"You know what? You're going to be caught for underage driving if you drive"
so said dad, who thought I'm still not mature enough to handle an automotive.
With managerial accounting deadline tomorrow, everyone seems to be a little hardworking. The blinking MSN dialog, mobile message and the call says it all.
Was making mental motes of the tasks to be done while showering, just think of it as a biological mental palm organizer - Legal studies tutorial, hospitality and tourism presentation, a new blog entry... and I realize I don't have a laptop now to have the comfort of typing my blog on bed. Things seem to be routine and we only realize the importance of it after it's gone.
Never mind, I'll just get my work done on my mammoth desktop.

Goodbye, My Love.
The day has come. The demise of an companion that has been through part of my tertiary life, bringing life to my documents, spreadsheets and powerpoint slides, suffering silently from the endless amount of dishing from my fingers and the rough handling of his master.
For being my companion in time of needs and comfort, I salute you, Sam.
Call me weird, but Sam is the name I given to my Fujitsu S6120 since the day he came to my house
Right now, I am missing the familiar sight of a silverish slate with a black bevel lying on my study table. Sigh.
Unless necessary, this would be the last time I am conducting sales between friends. Having people to cast doubts on your character and being misjudged is just too much for me.
I am petty? You have to experience it personally to get an idea how it feels being misjudged.
Goodbye, Sam.

In a mood for depression
Choices - is it freedom or just another game of russian roulette?
The day passed quickly in school. Perhaps I am too excited to visit my Alma Mater for the anniversary celebration. In the end, I was denied entry as the celebraton has long started, it happens every year.
Nostalgia starts to get the better of me when I enter the familiar walkway. The memory of myself in the school was still freshly etched in my mind, getting into trouble every now and then.
How does it feel when one of the canteen operater actually remembers your friends and you and even open up her stall to give us a treat? To actually remember you from the countless students, it sure feels great.
The sight of my ex teachers somehow spurred me forward to have a talk with them. It's a pity that the teacher in charge of my club has decided to transfer out the next year. I am ever grateful to her for giving me the opportunity to prove my worth by electing me to head the club as vice chairman. At the end of my term, I did her proud by being the recipient of the school's colors for outstanding service to the school.
The memorizing part of today visit was the introduction by the teacher to the club's members. They cheered and clapped loudly for me right in the presence of many others. I'm not sure whether I deserve it, but I was blushing when I returned to my table.
Of the things I noticed, the choir noticeboard was placed next to the restroom. A sign of bad omen? I miss choir!
On the way home, I choose to overslept and end up at the other side of Singapore - Seng Kang. I'm depressed and I'm not sure why. I have everything I wanted. I have no relationship to worry over. The feeling of an untied knot resides in me, waiting for me to untangle. After dinner at Compass point, I just took a walk around, until most of the shops are closed.
She invited me for dinner, but my cellphone decided to play punk with me and only received it after a restart. I think she was waiting for me in school. The phone would not stay alive for long.

I have it planned flawlessly, but an exchange of words sparks my curiosity and interest. I planned to tuck in early since these few days I been exhibiting psysical and mental syndrome of a severe sleep deficiency.
A simple Hi sparked a chat that spanned 3 hours long. An interesting self discovery to each of our personal interests and music preference. Finally someone who shares my liking for jazz, blues and classical genre music.
Musically gifted - an inborn or acquired trait? I hold strong admiration for people who could handle their instrument well and naturally. I have the sudden urge to practice piano. I have a piano yet my skill is mediocre, how ironical.
Term test approaching soon in two weeks time, I am still taking my studies in stride. It's just to get things started.

It starting to get really annoying when someone get a rush of adrenaline verbally and there's nothing I can do about it but suffer quietly from the sonically assault.
Sister came back today while I was still out in school, to pass some of the stuff she bought from Hong Kong. Was pretty busy with my projects last week that I actually forgotten her trip. She was stuck in the hotel with a typhoon (Warning No. 8, with 10 being dangerous) disrupting her trip. Fresh supply of 老妻饼 for breakfast, anyone?
Life is never going to be the same with the demise of my Fujitsu laptop. I do not have the slightest idea how well my soon to arrive Apple Powerbook will fits into my life. Try imagining a life without viruses, popups, "Click here to remove unused icons from desktop", "Click here to know more about Microsoft Office" and the list goes on and on. Yeah, I would not have Microsoft Visio and InfoPath on my Powerbook, so what?
*grumble* Now when will my Powerbook arrives?

The only group that submit the Progress report today, something new eh? Way to go!
AGGRH! The new iPod is out! If I could just wait one or two months more. oh well. The fourth generation iPod is priced way below mine, but the wheel was changed to a click wheel, iPod mini look alike.
Spot the differences
What's the craze about Windstuck? My friends have been urging me to catch it, seems to have a great storyline from the review. Oh well, maybe I will catch it one of these days. Oh yeah, I have the soundtrack but yet to watch it, weird.

