Somebody please just kill me... 50GB of mp3s gone, right before my eyes. I almost use the USB connector to stab myself in the eyes to stop me from looking at the screen.
Norton products are cursed. Their Intrernet Security jammed on me, refuse to install, crash my system. Their Ghost product formatted my whole hard disk with 50GB of mp3s.
The idea of having 2 separate partitions, in case I need to format my computer without touching my personal files failed.I don't know why in the world did Norton Ghost have to touch my mp3s and mix it with the system files.
Goodness, I am only left with my CD compilations, mainly my Jazz collection. Pathetic. Staying overnight for a day or 2 for my class chalet, just can't bring myself to see a almost bare desktop.
I can hardly afford the time to recoup my loss and people are calling me to repair theirs. I told them straigh to the point that I will just give them a call when I am done with my own problem and they just bombard my cellphone with messages. Tsk, talk about understanding.
Back to work. sigh.

It's like less than 2 weeks since my sister came back from Hong Kong and now she's on her way to Japan. more goodies on the way for me. :)
Go shopping without your wallet or cash. This what happen to me today. Left my wallet in dad's car yesterday, when I was on my way out then discover my wallet is nowhere in sight. Luckily I have my plastic, or else it's another day rotting at home.
Bought a Billabong surf shorts, something different from the good ol' jeans.
Wow, didn't know my dad know how to read japanese characters, something interesting.
Class chalet this wednesday, wee, looking forward to it.

Happy Mother's Day, mom. :)
It's a day for celebration, but was cancelled due to mom's condition. I suppose we will be having a belated celebration for her.
I think it's time for some explanation. I was accused of stealing someone's design. Firstly, the design can be easily obtained from Picasa, a photos management software. A little introduction, Picasa, which runs on Windows PCs from Windows 98 to Windows XP, costs $30. And if you never intend to leave Windows behind, Picasa will make your digital life rewarding beyond your fondest dreams.. All those are copied from its website just in case I am accused of copyright. Now if you have a registered copy of Picasa, the design can be easily obtained through the album mode and doing a print screen. When credit is due, I will give, but since I paid for the license, I believe there's no need to put the software name in every of my pictures.
Such shit surely spoil my mood, just imagine reaching home and find shit on your front yard. Shooting shit before knowing. The damage is done, any amount of explanation won't do much help.
Just in case, the pictures above this blog is from my Australia's trip. The blog skin for this, I leave the author name intact in the HTML code. Now if you find me infringing any copyright, I will appreciate a email to clarify before shitting in my tagboard.
I thought of publishing photos of the cute bottle of red wine I bought, but this shit really spoil my mood. I'll publish tomorrow.
out.

Don't be surprise if I just drop dead later.
Make myself a cup of english tea and a slice of lightly buttered bread with sugar sparkled on it. I sat down comfortably in front of my desk, savoring my bread, after 4 to 5 bites, I notice a slight bluish tint on the bread, YEEK! It turn mouldy, yucks.
Maybe I will just end up fine if not, food poisioning.
On the way home yesterday in the morning from Keng Hock's house, I thought about the time when I was still attending secondary school. The cab went past a few students at a bus stop reminds me of myself. Forcing myself up in the morning, take a shower before falling asleep again in the bathroom. If I can afford the time, I will starch my shirt. Walking to the bus stop, joining students in different uniforms. Reaching school just in time, abuse my authority and skip the assembly. Sleeping in class wasn't a big deal, teachers come and go, you just have to greet them when they enter or leave. Recess was fun with snaking queue and impressing girls, with your friends stealing your food. After school was just the beginning of the fun, movie and shopping.
It seems that routine was alot better than the freedom you enjoy in tertiary education.
Friends come and go, the neverending projects, the stress of examinations. You don't do things which you do in secondary school. People more or less show you respect, which lessen up the fun. Projects? When did you see projects was a criteria to pass a subject in secondary school? I enjoy subjects that are realistic but this means you have more to study.
Friends are closer in secondary school. No doubt about it. Try touching your polytechnic friend's groin and see whether you end up with a punch in your face. Not that I enjoy touching people's groin, but this was a way to disturb others in secondary school.
Not that I detest tertiary education. It has its own pros. I am much more independent. In secondary school? I am those that await for the spoon to feed us. Now if you have this mindset, you will be left out. I study on my own without having my sisters to nag at me. Back then, I can just look at the book blindly not memorizing a single text and go for my examination. The work of maturity or tertiary education? Much to ponder on.
How I wish I am young all over again.

