I guess when you are in a state of unluckiness, nothing you do sure come out right. Got reprimand by Mrs Chan for coming late when I was actually waiting at the wrong room. Not once but twice, reprimand again for doing the wrong notes for the self directed learning. Gee, can't she just use simple Queen's english in her email? Practically no one know that she was referring to my notes in that email. If she could have make herself clear, I will have get everything done and corrected last week. It's not like I am free and available to do it now with my coming microeconomics essay, psychology presentation (Gosh, they just push everything to me), business accounting test and who know what else might be coming.
Not the end yet. Guess what? All the meeting related books got loaned. Manage to get a pathetic torn-up book. It's not like I am being extreme towards "chee-na" (a nice way to address the chinese), but they make a mess at the section where all the books I looking for are held. It's like the raping off the books from the shelf. I think they are a librarian's nightmare, you should have take a look yourself. Gosh. As if they have a grudge to hold against the librarian, they just left the shelf as it is when they went off. Not looking forward to being accused of the mess, I just left that shelf, where all the wonderful organizational behaviour books are. Racist or what, I don't care, I just resent "chee-na". It's not a sweeping remarks, all of them just leave the same old negative impression. Unless someone can prove me wrong, this will always be a belief which I hold strongly. I quarreled with my pop over this issue, trust me, my pop think they are the next America. Oh come on, pig can fly if that happens.
Struggling with my essay which will be due on friday. Organizing Production will be my essay topic. At least I won't have to present it to the whole class. Presentation isn't what I specialize in. Looking forward to the end of the semester.
Dumb MediaCork. Don't know what's up with them, fancy dumbing CSI today just for that American Idol. I think reality shows are dumb and a hoax in nature. I think Clay Aiken is fine, but having so many american idols? They devaluing the idols. If next week CSI got cancel again, I will give them hell. On second thought, hmmm... maybe I just grumble over here. And again, GIVE ME BACK MY CSI!

AGGRH. Bad day for me today. Everything just went so wrong this week. First I forgot to bring my business statistics textbook for my open book test, good thing one of my friend loan me his. Today is even worse. I forgotten about my network multimedia project, left my thumb drive on my desktop after doing some last minute touchup. Forgotten to back the latest version in my laptop, leaving an older version in my web server.
Nothing just goes right for me today. New teacher for networked multimedia, Andrew. He speaks with a strange accent. I think he's not quite use to the Singapore education system here. It's common to use cellphone during lesson or lecture but he went into a rage at the moment someone from my class starts using her cellphone. Although I think it's rude to use cellphone openly during lesson, but I think he went a little too far.
The countless useless emails are getting on my nerve. I can receive 30 mails per day, of which, 55% are virus infested, 44% are spam and the remaining 1% important mails. The most useful invention has become the menace of technology. What's wrong with those spammers? Go get a life.
Speaking of emails, received an email from the British Council. A minimum of grade C for admission to UK universities. 1 or 2 years advance standing depending on the courses. But something to ponder on, my diploma doesn't specialize in any of the 2 fields - Business and Information Technology. Does this gain acceptance for admission? hmmm...

In a dilemma now. Got 2 scanners now, the new one (HP) which I got it at a discount from the IT Show and my current one, Canon. My existing one is in working condition, but I got to offload one of it. I can't decide whether to get rid of my Canon or HP. The Canon one holds sentimental value, can't really bear to sell this. But it will be silly of me to sell the latter since it's new.
Tomorrow gonna let the tutor review on my networked multimedia project 2. Rushing through it now, doing some touch up, adding some content. Better concentrate on it now.

