality and still living in a world of your own. Yes, you seldom see teens in Singapore using handkerchief and to make that kind of delusion means you have never been aboard nor read about the western lifestyle. IT IS SO COMMON TO USE A HANDKERCHIEF. Well, my friend just irritated me with this kind of thought and I am not really happy about it. My dad use a handkerchief too, so by implying that I am a sissy, is he trying to imply that my dad is one too? Guess what? He apologized, stating that its a lame attempt to crack a joke. Thanks but no thanks, it's not funny.
To add oil to fire, another this female friend of mine, added that you can get infection from using handkerchief. Not that kind of statement which I expect from a life science student who so happen to be attending a lecture on infections. So she said you can get infected with hepatitis using handkerchief. First of all, does she actually know how does one get infected with hepatits? Even though I am not a doctor nor a medical student, I know that hepatitis is passed from eating seafood that is infected or through infected blood transfusion. You know, when she said that, I feel so much like laughing at her, but I doubt she will understand why I am laughing.
The final straw, someone trying to act smart and funny. She added some lame comment and I already trying not to blow my top, I was biting my lip, trying not to burst out, but I couldn't control anymore. Yep, I scolded her, everyone was stunned. Frankly speaking, I have kept my cool since entering polytechnic, they joke, I try to laugh, they insult, I just laugh along. BUT, as long as it involve my family (my dad uses a handkerchief), I will rather forsake the friendship then allow them to make a joke out of my family.
Enough of my woes. sigh.
Went Challenger and decided to invest in a Iomega zip disk, costing me $15. yucks, 100MB costing me $15? I can get a 750MB CDRW at only $2.50. Also got a 8MB thumbdrive at $14, with purchase of the zip disk. Now, should I buy the drive? It will set me off by $170. sigh, why don't the school install CDRW Drive?

Went for Network Multimedia with Han and Sharon today. It's wierd inside a computer lab with only 2 people you know. Multimedia Multimedia is all about HTML codes and perhaps, a little of Javascript. Well, I trained myself in HTML codes a few years back then before I started to use HTML authoring program. Today lab taught only some basic HTML codes, to me, HTML codes is nothing hard to understand, it is the application of it in your website that is the hard part.
Comm skills tutorial. The teacher is much much much..... better than that Mrs. Cheng. At least, for the first week. Now I am in Sharon group with Han and this girl called Xiaowan. So this will be our PBL (Problem based learning). Not bad for comm skills 2, we will only be meeting the teacher for less than 2 hours per week. We had quite a day setting our group's rules.
Met Ron after that. Collecting the T shirt I ordered from him, we went for a drink at Business Canteen before I saw Ivan being alone. Ron is going for his culture and expression CDS while Ivan going for his psychology. Heard from Ivan that today lecture isn't a full house, might be joining his lecture instead.
Bought a levis jeans today with Ronald. It's the engineered jeans series. Think it doesn't look good on me, kinda baggy, sigh. Only find out when I got back home, don't wanna waste time trying over there.
We went back Temasek Polytechnic just to meet Meiling, Su Cheng and Xian Zhi. They are going Parkway, so we decided to tag along. Over there, we went about our business, meiling checking out her aircon while I just look around. Bought the cup which my dad smashed a few weeks ago from Cargo. Think they decreased the price, selling at $1+ now, still remember it cost $3 that time.
Boring night. Going to read my Psychology textbook. ta ta.

Oh boy, how exciting am I, looking forward to my first psychology lesson. Email that Dr. Tay yesterday, he replied today stating that I can't change or jump lecture in a unfamiliar manner, saying other student might not have a seat due to my presence. Oh yeah, can't he just say a simple No, you can't change lecture instead of having so much BS?
Done a search on psychology, seems that there is a examination to get you qualified, it's AQA A, Assessment and Qualifications Alliance A level. If possible, I hope I can take this independently. But what I learning in Temasek Polytechnic isn't the whole of the AQA AS examable subjects, there's altruism, aggression bio-rhythms, sleep, dreaming and media which is not included. The second route to getting recognised for my knowledge in psychology is the IB (International Baccalaureate), which might be considered if I am taking it prior to my entrance to university.
Another target in life. tata, going to have lunch now before going school.