Exam results out, yahoooooo! This semseter is better than the previous one and I still maintain the top cohort position. Sorry if I sounds suicidal yesterday, just unhappy with one of the grade.
Headed to Plaza Singapura to meet the gang for our late night movie session. Watched Van Helsing, the instrumental piece of the background music played when Van Helsing travels is superb, however I think the plot is weak. It will be great if they would introduce the past of Van Helsing for easy understanding.
After movie, all of us except for Daniel (tsk, wet blanket) went over to Keng Hock's house for a sleepover. I think we were crazy enough to play Hangman for 2 hours (Give yourself a slap if you don't know what in the world is Hangman). Couldn't sleep after the game, especially when you have people touching your groin (ouch), rolling over you, farting etc. Gross eh? That's what boys do when they have a sleepover, lol. I left early since I could hardly sleep in such an environment, miss my good ol' bed.
Photos are up, but after my strict inspectation, only 2 are worthy for display. Shouldn't have ask that stranger to help us take a group photo, the whole picture was blur, GRRR.

Resigning myself to my fate, it's hopeless, I'm jobless for this holiday, not that I in need of money, but rotting at home for 2 months just sucks. But hey, I am still on the payroll as a website administrator.
Went for my weekly evening jog as usual, nothing out of the ordinary, guess I just add this to make today entry a little longer. Guess it's a pretty lame attempt though.
Now let the picture takeover. Something which I took while in mom's hospital, thought I might just share.

I simply love Polar Cafe Curry puff, yea.
Another of my food obsession. Ever since I was a kiddo, mom always get a couple of those for me when she's in town. A childhood favourite since now.
Went to the hospital today, mom is fine, the doc sure gave me a fright on the first day when he suggested operation. Today the specialist give a all clear status for her. To all those out there that who shows your concern, thanks alot. :)
Going to catch Van Helsing this friday with the gang. Gee, everything planned out, catch the midnight show and a spend the night over at Keng Hock's house.
Gonna tuck in now, going to wake up early to get the laundry done. gute Nacht.

Won't be able to keep up my constant daily for now. Read reason at the ending part.
Monday workshops was fun and unbelievable hilarious! The Power grooming and dining etiquette by Mr. Tan Hsien Wei, one of the hospitality lecturer was interesting and informative, but much of it does not apply to the Singapore context, but still, I love it. The later part of the workshop, Power Speaking Workshop by Mr. Darryl David (Yes, that pyramid show host) was boring and I almost fell asleep. Not that it didn't help, but it's not for the BiT-Interest Group but more for the SL (something leader, bleah).
Headed to Bedok Food Market for lunch with Faith, Michelle and Sharon. I will let the pictures do the talking, or rather, typing. :)
Took the same bus with Sharon and Michelle to Parkway Parade, stopped before them since they are job hunting. Surprise surprise surprise, Daniel was there too. Joined up with him for a little shopping before going to Keng Hock's house to fix his computer. Bought a black billabong shirt, wee, billabong rocks. Wanted to snap a picture of it, but it's in the washing machine now. :p
Keng Hock's house Just like a little town, I don't know how to describe it, but the pool is surrounded by 4-storeys blocks. Wow, his eMac is so cool, although the interface is kinda weird. Bleah, he bought the eMac for listening to songs and playing DVDs, wasted lol.
Mom went to the hospital and called me while I was at Keng Hock's house. Nothing serious for now but will be spending most of my time taking care of her, which means I won't be free to blog but I will be back.
Got to do the household chores. later.