Have a mini family reunion today, everyone was back. In fact, I have it almost weekly during sunday, just that some might not turn up due to busy schedule. My sisters think I am going crazy to plan my varsity life now, on the contrary, I beg to differ. I have see people wasting their life aimlessly after their national service and I don't plan to join them. Interesting fact, my sister was actually from London School of Economics and Political Studies (LSE)! It's part of the umbrella group of University of London just like Queen Nary. I didn't realise that until now. -_- It was my dream school which I aim to make it into reality.
Having a mini test tomorrow, Business Statistics. It sure sucks having a test on monday. I am not in the best of mood to study on a sunday. wee, my 3rd visit to the IT show. Actually, I just want to go to the UK education fair, but went to the IT show too. The UK education fair provides quite alot of information. Quite keen on The University of Sheffield and University of London (Queen Mary). One reason for University of London was partly due to my sister, as University of London was her Alma Mater, though she doesn't attend Queen Marry but School of Economics. Some might thought I am crazy to think about such stuff when I still have 4-5 more years to go (blame it on NS), but I see that as planning my future. :)
Got a TDK CDRW-DVD combo drive and a HP scanner from the IT show. Frankly speaking, I didn't know why I get that scanner. Was a little late for business accounting lecture due to my communication skills online posting. Realise the deadline is today and rushed it straight after I woke up. At least the search result turn up some favourable material, or else, I will be wasting half and hour on it.
After my tutorials, went students' lounge with Sharon and Han. Basically, there's nothing to do over there, unless you want to play pool. So took a nap. Don't know why, but 2 of my friends wanted to watch Haunted Mansion. My first impression of this show was, it's dumb. So when Choon Mei asked me to join her tonight for the movie, I declined. I feel bad actually, cos' I told her I will be free this week.
Went IT Show again. My 2nd times. Turn up Ronald and his friends want to watch Haunted Mansion... sigh, no choice. Bought HP inks since my projects have been draining my inks dry from all the printing. It's a good deal, buy 1 and get the second one at half price. Spoke with the Mac sales rep on the iMac Powerbook and iBook. She go through all the trouble explaining to me even though I told her I won't be buying. Appreciate it very much even though what she explained is just the basic, which I already know. It's fun walking around the hall, just love looking at those products, even though I am poor. :(
At the IT show, got invited to seat down to chat with a girl. If you think I am lucky, think again. That girl is an insurance agent. OMG! Why do I always attract insurance agent? Anyway, the policy she explained was quite interesting, the returns seem to be higher compared to my existing one. Might be swapping.
I don't know why, but one of Ronald's friend don't give me a rather good impression. The only impression of him is arrogant. I didn't speak to him or greet him all the while. From the first time we meet till the movie, no words were exchanged. I rather keep my cool than speak to such a person. I also don't find him on the same wavelength as me. Most likely he will be excited at making kiddish talk looking at his IQ. Pardon me for my rudeness, but I just couldn't take it anymore.
Haunted Mansion was good. I thought it will be on the same league as Spykid. Turn up to be quite interesting. At least it has a good story plot. Went back to the IT show again with Ronald. Couldn't resist the temptation. Wanted to ask my sister to join me since she works nearby, but she went home early. My dad fetched Ronald and me from Funan back home since it's along the way.
I don't know what's up with the female friend of Ronald. In the past, I considered her as a friend, now, she is nothing more than my friend's friend. Because of me, acting coolly, didn't talk to her and her friend, she actually messaged Ronald telling him it's the last time we will meet. The message goes like this "let this be our last meeting together. thanks." Ronald shown it to me, I tell you, I was burning with fury, but I manage to keep my cool. If I am not in the right state of mind, I would have call her up on my cellphone and give her a piece of my mind. Does she ever think before she type that message? Or rather, was she able to think? SHE WAS THE ONE WHO INVITES US TO JOIN HER AND HER DUMBO FRIEND. Such friend, yucks, I rather leave it in the garbage and continue with my life. She's such a lifeless, unintelligent lump of reddish flesh. I really doubt whether her greyish matter even exist in her hollow skull.
ok, feeling much better now. As I say, throw everything in the garbage and move on with life. :)
Sigh, thought I could sleep longer today. Now have to go back school to accompany ting ping with her special admission. I hope she can't wake me up. *grin*