First day of school, left my house with my crisp clean crumpler wennie (that's my bag, if you are wondering). Got my mom to wash it for me the day before, now it smells great!
Took a cab to Toyota showroom to settle the documents once and for all, been putting this on hold for awhile. Over there, called the salesman on his mobile and he came down from his office and look through. Think there's one part signed wrongly, he was like cursing away, oh shit and stuff like this. I was like, hey, I am the customer?!? Anyway, he said if there's any problem he will send someone over to my house to sign.
Took a cab again to school. The taxi driver was in a explorer kind of mood, he wanted to try the new express route to my school. Since I still have 30min left, I just go ahead and make him happy. Wow, it's kinda fast, must make my dad to go that route too.
Met Nad, Boss, Peter, James and people outside the lecture hall. They were like, wow, you are still the same. Then Peter added something like, hey he never wear another T shirt inside. LOL, totally speechless. Micro econs seem to be the same as Macro econs except for some additional details. I just hope I can cope this the same as macro econs. Sup paper is not an option.
4 hours of break, yucks. Went for lunch with Jess and group. No chance to meet any of my new classmates as only having 2 lectures today. Went library to take a nap after that. The place is cosy and nice for sleeping, but the seat isn't. I can't rest my neck properly and the seat just isn't soft enough. Anyway, manage to fall asleep for a couple of min before Jess leave us for her lesson.
Jess got Japanese for her CDS, which is totally unfair, AGGRH. Why couldn't they let me take French? Never mind, next sem no matter what, I going to appeal until I got french.
Bus Stats is extremely BORING! I just hate mathematics stuff even though my maths got the highest among my O level subjects and taking my Additional Mathematics background, someone like me should have love this subject totally. I just find the whole stuff plain boring, my worse topic in mathematics is Frequency distribution, and this is my first topic in Bus stats. Wow, am I going to flunk or what?
Went marketing with Ronald and Su Cheng after the whole boring lecture. Bought some nuts and shampoo, nothing else.
Sigh, 2 hrs of comm skill tomorrow. Going to be so dead.
Guess I just go read up on my notes now. ta ta.

Wow, my brother-in-law passed his driving test at first attempt. I just hope I won't be flunking my final theory once I am able to take it.
Sunny Sunday, with the passing of Christmas and the approaching of Chinese New Year, it seems that the weather is getting hotter day by day. Gee, another exciting holiday to look forward to. I am so looking forward to Chinese New Year goodies. My parents always drive up to Malaysia to get cookies from Seasons. It's a shop which you can't find in Singapore and the quality is much better, at least for me. I remember last year helping my friend to get 1 can of some new year cookies, she was complaining how average it is.
Sisters and brother-in-law are back today. one of my sister getting the yet to be release iPod (MP3 Player). Might be getting one if it's cheap.
School opening tomorrow, in fact, it has already opened when I typed this, it's way over 12. Going to rush to the car showroom to hand the documents to that salesman and pay him the deposit. Still got a lecture to rush at 10 AM. Just hope I won't be late for my first day of school. *Grin* My dad gave me 2 cheques, signed but the payee and amount is empty. Well, I guess my dad trusted me, else he won't have gave me 2 empty cheques.
okie, going to sleep.

Went shopping alone. Went Suntec and got the "12 Girls Band" CD, it's dirt cheap for a HDCD (High Definition Compatible Digital), at the price of $9.90. Nothing much to shop over there, my sole intention of going to Carrefour is just to get the disc, heh.
Bugis was next. Got some files, school opening, going to store my notes and stuff. It was already 4 in the afternoon and realize that I didn't have my lunch yet! Survived the whole afternoon walking around shopping centres on an empty stomach. Grabbed my lunch over at one of the jap fast food restaurant before continuing my shopping. I was walking when I start feeling dizzy, think must be the empty stomach just now, no choice, took a bus and went home.
Just watched a late night or rather, morning movie on channel 8 jusr now. The story is very touching and heartwarming. I was crying when the movie ended. It's about how this guy who gave up his rich family for the girl he liked and gaving hope even when everything was against him, he couldn't find a job after graduating and being defeated in court by his father and brother. The wife, was diagnosed with lung cancer due to second hand smoke from the husband smoking habit. She was given 3 months to live but she wanted to see through her husband succeeding in his career and bringing up her 4 children. She did not tell her husband so as not to bring him any trouble in bringing up the family. In the end, she manage to live beyond the 3 months, but in the 3rd year, her cancer was at the terminal stage. Ironically, his husband was also diagnosed with lung cancer after discovering his wife illness. The thought of committing suicide was in the husband's mind, but the wife make him promise her not to give up his life as she don't want the children to be orphans as she was a orphan too. Alas, the wife passed away and the husband manage to get his lung cancer cured. The ending is very saddening. I cried throughout the whole show.
Reality is cruel. sigh.

Reality is cruel. sigh.