Wee, a new digital camera.
It's officially under my care now. My sis came back and pass it to me, this is gonna be so cool. There's more, she bought along an IT magazine for me from Hong Kong. It's in Chinese, sadly. Well, at least there are photos for me to browse through.
Just completed my daily dose of Band of Brothers. At episode 5 now, which left me pondering on a scene. Is the German solider Winters' friend? That scene showing Winters hesitating on killing that German solider and that part where he have a flashback of that scene in the public transport somehow tell me that there's more to what it seems.
Anyone who watched Band of Brothers care to share their view?
Going to be in school early tomorrow, tucking in early now. ta ta.

Oh great, signing up workshops on our behalf without having the courtesy to inform the participants in advance. What if I am working on that day? What if I am going overseas on that day? AGGRH. So it's back to school early in the morning on a monday. So we need to go through a workshop on Dining Etiquette just to join the executive committee of a interest group? Goodness gracious me, what's next?
Can't I just sleep in peace?
I thought it was dinner when mom woke me up. Turn up that she need my help, not exactly her, but my neighbour. Her daughter having problem with the computer and need to rush her project for submission by tomorrow. I was like, huh? You want me to go over like this? *pointing to my messy hair* She just said something like "Just go, okie? or no dinner for you.". LOL, ignore that part, I added it. I admit, I am shy, so I don't really know what to do when I reach her house, besides, I just woke up. To cut short, yea, I fixed her computer and had my dinner.
A friendship rekindled? Sort of. There this guy which have been a great pal of mine during my year 2 and 3 in seondary school. Somehow, I started to get irritated at his presence and try to find fault with him and avoid him. In time, our friendship sort of break off. Not me, but most of my friends disliked him, so we rally together against him. It's normal during secondary school days, so can't really blame me for being childish. So today, I initiated a chat with him, I was bored. Then we started to talk about school life, personal stuff etc. Gee, we chatted like 4 hours? of course, break in-between.
That's all for today. ta ta.

Why are you waking me up from my dreams? Why are you tormenting me?
I sleeping soundly till my cellphone rang. It's a message, so with my sleeply eyes, I try to figure who is that and what he wants. Is not like I been having a good and complete sleep since monday. I have people messaging me trying to figure up serial number to a certain program. Hey, I ain't your servant at your bid and call. I have people calling me and just to realize it's the wrong person. It goes like this:
*cellphone rang non-stop*
(me): HELLO?
(xx): uh, Hi. May I speak to (dad's name)?
(me): huh?
(xx): sorry, is this (dad's name)?
(me): No, I will get him to call you back later.
No, my dad didn't gave the wrong number, it's me. I diverted all his voice calls to my cellphone becos' his cellphone was running low on battery and he afraid he will miss out important calls. I forgotten to deactivate the function the next day and I had like 10 missed calls. With compliment from his business associates. Great. Called him on his second line to ask him to deactivate the call divert function.
Today, I swear I was sleeping soundly, having all the sweet dreams (no, not wet dreams) when my it rang. Yes, I know you need help in your computer purchase, so I replied, adding "I am still sleeping" behind the message. I thought he would understand, but no, he didn't. He continue to message me. I stopped after the fourth or fifth message. I explained clearly to him, yet, he's still asking the same question. darn.
The night before really freaked me out. I was almost falling asleep when I heard the song Swing Swing by All American Reject playing. I thought I was dreaming, but the song is getting louder. My eyes opened and I saw the room was lit up by a light source coming from the table. No, it's not ET, neither do I have a table lamp. It's my PDA. This is getting eerie, it's switched on by itself and playing song on its own! It's doesn't have an auto switch on and play-a-music function, but yet it's performing all these functions. I switched off and jump to bed. Eerie.
Went back to the Robinson Sales with my parents. Yes, again. Mom discovered that some stuff are missing from the package. I pity the salesgirl, mom was nagging at her, not in a harsh tone but if its for me, I will just irritated. Hmm, the salesgirl resemble Serena, one of my friend who's in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology now. Besides changing for the missing items. The salesman for the pillow was extremely serious in his work, he ripped up new pillow from the pastic cover just to let us test. Gee, I wonder how's he gonna sell those pillows which he ripped out.
Digressing. Thanks Gareth for your comforting words. Your words gave me another positive outlook on friendship.