Alright, will be able to attend friday school event after all. The other secretary will takeover me for this week's minutes of meeting.
Gosh, I can't believe I did that in the lecture hall, it's so embarrassing! I guess I'm just too tired in the stuffy lecture hall (it was filled to the brink). I hope no one noticed, such embarrassment, my god.
Principles of Management group going on very well, much better than my E-Business Management group. Long reminds me of Su Wee, a much milder and hardworking version of him though. Alright, will retract my initial statement. These guys are much more hardworking than I expected.
Will be having my test tomorrow, wish me lotsa luck. :)

Something I hate about a new semester, you lost touch with your rhythm of work. Group projects left untouched, slacking until the very last minute and rush through everything. In life, nothing is perfect, I guess I should just move on and stop ranting about my group mates.
The stress level have drifted slightly from its peak this week, just one group assignment - Progress Report for Principles of Management. Test this tuesday (haven't touch on it yet, ouch!), school anniversary this friday and NE talk on saturday.
Alright, got to go.

With his hand, a computer is born...
Feelin' much better today. Thanks for the concern, although I can't promise myself that I won't slash my group mates with a kitchen knife the next time they give me such mess. :)
Spent the day scouting for parts for a new computer for my sister. I'm happy to see my sister, even though I won't be able to settle the other important tasks at hand. Since young, it has always been my wish to be like my sisters and parents, not sexuality of course. They are my inspiration. Alright, enough of digressing, go read the psychology textbook, it's explained clearly there.
Her new computer look great! I spare no effort to overturn the whole Sim Lim Square to source for the better parts, she was feeling a little restless following me around the square.
It's not the best, but it's the best for her slightly more than a thousand budget. Here's the specs,

There is totally no room for comparison with her ageing IBM Netvista. Didn't have time to take any picture since I'm rushing home to get my work done. Here's a picture from the manufacturer website.

Life on steroid
Everything seems to be going on a faster pace today. Turn up for ORDB tutoril and only less than one-third of the class attended. Rushed through lunch in less than half an hour before my managerial accounting tutorial.
Deadlines for my Principles of Management individual assignment and E-Biz management problem one solution. I'm not worried for the former as it has been completed since the beginning of the week and with some help from my sister's textbook.
While for the latter, I am screwed. totally. Wastrel who choose to hand in her part of the project at the very last minute and left me with an hour to complete with another group member. I have to skip my database lecture for this, darn. It was the most exciting part of the subject.
Did I mention we exceeded the pages limit to meet the deadline? I'm not surprise if I flunk this. If I really do, rest assure, she won't get away scot free, my complaint to the tutor and the peer appraisal will get her down.
The first interest group meeting with the new executive committee. Quite an easygoing bunch of people. Oh well, I am stressed beyond words. I was busy copying down notes for the minutes and at the same time, noting down mentally what I'm suppose to do. That Jonathan (you-know-who), choose to disrupt my concentration by sending over a note through bluetooth to my Tungsten. Now I understand the rational of having 2 secretaries.
Have a task force under me for the designing of the course's T shirt. Alright, I hate designing and I hate T shirt. I going to push through the idea of having polo tee during the next meeting.
With a handful of messy handwritten notes plus a rough written digitalized notes on my Tungsten and also the people to contact under my task force, it's going to be a sleepless weekend.

OMG. I AM SCREWED.
Conned to reach school early in the morning for my E-Biz group discussion. First, one of them message me, informing me she's not going to make it, asking everyone to proceed without her. Ironically, she stressed everyone to be on the dot for the meeting. Almost reaching school, another message came in, not coming due to sickness. He was the ex psychology group member that always come up with lame excuses to skip discussion.
I can't help feeling this won't be the first time.
The deadline is 5pm today. Guess what? Nothing has been done. This girl insisted on meetng and completing on the deadline itself. As a matter of fact, everyone have sent me their work except of hers. Now I am screwed.

The result are ...
Alright, I can't express how I'm feeling now, I got voted into office! Simply overjoyed!
I'm also disappointed that Bevan didn't get voted into presidency. He's really talented and also a Director Honours List holder, which really shines among the rest of the candidates. Nevertheless, congratuations to my fellow friends,
With great power comes great responsibility, a beacon of inspiration eh?
Been having insomnia these few days, causing havoc to my daily routine, late for lecture the day before and now, skipped my hospitality and tourism lecture this morning. Hope won't embarrass myself during tomorrow tutorial.
Object Relational Database ended early today. Ms. Gan was talking to a group of students about the removal of Java from our subjects. I was stunned when she turn to me, and said I can make it if I join school of Information Technology.
Time to rush my deadlines, tata.