Dead beaten. Drained.
Was surprise that Jesslyn join my class for business accounting, other than that, nothing much happen today. Networked multimedia was free and easy, besides the constant reminder of the deadline. Went for lunch alone at Tampines Interchange food court. No one to join me for lunch since Han and Sharon went for make up lesson, could have join my new classmates, but just wanna be alone. The blue is back again. Nothing interesting at Tampines mall, went there to walk around after lunch. Went to my favourite haunt, Challenger. Everything just look the same.
Psychology lesson was interesting. Self exploration of our own character. From the survey, found out that I am a intrapersonal naturalist and my 2 worse field are interpersonal intelligence. The survey also reveal some other interesting stuff. Mr. Jeff Neufeld was looking for Garett, apparently for a chat after reading my 1000 words complaint letter. Alas, he was lucky not to turn up, else...
Went to take a peek at Silicon Lab after psychology lesson and found Nadia and Mayvis over there. Shown them my website, their comments comfort me, at least I am on the right track. Took a bus with Gareth, he was excited over his flight, he's in the Singapore Youth Flying Club thingy. Maybe after he got his licence, can ask him for a free ride, it will be nice to see part of Singapore from a bird-eye view.
Took a train to Suntec for the IT show. Same old boring stuff, no new technology. All the while, I was eyeing the Mac Powerbook. I was pondering on it. Finally, decided not to get it. Guess I won't be use to the Mac operating system and most of my Windows programs won't be able to run. Suddenly got a craze for strawberry cake, those creamy type with strawberry on it. Went around the cafes in Suntec but couldn't find any. Finally settled for a Banana cake with a Mocha at Coffee Bean.
Don't know why, I am depressed with a slight tint of blue. Most likely going to the IT show again tomorrow, doesn't wish to go home straight after my econs. Maybe I bring my laptop and surf in suntec while slipping a cup of coffee. Hope it rains heavily tomorrow, so it won't be that crowded.

Wanted: Companion or companions to visit London at the end of Polytechnic education (Estimate 2006).
You may wonder why the advertisement. It has been one of my objective in life to visit London or Europe. I was flipping through my book, London Traditions, when it slowly evoke my feelings and desire to visit London. If possible, I hope I can visit London before my National Service. Don't really wish to be alone on an overseas trip, but doubt anyone will join me.
Skipped today networked multimedia lecture today. "Overslept" you might say, I woke up 3 hours before the lecture and decide to give it a miss, so continue on my blissful sleep. I feel wierd skipping lessons, the feeling just isn't right. Just too familiar with my schedule and daily routine, quite out of place when I didn't follow it.
OH MY GOD! Sony Ericsson will be releasing new models! It's so stylish! Should I put off my upgrading plan and wait for this? It will be in August though.

Typed an negative email today to Jeff, my tutor for psychology today. Don't really want to, but this guy haven't been attending any single meeting nor any contribution. Woke up to find a message by him stating that he won't be able to make it today. Vanessa almost blow off her top when we chatted over the phone. Sigh, is it so hard to turn up for a meeting and give some idea for the project? I thought people are old enough think in Polytechnic, especially when polytechnic syallbus are mostly project based.
Networked Multimedia lab was free and easy, suppose to do the veggyfruity website, but completed it. Was experimenting with my project 2 design, not very successful though. Discussed the matter with Vanessa today during lunch, she wasn't very happy. There's a psychology meeting in the evening with Jiaxiang and me to discuss on the presentation, Venessa couldn't make it due to some reason. In the end, I cancelled the whole meeting as I completed the presentation alone since I am bored while waiting for my psychology lecture.
A little happy and excited now. Just figured how to position the div layer and iframe making use of table. Been pondering on this since morning... weee~ It's the kind of feeling you have when you are able to achieve something on your own. The heineken advertisement is totally hilarious! Laugh myself silly viewing the advertisement.