Went Sim Lim Square with Meiling and Ronald today. Suppose to shop for Chinese New Year clothes before the school term starts. Ronald went to collect his pay, while Meiling was looking at the pricelist, she is going to build a new computer. Over there, was very much tempted to get the "12 girls" DVD. It's a live musical performance by this 12 girls, playing on their musical instruments. Well, in the end, decided not to get it for the moment.
After dinner at the nearby market, we walked to Pennisular to take a look at shoes. We got stopped by this indian, who asked to translate for him in chinese to this chinese guy. It's about this chinese guy, bringing his HiFi for repair, but the indian wanted to tell him that he need to bring back to the distributor or wait for 2 weeks for them to send it back. In the end, the chinese manage to understand what we trying to say.
Bought Norah Jones album, so excited to listen to it once I am home. We went Suntec after taking those feeder bus from city hall MRT. Well, met Kenny there. He was with this girl which he denied when I asked him whether is it his girlfriend. Gee... look like someone isn't that honest here. heh. We walked around Suntec, looking at clothing when Kenny wanted to go City Link to get those aromatic oil from Body Shop. Well, couldn't get what he wants over there, ended up at the Raffles City Body Shop that he settled for another type. It's oceanic something. Smells great! Over there, that girl, caiyun(?) wanted to go home, think it's kinda late for her. We wanted to go some cafe to settle down, but she don't wish to go. I expected Kenny to send her home, oh well, he bid her farewell and joined Ronald, Meiling and me. Kenny was so crazy, LOL. He's spotting gay couples and telling us how to spot one. Well for the record, he's not gay. Just that both of us have a close friend that is one. Not to mention name, yea? Anyway, we don't discriminate against homosexuals, I know a couple of such friends too.
So we set off to Siglap (or Singlap?). They wanna go Coffee Bean, but it so happen that it was full house for Coffee Bean and all nearby cafes. Hey, passed Simply Thai, remembered Chris was working there. Didn't manage to see him there, except for 2 staffs doing the closing.
We walked straight down from Siglap Shopping Centre and found a table at "The Cheesecake Cafe". The menu comes in the form of a CD Cover, where you open it to look at the stuff they are selling, kinda cool eh? So I ordered Gourmet Coffee and Homemade Cheesecake with peach. Meiling ordered American cheesecake and ice chocolate, Ronald, iced tea and lastly, Kenny, Cold Milk (What the hell, drinking milk at a cafe?!?) and wedges to share with us. Well, mine cheesecake isn't as good as Meiling, it's those sticky type, not to my liking. We were so crazy over there, laughing so loudly, chatting about stuff. Kenny going to organise a Kyat outing next friday at Sentosa. Going to make that day free for this.
Parted way with Kenny at 0015. YEAH, and we missed the last bus. Lucky Kenny, zzz, he's staying nearby. So we walked to Parkway Parade and got my dad to fetch us home. Tsk, feel bad always asking my dad to fetch me home. The day is gonna change when I got my driving licence.
Gonna sleep, kinda late now. ta ta.

Surprising to wake up so early even though I came back at the wee hour of the morning. Well, New Year was boring. Spent the evening watching Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring DVD on my computer.
Anyway, wrote my reflection for year 2003 and my new year resolution. Somehow, reminds me of english lesson, being force by the teacher to write such stuff. Anyway, let's just continue my secondary school tradition.

Went to fix Ronald's computer on the New Year eve. Ever since he got his internet, his computer has been infected with trojan horse and stuff. Couldn't really help much, I thought it's more of a virus thing, so bought my antivirus disc along, but now it seems to be more of those popup software which always prompt you to accept when visiting website.
We went for claypot rice after running his defragment software in his computer. It's quite nice, the chili is great! Meiling joined us later. We took a MRT to Pasir Ris MRT for the Downtown East countdown. We booked tix for LOTR: Return of the King too at Tampines Mall through my handphone.
It's very packed over at Downtown East, saw Anita Sarawak performing, her voice is great! We manage to squeeze in where the screen are and just chatted and wait for the countdown. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year! Woah, everyone was spraying their confetti cans! We stayed there awhile before making our way down to Tampines Mall.
Personally, I think LOTR: Return of the King is great. But a little draggy. I think Frodo is so weak, that Samwise dhould be the ringbearer. By the time the show was over, it's 4.00AM already. oh mine, we got out of the building, get some drinks from Cheers before walking under the MRT tracks from Tampines Mall. To save cost, I guess.
In the taxi, Ronald was making some lame jokes, but still, it's funny. Especially one which makes the driver laugh. haha. We sent Meiling home, followed by Ronald and lastly, me. I stay quite far from them, so I guess it's just right for me to be the last. The cab fare was $20, will absorb the cost myself, since Meiling paid more than half of the tix cost cos I didn't bring much money with me.
Back at home, my mom thought I was going out. She saw me and asked where you going in such hour. I guess dad didn't tell her about me coming home late. Take a quick shower after drinking a cupful of liquor. In the bathroom, I was kinda in a light headed, couldn't kind coordinate my leg movement well. Well, tucked in after reading the newspaper.