Heavy rain today. Should have bring my windbreaker along, was feeling kind of cold in school today. Having problem comprehending business statistics. I could apply the formulae and get the correct answer, but I don't know what I am doing, I am just solving it blindly, not knowing the purpose. To add on, all the questions look the same, if it's during the exam, I will have problem applying the formulas. Sigh.
Acer laptops seem to be problematic, have problem solving the wireless issue for Alan's laptop. This is not an isolated incident, Chan Hui, Nadia and Ivan laptops all face the same problem. Never encounter such problem for Fujitsu and IBM laptop.
Have 3 tasks to do today. My comm skills research, Networked multimedia veggiefruity and project 2. Could hardly breathe with such tight schedule. Couldn't go home straight after my lab tomorrow since I have to meet my psychology group for discussion. I expect only 3 members to turn up, including me. If that Garett guy didn't turn up, he's gonna get it from us. Leecher shall die! Let him fail his CDS and repeat. No mercy!
Sipping a streaming hot chinese tea at the comfort of my bed. It's so comfortable to drink a hot drink in your own room, with music in the background, doing nothing, just staring at the raindrop falling out of your windows. I could spend the whole day like this and not feeling bored.

Wasn't in a good mood today, rather pessimistic. The chain of events that happened today just isn't something I look forward to. I try to let the day go by as normal as possible, but deep in my heart, I just something isn't right. Trying to seek solace by doing the business statistics tutorials. Finally cheered up later after my friend messaged me. Just couldn't bear to spread my pessimism to her, so I tried to be cheerful which turn up to be a stress reliever.
Have a hard time completing my business statistics. In fact, I didn't even complete it. There's so many questions which doesn't have any example in the lecture notes. Guess I will do it together with Chan Hui during the break.
Got addicted to Ritz. It's a lightly salted plain biscuit, finished 2 rolls of it in just two days. If you have notice, their advertisement are aired in Channel 5 and 8.

Overslept for the X Walk, decided to give this a miss, but Sharon called me up and asked me to go, so I took a shower before boarding a cab. Initally, I was denied the chance to take part by one of the female official, she was determined let to let me go. I tried my best to give a "oh-please-i-beg-you" look, but she just don't want to show any mercy. I went to the back of the counter to called Sharon, telling her I going home now, another official suddenly talked to me, asking me whether did I register earlier on, then she ask me to tell the girl again. Don't really know what's wrong with her, she insisted on her stand of not allowing me to jog, I think one of her senior approached the counter and just ask her to allow me in.
Jogging was fun, except that it's hard to handle on the gravel path. I think the last time I jog was the 2.4 km run during my secondary school days. Manage to catch up with them and we walked back to the starting point. Peter was fourth in the event, got himself Fila voucher. We proceed to Tampines Mall for lunch. Didn't know both AC and Sharon have phobia for milk. After lunch, we went amusement centre to play air hockey. Woah, AC and Sharon are good. Overall, I think both of them are the winners.
Went out again after taking a short nap to ease my legs from the morning jog. Bought a new sling bag from Seiyu, was eyeing this since last week. It's basically a dark green sling bag with leather sling. It's a little bigger compared to my Crumpler Wennie. Wow, met Sharon while on my way to Suntec with my friend. Didn't notice her initally, someone shouted Brandon! I was chatting happily with my friend when I turn my head back, good ol' Sharon dinning with her friends. Bought Divine - A Collection of the most distinctive voices CD. Had a hard time deciding which CD to get. I wanted to get Norah Jones new album and a Jazz compilation badly. I can always download them, but I will support any artist which are talented in my opinion.
Wanted to wish my friend a happy belated birthday, alas, she thought I was up to something and tell me off. Her behaviour is of the unkindest cut. What was meant as a good intention turn up to be like this. Never mind. I will learn from my mistake (is it my mistake at the first place?) and avoid being kind and thoughtful.
